Why do these young ons love spray painting their bikes so much? I mean I was the same way when I was young but now that I’m older I could not comprehend taking a rattle can to my bike. I’m buying a bike I LIKE a design I PREFER I’m not gonna leave that up to chance and lose it over time cause of weathering. Not the move. If anything go to an auto paint shop get it painted with a gun, professional. Or learn how to use an LVHP gun all you need is to buy one for 15-20$ and then grab a cheap ass air compressor. It’ll turn out 10000x better. Anything less than absolutely professional look and durability on a bike is not acceptable to me at least. Have fun with your new bike tho man as long as you enjoy it. Just a bit of advice. Don’t use acetone on your frame either. Just get the brush on paint stripper
I've never had issues using different brands of spray cans. Unless you're referring to having color match issues. If so, your correct...stick with the same brand.
Yea i was talking about color but i also said it cause some friends have told me their paint job doesn't come out as clean when they mixed and matched. More or less just to be safe about it.
ahaha wish I saw this video before I messed up my frame... when u took the paint off is it the same thing if u already painted it another color so basically does the taking off paint method work after u spray painted ?
Causify if your talking about paint stripping it after you painted the frame yea it works if anything it’s easier to take off when the paint is fresh. And dam lol sorry man wanted to post it sooner but couldn’t cause I got busy but hey hopefully this video makes the second try perfect bro 👌
You don’t have to take it off but, if you don’t, the fresh new paint won’t be as smooth and you’ll see rough spots on the frame. Only times I say fuck it, is if you’re doing black because it does a good job at hiding imperfections
@@lukeblackman3278 Thats wassup wish you the best of luck and dont be stingy with the paint either i get the best results when i use the whole can or most of it 👌
Sick freaking work!
The stickers actually put everything together , keep up the good work man I could tell u put a lot of time and effort ! ✊
Causify thanks man appreciate that this video was low key a headache to make but I’m happy with how it came out appreciate you 🙌

Check your nearest bike shops or buy online
So u dont have to primer it first ?
Luke Blackman the paint that I use comes with primer it’s a 2 in 1 and it works perfect
@@JohanMartin cheers bud im looking to spray my sons bike but i thought u needed to prime it but sound ill look into getting that spray 😎👌

🔥
Scotchbrite does better than sand paper because it removes paint but doesn't remove metal
First?😳
Viictor -004 yessir
You dont really need a paint stripper you can go over the existing paint anyway with colour primer and clear coat
You do you but i personally dont recommend that
0:11 😭😭
Do u have insta
@ thejohanmartin
IMHO - Best paint stripper is Aviation stripper.
Do you need primer
Oreo 69 you could if you want to but I personally don’t I don’t think it’s necessary but it’s all personal preference 🤙🏼
Johan Martin sweet, thanks
