Posted on Facebook: These days, there are many people in our community impacted by sadness. In some cases, a dramatic loss; in other cases, shocking news. Uncertainty about the future and a feeling that time has stopped.
And although we know God is in control, our souls are shaken, our thoughts confused, and our hearts burdened. In a similar reality, this composer wrote this piece.
Without any words, it cries to heaven. The repeated theme of pain and memory returns in different variations. Dealing with hurt, pain, suffering, and sadness ends on a minor chord because God continues to work on us.
