WOW, Justin! Finally a video that is clear and beneficial for all age groups. One of the BIGGEST impediments to senior citizens NOT using devices is due to the lack of concern for their learning curves via instructions. Your videos are engaging orally and visually-reinforced. While I do not recommend targeting videos for senior citizens as a specific group to address, there are some basic methods in teaching that would make this process more appealing to those who know there is more to life than SPEED! That would mean recognizing/appreciating some of our already learned methods of knowing. Right now, I'm working on "how tos" that will encourage my age group to enjoy virtual experiences like this one. Your video is definitely an inspiration. Thanks!

Some more tips you may find helpful:
1) If you want to color grade the video entirely, do it in the beginning, so that it stays like that even after you split.
2) When you are changing the audio, wherever you are changing the volume, split it and do it to the whole clip (I know, that I can't really explain it nicely).

Could you do the grading as a preset or format before you start editing? I bought the program and am now just about to start whipping things up so I'm preparing with the tutorials haha
You can also use ticks at the beginning and the end of audio to fade in and fade out. Really cool.

I am brand new to using an action camera and then picking an editing software. I had no idea where to start so seeing your UA-cam channel helped out immensely. Justin brown, could you please tell me how to make animation like the “ click thumbs up” and “small version of you sliding at the bottom of the screen” in your videos? Please reply and thanks for this beautiful content.
its just green screen haha
It’s not hard, the problem is you need a green screen.
Just record yourself doing like a thumbs up put it in Filmora and use the green screen editing.
Then put a thumbs up emoji on ur hand ( You can use even motion tracking now, but for such a short vid it’s not needed.)
After that edit the size and edit where you want to put it.

I'm currently learning how to use filmora and its frustrating the voice feature is driving me nuts. it goes slow, constantly repeats itself etc.

I am using filmora x but the thing that is always botheing me is the watermark. The watermark isnt like any other editing softwares, the watermark is from edge to edge
