Just found your channel ! Quite funny, I moved to France with my parents in 2006 to. Moved to the Dordogne. Love it here. I’ve done multiple farming and machinery jobs, love the way of farming and lifestyle here. All the best for 2021!
Great content keep up the good work! Top class stock yous have!! I can see you getting automatic milk feeder for young calves and a lot more of them in the next year or two !! Happy Christmas Laura and to your family as well 👌
Good upload, great dog goat was a bit sneaky catching the poor dog when it was getting a drink , great looking cattle and liked the handling system for the young stock 👍
Thank you for posting the video - lovely farm setup. We have a Limousine/Aubrac herd down below Carcassonne, yet to try taking any head to market here :) tend to sell to buyers.
Ah lads.... Unreal crop of calves! Like peas in a pod! One as good as the other! Do your heart good looking at them. God l wouldn't like to be trying to shove some of them lads into a dehorning crate!! Great system with the headgate on the gate and the loop to stick their snout into. Thank God it only the replacement heifers ye needed to dehorn! Thanks for the mart footage. It's all that was needed really. Gas even seeing the different style tractor trailer. Do many of the French farmers comment on yer Murphy trailer? I wouldn't like to be trying to bid and try buy some of those french weanlings, it'd test my French!! Haha!! Is there a sellers box at the mart like in Ireland? With the covid has things gone online aswell?
Was surprised to see an aerlite trailer in France, I've just stripped down one of their horse boxes and rebuilt it. They wouldn't be well known outside Connacht, but are good quality. Nice to see how other countries farm.
Hi Laura ur cows are smashers are all the cows purebred look's like Irish sucklers may go the same way unbelivle stock Gerry 6420 sent me over ur video's are addictive 👌🇮🇪
Could add a extra board or 2 the passage side of the troughs so the goats cant throw as much out maybe put them on hinges if you want them lower for some reason as well
We have a few Angus here and there are getting more about. Over in the Haute Vienne or Vienne i know of a guy with belted Galloway and also some highlands about. We are in the Allier which is right in the middle of the country and kind of next door to the Creuse department
Thanks for the market video, shame they stopped you. What are the French farmers saying about our Brexit troubles? Winter here in force, wet, wet wet. I have Salers cows and are using Charolais bulls next year after a trail with one AI Charolais calf this year. Happy Christmas to you all and stay safe and well.
John Deere I had one 1st calved heifer with slight temperament issues, so we AI her to a Charolais bull. She calved without us in attendance. A much stronger thicker set bull calf that made the Salers calves look tiny. He has grown really well and is that lovely golden colour - will wean them post Christmas and for the first time house the calves!
We love your videos.
Thanks :)

Hi i like you Voss
Do the French farmers farm any British breeds, or it just the French breeds?
We have a few Angus here and there are getting more about. Over in the Haute Vienne or Vienne i know of a guy with belted Galloway and also some highlands about. We are in the Allier which is right in the middle of the country and kind of next door to the Creuse department
Most cattle breeds come from France so why use other countries breeds
ARE the goats for meat or milk
What language is she trying to use?
