- Is this the track that gives them mainstream acceptance? I sure hope so because "Lose My Breath" is a fantastic track. In my opinion no. To be fair I don't even care, I think Charlie Puth killed all the Skz spirit and style with this song. Maybe it will be a hit in the mainstream, but in my opinion it's just a mediocre pop song that people struggle to like because they love stray kids. I hope they will go back to producing their own songs because those are way better and they are the music that made me fall in love with them.
I am sorry, i really need to vent, I know it's not a popylar opinion, but meh.
@@vermillion2580 No, that's a great opinion. I think it's a solid song, but I also don't think it's the one quite yet. I like that they took a chance on a sound, though, because it opens up possibilities for the future and eventually to a song where they DO crossover.

The concept is they're mermen I believe, but have come to land, I assume for love. Honestly, the Instrumental for this song (also released) is so, so good!

they use so many interesting notes and tones they haven't used before i think charlie is a good influence on them and helps them see that there are still a lot of things to do and they aren't nearing the end of the line yet
Exposure to new artist is gonna bring out great things from them. The all English part was great to see. Wonder how that might translate to rap.
Was surprised to see your reaction because I know you are starting from their early songs. It's an interesting sound for them but they are always stretching themselves for their craft so I really appreciate that about the boys. As to other vocal songs there are a few like Youtiful (5 Start) and Cover Me (Rock Star). You will come up to Neverending Story when you hit Levanter but there is a bit of rap in that amongst vocals. I'm trying to dig my memory but can't think of any others where they all ONLY sing. I'm sure someone else will remember ones I've forgotten. Oh Levanter, of course! Winter Falls and 24 to 25 off the Christmas EveL album. Maybe Lost Me, Secret Secret, Novel.

It seems to me the idea of MV is to show that for the sake of love, a choice is made between a familiar and long life without a soul and a new world with a short and difficult life full of love. This is an analogy with the Little Mermaid on the contrary, so there is a lot of water, symbolising the connection with another world, the world of water with a long life without love, which the guys are ready to leave. The last frame is very symbolic. And Lee Know one withstood the test.
Thank you for clarifying. I saw the preview and caught the mermaid parts in the beginning because of comments and the seafoam part. I assume the part about 3/4 the way through with the video shot backwards was them leaving the comfort of the water. I am going to guess the bubbles going back into their mouth is supposed to show them breathing underwater, their "natural" place.
