This is exactly how a grease is collected from coconut shells in villages in Karnataka. Ancient method. they stuff an earthen pot with coconut shells - The brown shells not the green shells of tender coconut. then follow the same process to collect coconut shell grease which also is used as medicine for cuts and burns. the charcoal after the coconut shells are burnt is then crushed and sifted to an extremely fine powder which is used as "Charged Charcoal" to remove toxins from your body, also used in a mix of herbs for oral hygiene. This charcoal is edible. a spoonful mixed with warm water and drank once in 15 days removes all kinds of metallic toxins from your body. people during the 40's 50's used this charcoal with salt an alum to scrub their teeth. all 3 ingredients even if consumed internally was not harmful at all. and teeth looked bright inspite of these people consuming betel leaf !! This is also the kind of charcoal used in old fashioned water filters of gravel sand and charcoal. the water never lost the minerals in them with this kind of filtration. No UV rays, no heat used.
Please mention village name ?
