Hello, unfortunately it does not work on my Huawei P30 Lite. The latest beta version of WhatsApp is installed and the I Phone is in factory condition. However, I don't see the option. Do you have another idea?
I just tested this version on July 6th. My device is an Asus Zenfone 5 (2018), for iPhone 11. The WhatsApp option does not appear in the app

Thank you very much man. I was using my old android phone only for whatsapp because I didn't want to lose my history and was already considering using a paid solution. It's not working for me. After all steps is done and I installed WhatsApp and started chat move process on iPhone it show a popup with an error "Try again or move with out transfer". It always stuck at 40%. Basically wen transfer starts it suddenly reach to 40% and error popup appears. If anyone of you know the solution.

I was looking for somethings else and came across this recommendation. I struggled so hard last years October with this transfer (was using backuptrans with a „borrowed“ license in the end). So glad to hear that there is an easy workaround for this now.

It is not working for OnePlus 5T (Oxygen OS 10.0.1). Tried other latest whatsapp APKs as well. Whatsapp option does not appear in Move to iOS app. Had to set up the iphone without whatsapp to update it to 15.5 version. Please provide updates on how to do it for one plus phones

I can't believe it worked. Thank you man! I was struggling with this issue for weeks. Some tips for the ones who couldn't do it:
Transfer your whatsapp documents, images, videos, gifs, etc to your computer.
Delete these transferred files from your phone.
Click backup in whatsapp settings.
By this way, I reduced the amount of data to be transferred from 5 gb to 400 mb. It will be much quicker.
Last tip: wait patiently in the preparation screen even if it looks like it is stuck at 0%.

Hi Alex, The WhatsApp move to IOS finally worked with the latest beta version. Things I observed:
1. Be patient when it shows preparing when moving huge amount of messages.
2.while the WhatsApp imports messages after transfer dont open any application or notification panel as well.

I have been searching on this for so long but no method was free. Tried this and BINGO.. All is well. There can be an issue with Huawei users, as they cannot install Data transfer tool from google play. I have faced the same issue. I tried using a new apple Id and it worked perfectely, so the problem probably lies within some corrupted icloud whatsapp backup, after that i switched to my old Id and uploaded a backup to my icloud.

You need need the beta anymore, just use the latest WhatsApp version.
Is it safe to download beta version from Third party website/source because that's not the proper way to do it. Please advise us if we should wait for the stable one or download it from third party sources.
Once it goes into the iPhone, the WhatsApp version is the public version, so the Beta is only used to make it happen on the Android

I kept trying this method with different beta versions, none of them are working for me. I now have beta version 2.22.16.2 downloaded and I can't go back to 2.22.15.11 nor can I download whatapp's official current version. Does anyone know how I can get back to these other versions? I've deleted the files off my phone already..

Hi Alex, please help. Whenever I try to transfer my whatsapp data to my iPhone using iOS move to iPhone, it stays stuck on 5% and fails to transfer. I only have 4.3GB to transfer and my wifi connection is good so I have no idea why this is happening. Any ideas?

Ok i found the problem, it lies within the apple id if you ever had whatsapp on it before the icloud interferes with the new backup, so I just used a new apple Id on the setup and it worked. After that you can switch back and upload your whatsapp backup to the cloud.

This worked out great for me, just to note, when you are on move ios, make sure that you have both devices connected to the wifi. This does not work if the android is temporarily connected to the iphone's wifi.
Mine it asks me to connect to the iPhone connection and when I did , I was just hanging for three hours . When it asks and I deny , it says failed , how did u overcome
Start the process with both devices connected to the same WIFI, then the iPhone will create a hotspot and the Android will connect to that hotspot in order for the whole thing to work.

When the iPhone creates it then the android takes the hospot , but it keeps on loading and no further procces . It did it for 4 hours and I later cancelled it
