Yes, my best takeaway from your video was using a clamp underneath to hold my support stand to the table saw. My Delta contractor table saw does not have space to hook over the guide rail for the fence. Like your setup, my support sits on the rail and now clamps underneath. Thanks to your video, I spotted a better way to hold my support in place. Thanks!

Omg you pulled your lumber BACK out of a spinning blade. Wow this whole video is a “what not to do” video. Can’t even watch this. Meh.

Did you completely let go of a board you were in the middle of cutting?

That would be unsafe under any condition. If my hands were not on the piece then I either turned off the saw or had something else holding the piece out of camera range. Thank you for the comment.

WTF! 2:40 perfect scenario for kickback.

Thank for your comment. Yes, Kickback is always a concern and if you are able to use a newer saw with appropriate equipment you should. But regardless of equipment, good safety practices are the best approach.

@@rickswoodworking1658 You should never use fence and miter gauge at the same time when making cross cuts of long pieces. It's not as dangerous as making the same cut without miter gauge, but still very risky

You are right, should have used a spacer block to prevent the work from binding. With the Miter Gage on the right side of the blade this is far less likely, but still possible. Good catch.

@@rickswoodworking1658 Hey, why don't you ask me how I know or maybe the doctor from urgent care, lol. I was lucky, only broken tendon in my elbow. So it freaks me out when I see it. lol
