If you put some cheap welded wire fencing on after bale #12 of tier 5, you won't need tie tiers. In my experience, the stacks are more stable and stand better than with tie tiers. If you're loading out with a grapple it's easier without tie tiers.
180 Allis Chalmers just a great all around tractor, quick , nimble and fun to drive. Get rid of the Stanley Muffler and get a Nelson it will run better
That was always on it when grandpa had the tractor and we just haven't had to replace it yet. The tractor is getting up there in hours probably around 14,000. the tack stopped working at 10,000 hrs
i use a 1033 with auto tie, would not be doing hay if i didn't have the bale wagon! good luck with 1034!
