Don’t forget in the original RS after you finished the song they would play it back to you with everything you did. They never brought that back RS2014 and RS+

Because they can't. @@Mynoah16 They needed a new engine to do things they wanted to do, but that meant as well that there was almost or maybe even zero legacy code they could port over. Rocksmith+ is basically only a new rocksmith in name and spirit, but not in the code base. It's like they took their 10 years of experience with the type of game and tried to do a fresh modern remake, but never actually had the resources to do it properly.
This is why I'm praying somebody does what they did with Guitar Hero and make an Open source fan game using the core mechanics of Rocksmith as a launch point GIVE ME CLONESMITH DAMMIT!
This has solidified my decision to never buy this. Was looking forward to the piano+, but im sick and tired of companies being so damn greedy. I refuse to partake in Subscription model services, you own nothing and it cost more in the long run for the user.
Okay, but as a bassist, why would I pay for a bass only subscription? There's only like 600 songs with tabs, and the *VAST* majority of those are from the awful auto tracking bot rather than an actual song chart.

I've hated the idea of Rocksmith + ever since it was annouced. Rocksmith 2014 was amazing and best of all... YOU OWNED IT. There's absolutely no need (other than money grabbing) to make a new, subscription based, Rocksmith. And before people say "but you can get keyboard/piano in Rocksmith +", they could have absolutely added that as a DLC pack, or hell even a new stand-alone game. The recurring revenue for Rocksmth should be the DLC and, if they wanted to, instrument packs/DLC
Honestly, if they increased the music library to compete with spotify and others and then switched to a music streaming app with the added benefit of having tabs and stuff (that they dont even have to chart themselves since the community could) to play with, it would be a killer service because I would not mind paying $20 to have a music streaming service and play rocksmith
Rocksmith+ and RS14 have always been a fun practise tool for me rather than a learning program. Rocksmith+ still has so much potential and I've wanted to see it take off so bad but whenever it progresses, something knocks it back. I get the feeling that behind the scenes it's been constant licensing battles which costed way more than they thought it would and they didn't have the library they wanted on launch. I think that's why RS+ has had the softest live service launch I've ever seen. Also as someone who has charted for both, I have had several charts dissappear from the library. There was a month where one song came back and my charts were still there so I didn't lose the work, but then it went again 😂. Another annoying thing that can happen is an official chart comes out in a following update pushing yours to the side. This happened to me last month
I really appreciate chart creators like yourself that put so much effort into making accessible music for us regular folks! But it's sad to see that Rocksmith doesn't do the same.
With how active the community is and how the CustomForge library keeps expanding, I'd have assumed someone would develop an open source alternative to Rocksmith that uses the same hardware, just like FOF is an alternative to Guitar Hero. Either that, or mod multiplayer and extra strings into the existing game.
ToneLib Jam is close. It doesn’t tell you what notes you’ve missed currently, but it’s reverse compatible with the cdlc content. You can pretty much do free trial indefinitely.
They had such a good base with RS2014, they had all the tools to build upon it, keep it simple and just bring few tools and features to garnish the existing surface. Instead the greed took over and blinded them from all things that really mattered. What a shame

Yeah you've summed up my feelings pretty well. I've only been playing 2014 but was interested in trying RS+ once the library expanded more. Only thing stopping me was the price- it was already so high (I'm also Canadian) that I couldn't justify it then, and definitely can't now. I even got a keyboard recently and was really considering buying a month to learn with rocksmith but there's no way I'm paying the new price.
I've been holding out for so long, waiting for R+ to be worth jumping into before laying down some cash. They gave me hope with Fear Factory and Meshuggah but this is a huge rug-pull. Those prices are a joke. L Ubisoft.
I gotta give you huge credit here dude. As probably the biggest Rocksmith UA-camr on the platform right now it would have been so easy for you to either ignore the pricing or even try to defend the price going up as this is your whole job but you have called Ubisoft out rightly in my opinion on this crap. I feel bad. I’ve started playing guitar a year ago and got rocksmith 2014 before I disappeared. All my friends saw me on it, some of them that also play guitar, and asked about it. It sucked telling them that they can’t buy it anymore but there is a subscription based one, yet you can’t mod it. Being able to mod in songs is what sold them on it.
Yeah I cancelled 5 days into the 7 week free trial and woke up to realize they'd then charged me for a full year at the end of that week even though I cancelled, still waiting on a refund, haven't heard from support on my case, I'm in Australia so if there's more than 2 or 3 consumer law breaches like these, Australia can actually ban them from selling products in the country for shit like this

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they are slowly going under. If not, then they are definitely struggling. Their only source of consistent income is R6 and it has experienced it's worst season in years. Ntm all of their other titles like Assassins Creed don't sell for shit anymore.
Compare Ubisoft to other giants like Rockstar, EA and Activision Blizzard and Ubisoft are the only company still trying to keep single player games and less popular titles alive. Blizzard milking wow, rockstar milking gta5 still. Ea and fifa or whatever other garbage resold sport game. Ubisoft are the only company still trying to create and sell new shit for the most part.
Late to the party, but I had the issue where I got charged after cancelling. It took them ten days to respond to the ticket, they didn’t take me seriously, then I opened a case with PayPal and all of a sudden it got escalated to a new team and was resolved in a couple days. Best of luck to everyone else!
I was trying to stay positive about the game when it first got announced. I tried the closed beta and there were definite issues but I saw some potential. When the game officially released I got a 3 months subscription and I was excited to play it but I got bored and quit 2 weeks in cuz I found I was only playing the same 4-5 songs over and over again. The search function was also a pain and if I did find a song I wanted to try it would be one of the dumb chord charts. That was always my biggest issue with this whole thing. Like we'll just add chord charts and have the community fill those in later. I just found it lazy and super frustrating. I waited maybe 8 months and tried going back with only a month sub. Most of the songs I wanted to play were still only chord charts. I found a few more songs I wanted to play but then I found myself in a loop of only playing maybe 8 songs out of the thousands they claimed to be in the game. I stopped playing and haven't been back since. I was thinking of giving it a try again since they added piano and I saw they added some good songs by more well known bands plus I like the fact they were releasing covers but now I don't think I will with the new price increases.
I am so glad I snagged RS2014 before it got delisted from Steam. But you’re right, the game still looks to be in testing. And for real, what high quality features? It’s just so sad for the community who do really love Rocksmith and it’s clear Ubisoft doesn’t care about Rocksmith.

That's just RS 2014 with CDLC. Since it's no longer sold anymore, sailing the open seas is totally justified (I have a real copy but if I didn't, arr matey).
I would be okay if they charged an extra 2-3$ IF you want to play piano content, heck split it off into its own subscription and make it a bundle deal for both, but charging everyone for it is INSANE.

I am wondering if you can do a review on the lessons in RS+. I started learning to play bass a while ago and use RS14 on my laptop (and XBox) to play songs. I want to take lessons but can't afford the $40+ per lesson and I was considering RS+ for their lessons but I have seen no reviews on the lessons. How good are they? Can you actually learn anything from them? Do they help? Please let me know if you've done a review on the lessons or know of someone that has reviewed them. Thanks! Rock On!

I was one of the most skeptical people from the jump with the subscription model. I was very slowly coming around. If they had added 7 string I probably would've subscribed. Whelp, guess my gut feeling was spot on.
Man, this is wild to me. I remember getting the first Rocksmith (PS3) for Xmas, the year of release, and then I got 2014, (PS3) on release. I never imagined that there would ever be a Rocksmith 3, I just assumed that the addition of songs would continue until the death of the product. I took part in the Alpha for Rocksmith + and I hated it. I have since purchased it on Steam, and just do CDLC, and I do still buy the few songs I wanna play, and Just break out the old PS3 when I wana play older songs I already purchased. Not too long ago, I seen that they were adding covers of songs, and once I listened to them, I was on the verge of buying it, because of the numerous updates since its launch. But this news has officially killed any interest at all. Im Canadian, and like hell am I spending $25 a month on a service I was just going to put up with for higher quality songs/charts. The sheer idea that this service is remotely worth $25 a month is absolutely laughable.

Ugh. They are blowing this. I did the year subscription for $99 a month ago but it's highly unlikely I'd renew come December unless they make huge improvements.

A remaster of 2014 would have been perfect. Updates to interface handling, extra strings and they'd have been sweet but instead I feel scammed. What a shame.
They already remastered 2014 bro. It's the version on Steam. They should've just taken 2014, added piano (midi) and electric drums (midi) and a new interface. Then, paid streamers to promote it, like Asmongold
I mean....that is the problem with the whole evolution and shift from add ons back then to DLC to now subscription models... it was to be expected that at some point a low price sub WILL be raised to a higher price. You see that with...well, pretty much every subscription model. Doesn´t matter if they do something new or if there costs actually go or went up... it is always to be expected. I only wonder what will come next following subscriptions... I heard paying by the hour played could become a thing... wouldn´t be to surprised.
I bought a 12 month subscription (getting some extra months) on the first day. I was always waiting for cool songs but they never came. And exatly one day!!! after the subscription ended they began to add cool songs. I payed for 12 months and got nothing and now they want to increase the prize. Really?!? And i still cannot jam together with my brother on local multiplayer which i could do in RS2014. GG Ubisoft
This is why I stick to Rocksmith 2014. R+ doesn't have the music I play, mainly blues and classic rock. Never saw a reason to switch over. Definitely don't now. What a sham(e)
The problem with games these days is that they are charging full price for an unfinished product. It's been that way for years. For someone who sees rocksmith plus and thinks they want to give it a go, who's never played an instrument, is being taken to the cleaners lol. They need a pc, if they don't have one, an instrument and the subscription. It's ridiculous! Consider how much the price will increase as more music is added to the library. What started as the price of a streaming service will now be the price of a game each month. You'd be better off finding someone who gives cheap lessons.
I don't think it's a non-factor that there's no alternative out there now that RS2014 has been de-listed. Netflix is getting away with charging like $8 a month for a streaming service with ads, Greedy game publishers, greedy record labels, honestly it's not surprising at all but I'm disappointed all the same.
I am so glad I bought hundreds of DLC for rocksmith already when it was 40% off because now I can use those whenever I want and I never have to buy their dumb new game Rocksmith+. And I get more songs, and I don't have to pay anything, thousands of hours of gameplay on the 2014 remastered version with those DLCs.
Play rocksmith 2014 with unofficial content in your channel and tell to your community about never buy a rocksmith subscription until they low the prices...
I live in argentina, so buying rocksmith+ was impossible for me now it's even more difficult to get it. The worst thing is that they delisted 2014 version.

It's not a game, but there's ToneLib Jam. It's primarily notation software for guitar, however it opens all RS2014 songs/psarcs along with files from other similar software, and has multiple ways to sight read (tab, notation, and an RS/GH-like highway view). It's probably the best way to tab out songs for RS2014. 🙂
I just got a guitar and went to look for rocksmith to buy and play since i had some friends who used to play it all the time on steam. Then after some research what i found is just a bunch of bs going on with this game. Rocksmith 2014 keys are really expensive where i live, i can't play rocksmith + on steam and the g ame is also really expensive right now, so i'm going to keep learning guitar the old school way, which is a shame, the concept behind rocksmith is really cool.
As someone who learned guitar from rocksmith 2014 on PC. RS+ is never going to be worth it with the little amount of work they are putting into the game. As i memorize more and more songs im slowly moving over to guitar rig 5 and playing along to .wav files.
Looks like people will have to sail the 7 seas and get Rocksmith 2014 and all the dlc another way so they can use cdlc aswell to be fair Ubisoft shouldnt be surprised if people go via that route rather than pay for dogcrap rocksmith +. I paid for 1 month and never again it was horrendous.

I'm living in Ukraine and Rocksmit+ is not selling in my region. So if you don't have Rocksmith 2014 or previous you can't play in Rocksmith at all. Fist of all they create a patch which brake Rocksmith 2014 when release Rocksmith+. I assume they thought that people migrate to Rocksmith+ but they didn't so they remove possibility to purchase Rocksmith 2014 and now start to raise the price for a not finished product. I just got rocksmith plus and there is an extreme loud screeching from the interface when I’m not playing notes. And it only happens once the tone changes. And it’s not the iRig cause it doesn’t happen in GarageBand
@@RiffRepeater iRig makes it so you don’t need the microphone. It acts as an amp. And it only screeches when the tone changes during a song but it doesn’t stop after that. And I would play the og rocksmith but there’s a sound delay I couldn’t fix.
i signed up for a year for the free month and they tried real hard to get my money but i gave em a paypal with a bank account that doesn't exist. One shouldn't have to do that to protect themselves from this garbage though.
I cancelled and reactived my RS+ subscription over the year and a half when I heard some additions, but they mention it's region lock without sayin what songs is, when I saw the mail about the incomin price , I was "yep, you won, no more RS+ for me, uninstall time"
I just resubbed for a month after not playing since release day. 2-3h in and I am out of songs I want to play. They just added some Deftones, Metallica and Green Day and called it a day. The contrast to the old 2014 DLC release schedule and quality is crazy. Such a shame, since the guitar sound in plus is genuinely way better, but what's the point if they can't deliver songs to play.
$20 a month for a game where you can't even sort your bookmarks lmao. R+ with some social features and a smaller, tighter catalogue would've been a slam dunk for the community and streamers, but instead we have a product that's been in beta for years that goes 3 steps back with every step forward. The sad part is that there's no way the actual devs don't know what's wrong, and I'm sure most of them care too, but the whole project is just so grossly mismanaged.
With the new interview from Ubi leadership, it just emphasizes the points you've made. As a player of the beta (hopeful, at that), and an avid 2014 player, this is so frustrating. Without multiplayer Rocksmith+ is useless to me. Since Rocksmith 2011 first came out my son and I get together every weekend and play for 3 or 4 hours. It's the only time I get to see him and we've gotten really good at playing the pieces in the game. We both baught it but cancelled because it is useless.
I remember when Rocksmith+ first came out I tried to sub to it but it glitched and never charged me but it still let me play for two months because they didn't notice the glitch or something. I was glad that I didn't pay anything for Rocksmith+ because it was so disappointing, the song selection was so bad and of course most of the songs weren't actually charted.
This sucks I wanted to this to be so good, I've just started using rocksmith custom songs and I love it so much. Does Ubisoft ever communicate with creators like you?
Thankfully I play the drums. So it has been super easy to play the RB titles in no-fail mode. There is also Phase Shift and many putting out free content. But lately, I've been bringing up the scrolls on youtube and just playing along. I play an acoustic set, so there was never a score mode anyway. I just turn up my 3000 watt stereo and make the neighbors listen to whatever it is I'm playing...lol
If you haven’t yet, you should definitely react to Chasing Light with the RTL tone and 80’s Hetfield voice. Absolutely insane what difference the tone and drums make.
40% increase on the 12-month price is an absolute disgrace! If we get the same percentage increase in the UK then that means we'll be paying about £120 per year which is FAR TOO MUCH!

Rocksmith plus has been a heartbreak since it's release i love Rocksmith and recommend it to everyone but Rocksmith + i can't recommend sounds are better in plus and im sure they added more songs since i last played i think they should take some of the qualities they have in plus like updated sound and put it in 2014 long live Rocksmith 2014 my home forever

I'm glad i saw this. I've been playing guitar and bass for 20 years, but I'm starting to learn piano and i thought this could be a good practice tool for all three. I'm Canadian, too, and my hesitation was the price, and value for that cost. Knowing they're about to jack that up? No way. Not worth it.
I have enjoyed your Sabaton album playthrough. I have yet to buy a guitar (once I move away from my spouse) and I still have only the 2014 version. I think I'll stay with that, for now. Also Canadian here.
one of the only things that was making me think about getting this game was them having august burns red but it seems like they got removed... lmfao almost none of the songs i have in 2014 are in rocksmith+ and most of those songs are my favorites too. no billy talent, rise against, sum 41, audioslave, rage against the machine, offspring, queens of the stone age.. these are some of the biggest guitar based bands and yet they are all missing from a guitar teaching game.. why would i ever leave 2014 when i have all those and more?

Yeah you've summed up my feelings pretty well. I've only been playing 2014 but was interested in trying RS+ once the library expanded more. Only thing stopping me was the price- it was already so high (I'm also Canadian) that I couldn't justify it then, and definitely can't now. I even got a keyboard recently and was really considering buying a month to learn with rocksmith but there's no way I'm paying the new price.
I've been holding out for so long, waiting for R+ to be worth jumping into before laying down some cash. They gave me hope with Fear Factory and Meshuggah but this is a huge rug-pull. Those prices are a joke.

As probably the biggest Rocksmith UA-camr on the platform right now it would have been so easy for you to either ignore the pricing or even try to defend the price going up as this is your whole job but you have called Ubisoft out rightly in my opinion on this crap. I feel bad. I’ve started playing guitar a year ago and got rocksmith 2014 before I disappeared. All my friends saw me on it, some of them that also play guitar, and asked about it. It sucked telling them that they can’t buy it anymore but there is a subscription based one, yet you can’t mod it. Being able to mod in songs is what sold them on it.
Even tho I never left rocksmith 2014, I’ll Deff be sticking to cdlc from now on

Yeah I cancelled 5 days into the 7 week free trial and woke up to realize they'd then charged me for a full year at the end of that week even though I cancelled, still waiting on a refund, haven't heard from support on my case, I'm in Australia so if there's more than 2 or 3 consumer law breaches like these, Australia can actually ban them from selling products in the country for shit like this

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they are slowly going under. If not, then they are definitely struggling. Their only source of consistent income is R6 and it has experienced it's worst season in years. Ntm all of their other titles like Assassins Creed don't sell for shit anymore.
Compare Ubisoft to other giants like Rockstar, EA and Activision Blizzard and Ubisoft are the only company still trying to keep single player games and less popular titles alive. Blizzard milking wow, rockstar milking gta5 still. Ea and fifa or whatever other garbage resold sport game. Ubisoft are the only company still trying to create and sell new shit for the most part.
And of course this comes AFTER they remove R2014 and 70% of the DLC from the stores. How convenient
Late to the party, but I had the issue where I got charged after cancelling. It took them ten days to respond to the ticket, they didn’t take me seriously, then I opened a case with PayPal and all of a sudden it got escalated to a new team and was resolved in a couple days. Best of luck to everyone else!
I always encourage people to use prepaid debit cards for subscriptions so that companies cannot do things like this.
I was trying to stay positive about the game when it first got announced. I tried the closed beta and there were definite issues but I saw some potential. When the game officially released I got a 3 months subscription and I was excited to play it but I got bored and quit 2 weeks in cuz I found I was only playing the same 4-5 songs over and over again. The search function was also a pain and if I did find a song I wanted to try it would be one of the dumb chord charts. That was always my biggest issue with this whole thing. Like we'll just add chord charts and have the community fill those in later. I just found it lazy and super frustrating.
I waited maybe 8 months and tried going back with only a month sub. Most of the songs I wanted to play were still only chord charts. I found a few more songs I wanted to play but then I found myself in a loop of only playing maybe 8 songs out of the thousands they claimed to be in the game. I stopped playing and haven't been back since.
I was thinking of giving it a try again since they added piano and I saw they added some good songs by more well known bands plus I like the fact they were releasing covers but now I don't think I will with the new price increases.
I am so glad I snagged RS2014 before it got delisted from Steam. But you’re right, the game still looks to be in testing. And for real, what high quality features? It’s just so sad for the community who do really love Rocksmith and it’s clear Ubisoft doesn’t care about Rocksmith.

That's just RS 2014 with CDLC. Since it's no longer sold anymore, sailing the open seas is totally justified (I have a real copy but if I didn't, arr matey).
I would be okay if they charged an extra 2-3$ IF you want to play piano content, heck split it off into its own subscription and make it a bundle deal for both, but charging everyone for it is INSANE.

I am wondering if you can do a review on the lessons in RS+. I started learning to play bass a while ago and use RS14 on my laptop (and XBox) to play songs. I want to take lessons but can't afford the $40+ per lesson and I was considering RS+ for their lessons but I have seen no reviews on the lessons. How good are they? Can you actually learn anything from them? Do they help?
Please let me know if you've done a review on the lessons or know of someone that has reviewed them.

I was one of the most skeptical people from the jump with the subscription model. I was very slowly coming around. If they had added 7 string I probably would've subscribed. Whelp, guess my gut feeling was spot on.
Man, this is wild to me. I remember getting the first Rocksmith (PS3) for Xmas, the year of release, and then I got 2014, (PS3) on release. I never imagined that there would ever be a Rocksmith 3, I just assumed that the addition of songs would continue until the death of the product. I took part in the Alpha for Rocksmith + and I hated it. I have since purchased it on Steam, and just do CDLC, and I do still buy the few songs I wanna play, and Just break out the old PS3 when I wana play older songs I already purchased. Not too long ago, I seen that they were adding covers of songs, and once I listened to them, I was on the verge of buying it, because of the numerous updates since its launch. But this news has officially killed any interest at all. Im Canadian, and like hell am I spending $25 a month on a service I was just going to put up with for higher quality songs/charts. The sheer idea that this service is remotely worth $25 a month is absolutely laughable.
Go off, king! It's funny, I actually grabbed a sub to mess with piano last month and even I was starting to feel like maybe they were turning around on RS+ and now....just everything you said. lol
Ugh. They are blowing this. I did the year subscription for $99 a month ago but it's highly unlikely I'd renew come December unless they make huge improvements.
And to think I was almost about to sign up for it, but not for an unfinished game at that price for a very limited song list...

Thats why I just stayed with RS 2014 remastered. I have a hugh library and if played on the PC you can find a hugh library on line to play.
A remaster of 2014 would have been perfect. Updates to interface handling, extra strings and they'd have been sweet but instead I feel scammed. What a shame.

I mean....that is the problem with the whole evolution and shift from add ons back then to DLC to now subscription models... it was to be expected that at some point a low price sub WILL be raised to a higher price. You see that with...well, pretty much every subscription model. Doesn´t matter if they do something new or if there costs actually go or went up... it is always to be expected. I only wonder what will come next following subscriptions... I heard paying by the hour played could become a thing... wouldn´t be to surprised.

And exatly one day!!! after the subscription ended they began to add cool songs. I payed for 12 months and got nothing and now they want to increase the prize. Really?!? And i still cannot jam together with my brother on local multiplayer which i could do in RS2014. GG Ubisoft

The problem with games these days is that they are charging full price for an unfinished product. It's been that way for years. For someone who sees rocksmith plus and thinks they want to give it a go, who's never played an instrument, is being taken to the cleaners lol. They need a pc, if they don't have one, an instrument and the subscription. It's ridiculous! Consider how much the price will increase as more music is added to the library. What started as the price of a streaming service will now be the price of a game each month. You'd be better off finding someone who gives cheap lessons.
I don't think it's a non-factor that there's no alternative out there now that RS2014 has been de-listed.
Netflix is getting away with charging like $8 a month for a streaming service with ads, Greedy game publishers, greedy record labels, honestly it's not surprising at all but I'm disappointed all the same.

I am so glad I bought hundreds of DLC for rocksmith already when it was 40% off because now I can use those whenever I want and I never have to buy their dumb new game Rocksmith+. And I get more songs, and I don't have to pay anything, thousands of hours of gameplay on the 2014 remastered version with those DLCs.

I live in argentina, so buying rocksmith+ was impossible for me now it's even more difficult to get it. The worst thing is that they delisted 2014 version.
You may not be able to buy 2014 anymore but you can still obtain it and play it.

It's not a game, but there's ToneLib Jam.
It's primarily notation software for guitar, however it opens all RS2014 songs/psarcs along with files from other similar software, and has multiple ways to sight read (tab, notation, and an RS/GH-like highway view).
It's probably the best way to tab out songs for RS2014. 🙂

I just got a guitar and went to look for rocksmith to buy and play since i had some friends who used to play it all the time on steam. Then after some research what i found is just a bunch of bs going on with this game. Rocksmith 2014 keys are really expensive where i live, i can't play rocksmith + on steam and the g ame is also really expensive right now, so i'm going to keep learning guitar the old school way, which is a shame, the concept behind rocksmith is really cool.
As someone who learned guitar from rocksmith 2014 on PC. RS+ is never going to be worth it with the little amount of work they are putting into the game.
As i memorize more and more songs im slowly moving over to guitar rig 5 and playing along to .wav files.

Looks like people will have to sail the 7 seas and get Rocksmith 2014 and all the dlc another way so they can use cdlc aswell to be fair Ubisoft shouldnt be surprised if people go via that route rather than pay for dogcrap rocksmith +. I paid for 1 month and never again it was horrendous.

I'm living in Ukraine and Rocksmit+ is not selling in my region. So if you don't have Rocksmith 2014 or previous you can't play in Rocksmith at all. Fist of all they create a patch which brake Rocksmith 2014 when release Rocksmith+. I assume they thought that people migrate to Rocksmith+ but they didn't so they remove possibility to purchase Rocksmith 2014 and now start to raise the price for a not finished product. Ubisoft is so Ubisoft. I think it's time to download a cracked version. Also I better agree for a papercut cross my nipples then purchase this pile of crap))
And this is why I stick with Rocksmith 14 and custom tracks. Even if you can no longer buy the game, piracy is always a valid option.

I just got rocksmith plus and there is an extreme loud screeching from the interface when I’m not playing notes. And it only happens once the tone changes. And it’s not the iRig cause it doesn’t happen in GarageBand
Is it possible it's using your Microphone and not the interface?
@@RiffRepeater iRig makes it so you don’t need the microphone. It acts as an amp. And it only screeches when the tone changes during a song but it doesn’t stop after that. And I would play the og rocksmith but there’s a sound delay I couldn’t fix.
i signed up for a year for the free month and they tried real hard to get my money but i gave em a paypal with a bank account that doesn't exist. One shouldn't have to do that to protect themselves from this garbage though.

I cancelled and reactived my RS+ subscription over the year and a half when I heard some additions, but they mention it's region lock without sayin what songs is, when I saw the mail about the incomin price , I was "yep, you won, no more RS+ for me, uninstall time"

I just resubbed for a month after not playing since release day.
2-3h in and I am out of songs I want to play. They just added some Deftones, Metallica and Green Day and called it a day. The contrast to the old 2014 DLC release schedule and quality is crazy.
Such a shame, since the guitar sound in plus is genuinely way better, but what's the point if they can't deliver songs to play.
$20 a month for a game where you can't even sort your bookmarks lmao. R+ with some social features and a smaller, tighter catalogue would've been a slam dunk for the community and streamers, but instead we have a product that's been in beta for years that goes 3 steps back with every step forward.
The sad part is that there's no way the actual devs don't know what's wrong, and I'm sure most of them care too, but the whole project is just so grossly mismanaged.
With the new interview from Ubi leadership, it just emphasizes the points you've made. As a player of the beta (hopeful, at that), and an avid 2014 player, this is so frustrating. The prior games had WAY more content for the price, and value for the consumer. Thank you for the honest feedback, as always!
Without multiplayer Rocksmith+ is useless to me. Since Rocksmith 2011 first came out my son and I get together every weekend and play for 3 or 4 hours. It's the only time I get to see him and we've gotten really good at playing the pieces in the game. We both baught it but cancelled because it is useless.
I remember when Rocksmith+ first came out I tried to sub to it but it glitched and never charged me but it still let me play for two months because they didn't notice the glitch or something. I was glad that I didn't pay anything for Rocksmith+ because it was so disappointing, the song selection was so bad and of course most of the songs weren't actually charted.
This sucks I wanted to this to be so good, I've just started using rocksmith custom songs and I love it so much. Does Ubisoft ever communicate with creators like you?
Thankfully I play the drums. So it has been super easy to play the RB titles in no-fail mode. There is also Phase Shift and many putting out free content. But lately, I've been bringing up the scrolls on youtube and just playing along. I play an acoustic set, so there was never a score mode anyway. I just turn up my 3000 watt stereo and make the neighbors listen to whatever it is I'm playing...lol
If you haven’t yet, you should definitely react to Chasing Light with the RTL tone and 80’s Hetfield voice. Absolutely insane what difference the tone and drums make.

Rocksmith plus has been a heartbreak since it's release i love Rocksmith and recommend it to everyone but Rocksmith + i can't recommend sounds are better in plus and im sure they added more songs since i last played i think they should take some of the qualities they have in plus like updated sound and put it in 2014 long live Rocksmith 2014 my home forever

I'm glad i saw this. I've been playing guitar and bass for 20 years, but I'm starting to learn piano and i thought this could be a good practice tool for all three. I'm Canadian, too, and my hesitation was the price, and value for that cost. Knowing they're about to jack that up? No way. Not worth it.
I have enjoyed your Sabaton album playthrough. I have yet to buy a guitar (once I move away from my spouse) and I still have only the 2014 version. I think I'll stay with that, for now. Also Canadian here.

almost none of the songs i have in 2014 are in rocksmith+ and most of those songs are my favorites too.
no billy talent, rise against, sum 41, audioslave, rage against the machine, offspring, queens of the stone age.. these are some of the biggest guitar based bands and yet they are all missing from a guitar teaching game..
