I got it from here. It works but it my screen will go blank and just white screen until I reboot the printer. I have to do this every time I finish printing.

I tried the one in the link you posted in the video, but my printer didn't work. Instead, it installed firmware for CNC
drive.google.com/drive/folders/1VwMxSzd7p6GQ5RVwoHhlUCJpMXhC-gdx
I use ESUN PLA+ filament, but I don't think it has something to do with the filament. This is a firmware issue.
@@WTF_BBQ Please use the firmware from the first link of the description. And send a video to support@kingroon.com so that out guy can do a further check and find it out. Please make sure we can see the connection on the mainboard and how the printer works. If you have any photos that shows the white screen, please also send that. And we will do some checking on the published firmwares to make sure they’re correct and updated. Thanks!
Tell me, when will the updated firmware for the 3D touch for this printer be released, because I'm tired of testing in order to catch the accuracy of the sensor?
You can find the link in the description, we will have it uploaded in the same folder. So the link will be always useful.
@@Kingroon3DOfficial There is another problem: when setting the table size to 310 x 310 mm in the CURA slicer and printing a 300 x 300 mm square model, the printer prints only 293 mm in the X axis, after which the plastic sticks in one line of the remaining 7 mm. Considering that this problem is not fixed in the slicer, it means that this is a problem in the firmware.
You can modify it in the cfg file, the coordinates of the 3D Touch detect decide the printer volume. Modify the file then flash it again.
so i am installing this today. my cable isn't long enough and i don't see one listed on your website. where can i find the correct cable?
We will try add that in our website. Please also check that in Local store.
@@Kingroon3DOfficial do you know the length? Was it a 1.5M cable? Found one on Amazon.
@@brianhilligoss I forgot to measure that. I think that’s enough.
Tell me, where can I download the firmware for the sensor and the STL file for mounting the sensor?
Try checking the description.
Do you use the one in the firmware files? The first link in the description.
Klipper works differently. Please check our video on it, get the Klipper Bundle to use. To use 3D Touch with Klipper firmware, you need to do some modification to enable it. Here is the link for your reference:www.klipper3d.org/Config_Reference.html
Hi, we haven't use 3D Touch or BL Touch yet in Klipper, but its support should be available soon. Now its test are not ongoing. And it is quite different to use it in Klipper. If you cannot wait, here is a Klipper project for our printers, it might help you out. github.com/nehilo/Klipper-KingRoon-Printers If you are use the stock firmware we provided and get problems, please send the video to support@kingroon.com, so that we can see the issue more clearly and help you better. Thanks!
You are welcome and thanks for the details. We will get back to Klipper soon. Please remember to go over the required process while using it, like measuring resonance and pressure advance, it will help to improve the printing. Have a great day!
Hi Kingroon, when will the kp5s be released? any news for that model 3d printer?
Thank You!
Not so soon. The team is still working on it. We will let the public know once it is ready. Thanks for your support!
Did you notice that the z-probe offset is ignored after the homing sequence? ABL only works if the bed is leveled before installing the 3d touch, like in this video. This is a known Marlin problem.
Can I get the source code for the firmware? I'd like to give it a go at fixing it. I'll send you the modified version back if I can get it to work.
The new firmware is already in development, hope it will be fixed soon. As for the source code, I will ask our engineers and see if we can provide that. Thanks for pointing that out!
In case someone is having the same issue:
You can use the old KP3S firmware drive.google.com/file/d/1mSXZBLzWFwz71TwLO893RK2lJLcrCqDr/view?usp=sharing%C2%A0 with the KP5L config file. Just enter the correct probe offset in the config file, or send M851 gcode through serial to change it on the fly. You won't need to set it again unless you change the probe height significantly.
@@Kingroon3DOfficial Wen is soon exactly ??
same problem do you fixed this ? can i get you fimware for fixed ?
@@glitchygarden6973 hello xD, how did you manage to do that? if i flash the KP3S, after auto levelling doesnt show me the Z Offset option =/
It is in the description, the first link.
Sure, we noticed that. And it could be different on 3D Touch and Bl Touch, so we do suggest connected by pins. Just check the diagrams on both sides and make sure the connection is right.
Hello! There is a sensor mount in the video, but the link leads to a completely different mount, which is similar, but the mounting holes are in a different place, there is no slot for the wire and other differences. Is it possible to get a link to a file for printing, or a project for this sensor mount from the first part of the video?
Please check the first link in the description. We put the stl files inside the folder. And I just checked it again, the file is correct.
@@Kingroon3DOfficial I also checked this file in CAD, the file is actually skewed, although it can be corrected in CAD, it's sad that the raw holder file is used as a basis.
@@PETROVICH4YOU I will let our guy know that and see if they can do anything about it. But honestly we haven’t had any issues on it.
Sounds like your 3D Touch is active. Please make sure you are using the same mount like we do and followed all the steps. If you did, please send a video to show the issue to support@kingroon.com, our technical team will help you out. To use the manual bed leveling, please flash the stock firmware and unplug the pin on the 3D touch. Thanks!
Don't work
This printer's board is hot garbage stock firmware is not stock as its buggy and never works like the original that was pre installed at factory!! don't add bl touch unless you get a new board beware!!!!
You can contact support@kingroon.com for help. New firmware and tutorials will also be available soon.
@Kingroon3DOfficial you need to get these firmware issues solved, fundamentally its a good printer, but there are so many poor reviews that it is costing you sales and the majority of the reviews and complaints are firmware based. i genuinely like the printer, but the firmware is a nightmare and being robin nano, makes it very difficult to Klipper the printer with any of the available Klipper pads.
