The newer games have been closer
This isn't the first time that Sumlin coached a team that looked this bad. When he left Texas AM for Arizona, he lost like 75-7 to their instate rival Arizona State. To this day, that was the worse coached college team I have ever seen.
Iirc, Sumlin got handed his pink slip immediately after that game
