Thanks Andy, that was more difficult than it should have been. I almost gave up, things sounded like cracks were going to appear. Anyhoo looks fantastic now, 23 years of dirt all gone.

I have an 8N Roadster where the paint on the 3rd brake light surround (which is a plastic piece) has nearly completely pealed off.
I need to remove it to have it painted but apparently that's a near impossible task =/

I think this is a fairly easy part to remove compared to the coupe. I am covering it in a video I currently have underway! Thanks for the comment

Very useful video Andy 👌what would be a very useful video for me anyway is the removal and replacement of the Bose amplifier on my 3.2v6 🙏

Top job Andy, mine needs a clean up too so will have a go......started raining 😞 when it stops I'll give it a go. That noise from the parcel shelf is dammed annoying during a drive, I've seen a piece on the TT forum on splitting it and filling it with different types of sealant then clipping it back together, ever thought about dealing with that? You may not be bothered by this noise? Anyhow, great job loving the vids👍🏻

Hi Gary. Thanks for your comment. Other than the broken clip, my parcel shelf if in pretty good condition. Saying that I do get a few creaks and squeaks so will take a look at dealing with those. I may pick up some old bits from the breakers and address them on test articles before tackling my own. I will keep you posted 👍

My parcel shelf rattles and creaks loudly.😡. This video is perfect timing 😊 because I did not know how to get the parcel shelf out 🧐I am going to mask the parcel shelf plastic, split it apart and then re-bond / glue it with something like Gripfill. Plus I’ll now be cleaning the brake light ! 😎. Useful video
