Thank you for sharing this program. I’ve always loved Loretta, she was one of the most gracious, graceful and beautiful people I’ve ever seen also such an extremely talented actress.
This one might be my favorite, for its simplicity and lovely writing. How Ms.Young could portray plain characters so heart rending-ly while being the very epitome of beauty herself is a great wonder. True beauty I guess.
That is SO true! But i could not help thinking that we see MANY Women look like Plain Maple and they can become like Loretta Young with a little effort :) such as the Right Hairstyle, the right clothes and posture and a big smile & confidence :)
@@upthedownescalator630 The crash of glass reference meant that they were going to do some serious kissing, and, because of that, their glasses would crash into each other. I think Sandra's comment referred to the humorous way in which the guy expressed this.
Ah, gotta love Loretta..! Plus i love how old film depicts inflation! (I'm 65) The next gen may go "$20?!?" (thinking how inexpensive) but even back in 1970 Aussie bread was only 46¢ a loaf ..fascinating's all! (MY 1st wage was $35 and i was 'loaded'..lol.) This ep's final car scene dialogue is...maybe 'bit blunt' here & there, but similar to a noticeable inflation's humour, it's really factual comment! (Love that with her show) ie: We may think "Aw, how quaint.." or w'ever after certain dialogue, or "Oh no you DIDn't..!" at what was said! But usually it's good advice (albeit somewhat "old-fashioned!") Ah, Loretta Loretta Loretta Enough of her we just can't getta!!!!
Making my way through every one, my absolute favourite watch x
Such a sweet story❤
More and more I appreciate and love Loretta's acting talents!
TV has always sold things, if it's not a product it's an idea, a person or a way of life. Nothing is free, not even the audience.
Absolutely wonderful!

Binging!!! 😅
Nothing like this can ever be duplicated today.
How cute was that!

You took the words right out of my mouth.
Crazy how she did that cause she's really very pretty. When she and her guy friend are in the cafe, they're just so natural! So interesting
Love this episode, sweet and wonderful, these two were meant for each other.
Love this one. She reminds me of Olive in On the Buses...🌷👍
Whoa! You're right!
(I was thinking how she SOOoo reminds me of someone...!)
