This was really helpful and informative! I am a small group leader for 2nd graders (we meet today at 9am). We are starting 1 Timothy Today. I appreciate your video, sincerity and explanation. 🙏🏻
May GOD bless and keep you and your little ones and everybody, may the LORD be with you as you study and seek the WORD. May the LORD bless your time and life for HIS GLORY ❤🙏🏼🫶🏼😊
Amen. This word resonates with me so much today. I get caught up in the process of developing myself and solidifying my salvation when I’m just called to be a symbol of unity and Gods love as I treat and serve others with love. That’s all that’s required and bringing the reality of God to our world allows us to be changed throughout. Amen
Amen to no division in the church, as the word says, 'that they all may be one'. Some of the 'nuances' you speak of are actually the word and need to be taught as such. Baptism, speaking in tongues, falling away from God are truth and not things to just be 'picked and chosen'. 'Focusing on what matters most'...... there's more to this than just saying ' I love Jesus'. Salvation is a huge deal and shouldn't be presented as casual. Straight is the gate and narrow is the way and few there be that find it..... If the righteous scarcely be saved......The hard truth is, everybody won't be saved. We can't present the gospel as a take it or leave it, do as you will kind of plan. This is serious business and we have to follow the Word and what it teaches. There has been, even in the new testament, and will always be conflict in the church because there's people and people are imperfect. Church leaders have to address issues properly. Let's all teach, preach and reach in love but also in truth. God bless
This is the 1st time I don't agree 100%with your overview. I fully endorse this person's comment, there are things in the Word of God that needs to be looked at as doctrine and not just nuances to be overlooked. We in the church only get 1 chance to make the rapture, once we miss it God himself will send us strong delusions, don't play with ur salvation, better to err on the side of caution than an eternity in pain and torment. Speaking the truth in love.
Although I agree 100% with the sentiment of this teaching, I find that baptism was not a “nuance” to Paul. If we read Romans six we find that Paul understood that to participate in the gospel immersion in water was necessary. We understand and agree that the gospel message is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. But the question is, how do we actually go from being just a hero of the gospel to part of that covenant? The answer lies in being born again. Just as in Ephesus, there are false teachers proclaiming that salvation can be found in intellectual belief in the gospel alone. That is false; no scripture in context supports this. A true faith is needed, and is one that participates and joins that gospel covenant through baptism.
Very good I am 11 and I understood quite well what you were saying
