    I got one about 2 years ago and it is fantastic. I have had it in the shop twice though for output tubes going bad. I use a TC Electronic HOF for the reverb shimmer through the C Later, very cool sound!1

    Hi Lewis. Thank you fot this video you shared in 2018. I've built a Overtone Special and a
    C-Lator from Ceriatone Kits back in 2017 and it sounds really amazing - as you know. I love it with the Analogman NKT Fuzz on the clean channel and, of course, with the amp's overdrive channel withoit need for any pedal in front. I am happy with plate reverb pedals in the C-Lator loop but I stopped looking for spring reverb pedals as nothing I've tried convinced me. So, I'll go for the "real thing" and the Vermona seems to be a very nice option. Can you please share how you connect the Vermona with the C-Lator loop? The Vermona has two input- and output levels (0dBu and -20dBu), which levels are you using? Thanks!

    Does anyone know if the Vermona 3.2 would work in a Parallel Effects loop? I know with other digital rack rack units there is a Killdry setting which makes it compatible with a Parallel effects loop, I would love to add this to my setup, any info would be so helpful.

    Wow I have been looking at this exact same setup! I have a question tho, how do the C-Lator's work exactly? Signal pathwise?

    BTW does this rack works well with a Instr. level tube buffered head loop ?

    Sounds great. I'm guessing you will run a loop out to the board to make the loop foot switchable?

    Hey mam I'm in of making a hard choice. My choices are between this amp, a mesa lonestar because of the master, and a fender super reverb. I cant always play at higher volumes. However all the princetons and deluxes have not been my thing. I love supers but can they be tamed and still pedals well? Ceriatone also makes a jm 100 that I hear can be tamed with a very good master volume as well. On the weekends I get to crank though

      @rogb3199 Рік тому

      If you use the Dumbleator or Nicks C Lator as a tube buffered effects loop, definitely the best place for reverb and delay, you can control master volume using that, and leave the amp alone

    Are the clator and vermona different types of reverbs? Sorry I don't know well

    • @danielcgomez
      @danielcgomez 4 роки тому

      The C-Lator is a tube buffered FX Loop for the Amp,. The Vermona is a Reverb Unit which is placed in the FX send/Return of the C-lator.

    Hi, great phrasing & tone , i got the same amp, do u think the C-lator makes a huge difference in tone of the amp ?

    • @lauriedepaurie
      @lauriedepaurie 6 років тому +1

      Amr Fathy I own an HRM version of this amp and I use the Klein-u-lator.
      It does change the tone. It sounds like it gives a bit more compression on the mids. Doesn't really sound like it's a good thing, but it is. I highly recommend it if you use the FXloop though. Otherwise you'll be very disappointed with the sound.

      laurens b thanks for the reply. But how do u find it compared to the C-lator .. im confused which to get the C or the K, i know the C is tube driven & bulky in size & weight in addition to the price, where the K is 1/3 of the price but solid state & smaller in size ! 🤦🏻‍♂️

      Buddy of mine built himself a dumblelator clone (not from ceriatone though), and the difference I heard was negotiable (switched between both all settings at noon). To my ears there was a slight difference, but it could just as wel be the tolerences on the parts used as it was basically 'fixed' by a slight twist of a knob. The only advantage of a C-lator is that you can build it into the amp and it takes up less room in a rack

    • @Diax1324
      @Diax1324 5 років тому

      C-lator is just an external effects loop. Not necessary unless you want your time-based (Think Reverb and Delay) effects to sound nice and clean, and sit at a consistent level.

    • @12nicky34
      @12nicky34 4 роки тому

      If you use modulation effects then the c lator is a must. I didnt use one when I first had my ceriatone hrm and the drop in signal was awful and also the clarity wasnt there either. Its interesting in this video as he's got the 'in' on the c lator up full and Nick at ceriatone told me to keep the in and out at around 1 o clock. Still sounds great though.

    Do you think this amp can get SRV tones?

    • @lauriedepaurie
      @lauriedepaurie 6 років тому +1

      StateEngineer87 he used Dumble modded Fenders and a steel string singer for his tone. This is supposed to represent a slighty later version, with a 2nd channel.
      These things can really do a multitude of things, also very dependant on your playing style and guitars. But my HRM with a good strat, heavy strings and hard playing can do the SRV thing really well. John Mayer's tone is essentially a 'ripoff' of SRV's tone, and he uses these types of amps.

    • @pacman1789
      @pacman1789 5 років тому

      laurens b John Mayer actually has a Steel String Singer
