Ithukku peru mental health problems- borderline personality disorder...
This is a very talented person. Such people become extremely successful or extreme failures depending on societal/family support. This person is struggling because, she's been abandoned by her family/social support. Even in dire financial circumstances, she refuses to acknowledge her abandonment trauma. Why? Because of the Indian excuse- what will other people think? To which, the answer is - People want to know for sadistic satisfaction or for a faked orgasmic empathy- that doesn't exist.
When the patient realizes
1. What will other people think? is meaningless
2. People - generalized - experience 'sadistic satisfaction'- How do I know what another person could possibly feel?
3. People - generalized - experience 'empathy' like the patient.
The patient can experience extrasensory perception. This is the great gift and great bane of BPD. Many Docs will refuse to see BPD patients because they follow a prescription of steps. The BPD will see through the prescription and misdirect the Doc. And, the doc will exasperate him/herself into cursing/shouting/abandoning the patient. i.e. Surface level connection doesn't work with BPDs. These people just know. And, they can be loyal to a fault, to their own misery and against their survival interests.
This is because the fundamental relationship with the mother is emotional neglect.
She says she is diagnosed in another video. Such people want relationships and connection with the outside world.
When they have this connection/relationships, they will detach or destroy the relationship and come back to being alone.
You notice how the husband, daughter and mother don't have a relationship with the actress?
There's a bunch of problems there- the mother will be unavailable as a 'mother'.. But, interestingly- the patient puts her mother on a pedestal. Her mother can be a terrible human being. But, the patient doesn't acknowledge the emotional disconnect- encouraging the abuse(neglect).
Ex-Husband is downright abusive and has mental health issues himself. However, she has a child, citing societal requirements of femininity. This may be true. However, the daughter is at a disadvantage in life- because of her mother and grandmother's choices. And, the drama doesn't stop here. So, the daughter chooses to have less/nothing to do with the mother.
What you see is a reflection of the patient's mother's behaviors- disaffected, disingenuous, and lies.
The patient is a wonderful person. However, this wonderful person has a void that cannot be filled. Hence, the schizoid(split).
Notice the eye-movements and periodic dissociation affects.
She is amazing- as a person. Absolute gem. Needs alot of social support.
Such people are very artistic. Extremely Passionate. Because they experience another's pain as their own, they need assertiveness training i.e. The extrasensory perception for eg. sensitivity to noise- is a special format of autism and borderline characteristics. Rare... Very rare people. Even Bharatiar was somewhere on the Borderline spectrum.
Such people are the effeminate fathers and masculine mothers of cultures around the world. They tend to be the Ramanujam's channeling their inner Saraswathis. These people are essential to the expression of a people's identity. However, without the assertiveness training- they will tend to put themselves at risk. They will treat themselves as dirty/unclean. etc etc.
Once the borderline affect is mitigated- the other mental health issues will see substantial reduction- And, the patient will see a resurgence in fortunes. That's just how this works. Again, it requires social support. Or, extreme individualism-- often not the case with Borderline folks. Nothing new here. She needs some self belief, and someone who she trusts who doesn't abandon her during this short period of misfortune.
It is fascinating that she is selling soap. She makes and sells soap. It would be very interesting to know how her mind works with this respect. She is not washed out. She is not trying right now. She is just reliving the trauma of birth to an emotionally neglectful mother again. For eg. She gives the interview to the girl. She is accepted by her father. She has a strong connection- so she says. But, there is nothing else as info shared by the patient about her father.
I'm guessing both mother and father didn't participate in her life.- except for public displays of fake love.
As a borderline, she has come a long way. Most of these people - lose faith and commit suicide. They don't realize their inner strength. This patient does. Very fascinating. Just in case, the channel's manager is seeing this- I know someone who she can work with. Very smart guy- quiet, clean and Indian- useful to deal with misdirection that the child persona can throw during therapy. 30 days with this fellow online- would enable the patient to access her financial potential.
Why I say online- is because- the patient sounds extremely volatile. That's because of the financial stressors maybe.
She's been abused by mother, daughter and ex-husband.
In my experience, medicines don't work well with borderlines. Probably because, their boon and bane is their emotional capacities. Trying to tone it down, doesn't work well... It doesn't work. Exercise works like a charm, and not just any aerobic stuff. She needs to gain some muscle. Reconnect with her femininity as identity. Quite a few things. Some useful social support, without the Indian 'agrahaaram' mentality would be very effective.
She has come to accept emotional neglect as a way of life. Which need not be true.
This person is extremely capable, smart, emotionally astute. She will succeed financially if she sets her mind to it.
Until then, she will continue to relive her abandonment trauma. The Yoga/Sadhguru/diet etc takes care of the emotions.. What you want to do is set an intention and travel a path... This requires a more Western mindset. More than western, a Christian value framework. You can't really understand Hinduism without understanding a simpler religion, you know?
Christianity itself is infinitely complex, and very beautiful. A better understanding of the finite precedes attempting a grasp of what is infinite- IMO.
