A year ago I was lucky enough to get to different tins, Definitely the best tobacco I've ever smoked.
The hype is real
The elusive flake tamp of perfection, an art worth pursuing. Embarked on my own journey through the world of dark flakes recently. The odds are stacked against me, and it may be a fool''s gambit, but mark my words, these Esoterica offerings shall not escape my clutches.

Hello Bradley. Very much appreciate your reviews. I smoked my first bowl of Stonehaven this week. It was a deeply rich and flavorful smoke. Plan to have a few more bowls over the next week or so and look forward to comparing my results to yours. My local tobacco shop got one in and called me, or I would never have gotten my hands on a tin.

This was one of Esoterica blends I do really enjoy. Others....to me have been a bit overrated. Looking forward to seeing your full review.
In 2017 I sent you a tin of esoterica Dunbar to review and I asked if you would like some stonehaven, (as it was and still remains my all time favorite), and if memory serves you said you "no thanks I don't prefer va/bur blends". Maybe your taste changed and you have seen the light, or maybe you were being polite? I am thrilled to see you reviewing this one, I assume you will enjoy it as much as I do. Thanks!

Both plum and prune wines have been made. The prune version is not really my cup of tea, but it smells wonderful. Great first impression. On to the review!
Somebody just bought an 8oz consignment bag I've been watching out of curiosity on a popular retailer's site for over one thousand (yes, one thousand) dollars. I liked it when I tried it in 2009 or so, a lot, but not THAT much!
Have not tried this one. From my experience with Penzance, Margate and Durbar, it's probably going to be really delicious too. 😁🖖
I don’t believe I have tried that blend. I was able to acquire some and need to open and jar it up. Sounds tasty bradley!

If you like Stonehaven, I recommend Dorchester if you can find it. It's a very sweet, very flavourful VaPer blend and honestly, (probably gonna catch a lot of crap from this) I like it better than Stonehaven. Enjoyed the video and look forward to the full review on Wednesday!
Tobacco review suggestion: Dark Birds Eye from Gawith & Hoggarth, one of the oldest blends of the brand (with their ropes). It is very strong indeed
If you last more than a week before finishing that tin, you're a better man than I! Maybe my favorite pipe tobacco. Can't wait for the review!
Don’t pull the flakes out of the tin. Pull the paper lining up and put and everything comes out without breaking and lays flat.

West coast makes it so hard to get stonehaven and Penzance. They all start selling at like 5-7am our time. I got a good amount but not stonehaven or Penzance this year. Still have 6 ounces though.
I just saw that TobaccoTraderLA got some Esoterica in their shop the other day, but no Stonehaven 😔

I paid big bucks for some aged Stonehaven (5 years) and it was a huge disappointment. It had no flavor whatsoever and thats not an exaggeration. I tried all different moisture levels to no avail. I've tried several other Esoterica blends and have never had that problem with them. It was in the sealed gold bag but maybe it was a bad batch or something.
Dude, if you want any of their blends my local B&M almost always has them in stock. Let me know!
I'd love to snag a bag of Dorchester, if it would be possible. The Briary was out of 8oz bags by the time I called them back this time :(

I swear... I ALWAYS miss Esoterica and when I have turned to look... The shelves are EMPTY. (INSERT EXPLETIVES HERE)
When smoking pipes still shipped to Washington, I used to be signed up for email alerts for whenever they got Esoterica blends in, it the alerts always dropped when I was at work, and by the time I saw them, it would be too late. 🙄

I actually do not like this particular blend. I've never been much of a Burley fan and this is no exception. Penzance, Dorchester, and Woodbridge are currently my favorites by Esoterica.
