Macomber in Cape May NJ. Is Room 10 really haunted by The “Trunk Lady”? Is the Hotel Haunted?
I booked our room before knowing any about it being haunted. We were assigned Room 21 called The Jacobsen which is on the 4th floor. There are no elevators.
We loved staying here, our room was spacious with a King Size Bed, Closet & Bath with Walk In Shower. We had two windows overlooking the boardwalk and we had an ocean view.
I asked the front desk about the rumor that it was haunted and she told me about the trunk lady in room 10. We didn’t see or hear any ghosts but it was fun to play along.
Hotel Macomber is around 120 years old and has been opened as a hotel an out 109 years.

One beautiful room! I wish someone would come up with an inexpensive idea they can put something in the refrigerator for new guests that we'd say, "oh, what a nice surprise."

I really was too, but it was our first time staying anywhere that claimed to have a ghost! It was fun to laugh about. Every creak we looked at each other and burst out laughing! 😊
