Wow I'm just amazed at all of the confirmation I've got in this video. A few months ago I kept seeing scripture about Samuel anointing David and defeating Goliath. I saw these verses every time I turned on the tv or radio, God even spoke to me about David in a dream, so I started studying those verses. It wasn't until months later that I understand why he had me studying those verses, I'm in a place in my life where God has me stepping out on faith and learning to trust him. God wanted me to take a leadership position at my job, but I was intimidated because I felt unqualified. I didn't understand why he wanted me to step out and take this position when there were so many others who were more qualified than myself.
The Lord also showed me how my experience was similar to David's experience as well as the meaning of our names, my name also means beloved.

God anointed a simple shepherd boy. 1 Cor. 1:26-31 (ESV) "26 For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards,[c] not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; 28 God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, 29 so that no human being[d] might boast in the presence of God. 30 And because of him[e] you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, 31 so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”
