The downside of Free park ups? motorhome trip to Spain

- We decide to have a free night on our motorhome trip to Spain (while we are trapped in France)
Free stops can be in the beautiful countryside or beside a canal. This stop is definately not any of those. Why on earth would we chose to stop there???

Pied du pont is so pretty, nice aire too. That other aire at Arrens we have used many times. Like you we also spend nts at supermarkets. During covid we spent summer 20and 21 in the Pyrennes. We love it. The passes and ski roads are amazing. Dollys doing well. Good trout there also. The birds are normally vultures. Lovely video. Thanks.

The town of Navarrenx is just off the fisherman roundabout. It's a beautiful medieval walled town. Has a small motorhome parkup or a campsite. If you're still in the area it's well worth a visit

Hey Corrin/ Paul, l suggest to stop the drawers shooting out when travelling, if possible put a little v latch at the side of the drawer that can flip up to stop the drawer moving. I'm not sure if they would be easy to make our buy but just a suggestion. 😊. Glad to see Dolly doing well. Bless her. Enjoy your next adventure. Look forward to the next video. 🐶🐶❤️🙏

Cracking scenery and drone work. enjoy your onward travels. Doing 3 months winter in Spain myself starting in November with new MH. Plymouth to Santander ferry. Let us all know your thoughts of road infastructure and how busy any tolls etc enroute please

Great vlog.Loving the drone shots of your surroundings which is encouraging me to replace mine ( it went for a swim 😢).We have also regularly had to stop to close either the fridge door or drawer.Fortunately the new van has a button that lock all drawers so just the button and fridge to think about 🤔
😂🥰one button does all sounds great ! Bet you still forget something though, we have manual wind down steadies… haven’t forgotten yet … 😬 and the drone is a nice addition , my last one is in the Baltic Sea , luckily insured, new one within a few days 🙂 thanks for watching and commenting, much appreciated x

Looks like we’ve passed you on the way down. Was at Dax Wednesday night. Traveled to Zaragoza yesterday. Great free parking. Cheap fuel as you head to Pamplona 1.31 on the road from Irun. Slightly warmer here and sun

Hi Redders's , from the Redders's . We're on the opposite side of the pyrenees at Limoux , about to go over the 118 , 117 in the morning to Roses . We've had pretty much the same weather all the way . Snow from Rouen to Orleans , rain down to Souillac , and rain when we got here . Hope We've got sunshine the other side of these mountains for all our sakes . Just a little recommendation . We've got a Dreo ceramic heater , works on 900 watts , doesnt blow the 6 amps you get on camping car aires and warms the van in seconds , yes seconds . Have a safe journey , we're stopping at Benicassim for the winter (we're old Redders's) . Take care , safe journey .❤

Haha at the kitchen drawer. We were out today just locally for a 7 mile hike with the dogs on the South Downs, had to stop coming back as kitchen drawer open 😂. Plus I drove for the first time and we survived 😂

We've stayed in them supermarkets as like you say everything is on hand in the morning, did make my wife and I smile when you drove off leaving things open etc, last year was the first time ever my wife decided she'd wear a helmet on her bike, so out she went and bought a nice helmet, lights on it etc, very proud of this helmet she was 😂😂😂, until on the next drive it came out of the locker above and hit her the head 😂😂😂😂, let's say she never did make up with that helmet 😂😂😂 , another enjoyable vlog keep them coming 👍.

I have just paid €1.31.9 for diesel in Spain. For cheaper prices once you hit Spain get into small towns, especially industrial towns. I so love Pyrenees area of France. Again try Pau. Enjoy your travelling. Xx

the most relaxed driving position... I will try that next time I'm in the MH 😁. I do suggest you hit Zaragoza. Free park up on the outskirts with water/black/gray, right next to the tram to take you in to the city...

The village was really beautiful, we loved it there. Dolly is doing really well, her wound is healing up lovely. She’s met about 4 dogs now and so far she seems exactly as she was before the attack. We hope it stays like that.

You'll love Spanish diesel prices. Generally around €1.52ish. Portugal was around French levels. Having said that, I filled up in Jerez @ €1.39😊 and then found a cracking station called Plenoil in Cordoba @€1.32!! Thats £1.13 a litre!!!The tank was brimming.😊 Prices are falling in Spain atm. Good evening ! ❤️🥰 a delightful evening by Francis wells is the music score 🎶🎼 the panel is 580 watts , really lower power consumption, most sites are 6 Amps, ( you mentioned 16 ) which is what we mentioned can be easily tripped , we have the fridge, heating , hot water and run the coffee machine which all together can be enough to trip it, so we just juggle things when we run the coffee machine , really hope that helps 🥰❤️ just ask if we can help more 🙂

A Beautiful spot you have found. It sounds like your spending a lot of money on gas to keep warm. During the Second World War we were dispatched to our aunt and uncle’s house in south wales and it was bloody freezing , our Aunt and uncle wore long John day and night. Morning Jon ! 😂 to be honest we only needed about 15 litres ( 7kg ) so were pleasantly surprised at how little we had used , but at night it’s on low , so we wrap up under a big duvet … yes the long Johns 😂 every Granny and Grandads friend , I do remember them .. but for now my wife’s tights keep me warm 🤭😂
