  • I've been wearing the Convoy Tee from Olivers for a few months now. Made with Merino Wool it sheds water and stinky smells and looks good no matter where it's worn.
I broke in the shirt while living in Colorado and then left the country for a 12 month trip with my family. We're all living out of carry-on-sized backpacks during this time so it's important that the things I pack work in nearly every situation I put them in.
We started with one month in Romania where it was very hot and humid. My one gripe with the shirt is that after being carefully folded and packed for the journey it took a couple of days for all of the creases to work their way out of the shirt. Still, it performed well in the mountainous cities of Sibiu and Brașov along with numerous bus and train trips. The Convoy Tee is trendy enough to fit in on a date with Christine at the trendiest places in Bucharest.
We've been in the French Alps for a couple of weeks now and the shirt is performing as well as ever. It's cooler and on those rainy days the shirt does a nice job of shedding light precipitation. Granted, it won't keep you dry in a downpour but those first drops bead up and roll off and the shirt dries nicely.
At $78 the Convoy Tee isn't cheap, however, since we're traveling with limited luggage space we decided to put a lot of thought into the things we bring with us. That has also meant spending more money on clothing that does multiple jobs well. The Convoy Tee has been a great fit.
At 6' tall and 154 pounds I think the medium trim fit Convoy is best though it looks to have been replaced with a relaxed fit V2 which more people may enjoy.
