Your content is cruicial after a hard day's work. I relax, play games on my phone while listening and checking out each image until I sleep. Love how sometimes the narrative makes me think deeply about the 40K universe and its just, damn, soothing.
Thanks for the upload. The wraith units are what got me into Eldar a dozen years ago. It evolved into a squad of harpies, reapers, rangers, wraith lord, seer, hovercraft seer, three squads of troops, the turret hovercraft, and a lance cannon tank, mish mash of about 2,400 points. Miss that army. Never had the privilage of owning wraith guards nor scorpions. Both seem like fun units to field. Anyways a warm goodbye to you too!
By far the best AI lore channel, and it's not even close, every Monday morning for this whole year I wake up eager for the next piece of work by our great Scholar. From Wisconsin USA, with love.
Excellent work as always my dear friend! Can we get a little love about Nightlords?I would really like to see a video with your narrative.Their story would be so interesting, they are the worst of the worst.I don;'t know if it is too much to ask or if anybody else is interested.Cheers!
Now im gonna have to explain to the boss why im going asleep in work. It's not my fault. Im just now programmed to fall asleep when i watch your videos.
So if they are called upon for enough battles, they can fall to seeking a true death. But what if they are awakened once, and left in their vessels? Is time a factor? or simply amount of times they are brought in and out of the nexus. Would be cool to have a group of Old guard that have been piloting wraithbone constructs for many years. Perhap souls who were not content to just sit and rest in their afterlife
I'm not entirely sure as to how long they can survive outside of the infinity circuit, but I always thought the background lore suggested that they'd need to eventually be plugged back into the craftworld. Then again, the wraithknights who stalk the webway won't be able to do that, so perhaps some of them can stay connected for far longer? I assumed that the concept of doomseekers was more about being summoned too many times. The actual source for that point is from the Graham McNeill novel "Gods of Mars", which reads as follows: 'Tanna guessed what the giant warrior intended and said, "Tell me one thing, Ghostwalker. Did Toralven Gravesong live? Toralven Gravesong was a doom-seeker," said Ghostwalker. What does this mean? That he had walked the wraith-path for more lifetimes than you or I will ever know," said Ghostwalker. "Perhaps too many."' Long story short, gravesong isn't around anymore, but thus far I've not seen the concept be brought up in any other books, so we don't have much info to go off of.
@@Von_Langstein There's another book (can't remember which), that shows what its like on craftworld Iyanden, and all of their ghost warriors are just aimlessly walking around, so I'd presume that those lot have been disconnected from the infinity circuit for quite a while.
A voice actor creates and reads out the script, then modifies their own voice to sound more like this. They originally did the same thing but the voice sounded like David Attenborough. That's why this sounds better that pure ai generated script. You are getting real human tone and pattern of speech. Its like when I play a piloting game and I use a program to give a radio effect to my voice in real time as I talk to my friends on discord. I'm not using a ai to say things for me, I'm still saying them
Unfortunately Eldari content rarely performs too well, but I do try and keep everything nice and varied, so there'll be more like this in the future, thanks!
I will never be a fan of the Iyanden color scheme; having to paint that much yellow, and have it coat well, ans evenly, is a struggle I have never managed, but if I look past that, Iyanden tangles with Ulthwe for my favorite Craftworld, and Eldar lore. I very much enjoyed this video looking into how the Eldar rouse their departed, and coax them to once again fight for rhe living they left behind, but I makes me wish for another video; how the Eldar acquire new waystones? Even wirh what eventually gets depicted as their labored reproduction cycle, and even with losses, 10,000 years is a long time to not rebound from their casualties. The DEldar easily demonstrate that a form of Eldar cloning is possible; only some few among their kind actually put themselves at risk to allow another of their debased kind to be so intimate with them, especially if it takes multiple bouts, like Crafteorld Eldar describe, and then the DEldar would need to survive carrying, giving birth, and hoping for no shortcomings, so most of them just have more DEldar grown in vats, by the Harmonculi. CW Eldar certainly might want to be more reverent of life, and their future, but this still shows that they COULD, and they don't, and the reason why; the bottlenecking factor, is the spirit stones each one needs. They can't just pluck them out of tbe Infinity Circuit, and "recycle" them, and do they need to brave hell, and go find them. I think that could be a wonderful video! Of course, wonderful work, as always! 😊
The in-lore source of the idea that the craftworld Eldar are dying out is... the craftworld Eldar. Who are willing to manipulate others to achieve their goals. The craftworlds are big enough to house billions of Eldar each in their living spaces based on official pictures of the interiors and descriptions of their size. They're willing to field conscripts ("guardians") in rather large numbers, at high risk to the lives of those conscripts, instead of just using professional soldiers with better training. The "dying race" propaganda is just that: propaganda. The Eldar have tricked the Imperium into believing that they're less of a threat than they truly are!
Ah I quite like Iyanden, but I'm always a fan of yellow schemes. The few Eldar models I own are all in a light blue/white mix, but not too sure which craftworld would be closest to that colour. For the waystones, they typically have to go into the Eye of Terror to land on Crone worlds, which are the corrupted worlds of their old empire, upon which, they'll find plenty of relics, and treasures, the most notable of which will be the spirit stones. According to their mythology, the stones were formed from Isha's tears as a way of letting the mortals remain in contact with the Gods. I do agree that the Eldar should have recovered to a greater extent by this point in 40k, but I think for narrative reasons it just works a little better to have them on the backfoot in this way. But that's a good point on the spirit stones being the limiting factor to their population levels, hadn't thought of it like that before! Anyway thank you very much, I will eventually do some more content on Eldar/Drukhari, so I'll try to make it a topic which touches on these subjects a little more.
It's often described as being separate from the warp, and in fact, I'm looking at the codex right now, and it says that it exists in the space between reality and the warp, not within either.
Every time I fear the glorious light of the Astronomicon could dim and the power of He Upon The Golden Throne is extinguished unleashing the hordes of foul, heretical, neverborn, green skinned, pointy eared xenos and demons against us, a message from The Scholar, like a blessing "To my dearest friends"... The Astronomicon blazes anew and the nightmare is stilled for another day, the Imperium shall prevail - praise be to The Emperor, may he forever guide and protect us. ⚔️🗡️
Impossible to have bad times with some good lore floating about. Some say that the whole Imperium runs on us jotting down every story and tall-tale to be eventually retold to the Emperor himself

I love this channel loads, but does anyone know if this is a voice actor or an AI voice? I don’t mind either way, as the writing is fantastic haha

It's an AI voice, the channel credits elevenlabs, and it is indeed a wonderfully crafted machine spirit!
AI boss, just the voice though. Thank you for that on the writing, it's certainly my favourite part of the whole process.
They would have multiple living memories yet not exactly recognising the reality as it is

The dimension wasn't "the webway", it was the warp... The webway was the Eldari network _in_ the warp.
The webway is its own thing. Not in the warp, not in real space. Both the warp and real space can bleed into the webway however.
It's often described as being separate from the warp, and in fact, I'm looking at the codex right now, and it says that it exists in the space between reality and the warp, not within either.
