Just realised I hadn't watched the vid to the end Bob! Nice capture of all the movements especially the tnt steel coils train - what a lot of shunting with that one but you got a lovely day for it! Ken
Who's a happy little bunny now then Bob Lol. Very interesting movements with plenty of toing & froing and nicely captured. 074's livery is quite smart but those three seperate logo's remind me of when we used to put holiday stickers on our cars. Lol. Best Wishes, Brian.
Me..me..me...at last it has happened...now I can relax Brian. Love your comments about 74 reminding you of holiday stickers....Best wishes as always...Bob
SYKAROST 😃re the holiday stickers on cars - was commonplace, a rarity nowadays - fashion change etc, cars costing quite a few £ more & damage to paintwork etc !! - Ian
Interesting video, and nice to see the drivers acknowledge you. I've seen some that look at you like you've crawled out from under a rock. The interim RAIB report that's been on the net is interesting. The brakes on one wagon applied but did not release mid journey. One axle was locked and stopped rotating causing a large wheel flats and a false flange on the outer edge of the wheels. The report says the wheels were rotating when it left the refinery. When it came to a set of points the false flanges distorted the track which led to the derailment, and possibly (now I'm speculating) the heat led to the ignition of the leaking fuel oil. There had to be some source of ignition, and being diesel and gas oil, it would need more than just a spark to ignite it. It was luck it happened where it did. Imagine the destruction if that had happened passing through Newport or Cardiff stations?
Brilliant video Bob. You have captured the Class 60 at last. Well done. Great days filming. Shame you didn’t get the chance to see the crane moving. It is getting quite difficult to film at the junction with the foliage. We enjoyed your company. It’ was great to see you. Best wishes C&A
Hi Bob Another great video - thank you. I am still a subscriber but for some reason since August, I have not been receiving email alerts of your new videos added. I wondered if you knew why this might be?
Hi Bob! I'm still alive and kicking with no Covid probs! However there's something wrong with my UA-cam account as I'm not getting notifications from you or any others? I'm still subscribed to "all". Any ideas? This is a great capture Bob and I watched the movement of the damaged tanks video too. Still the same high standard! Hope you and Mrs M are keeping well, best wishes! Ken
Hello Ken, good to hear from you again, and that you're keeping well in these difficult times. I know of a few people not being advised of my uploads, unfortunately, they are few and far between these days. It may be be worth re-subscribing to see if that solves the issues...Regards...Bob
Fascinating coverage of the aftermath of a regrettable incident Bob. Fortunately no one was injured. Cheers, Dave.
Thanks very much Dave, these trains pass the bottom of my garden, and it sends a chill down your spine, when these incidents happen....Regards...Bob

Thanks Ken, it was the last time I was able to capture some decent action down here...Best wishes....Bob
Good coverage Bob and congratulations on finally capturing the elusive one! Very fortunate that the incident at Llangennech wasn't more serious
Thanks Austin, it made my day to be able to capture No 74. As to the incident, it's quite amazing that it wasn't much worse than it was.
Excellent video as always Bob.
Thanks Richard, what a day it's been...so rare and unusual movements for sure...Bob

Thanks Mike, a great deal of local interest in this incident...Regards...Bob

I saw this interim report Neil, what concerns me is that these trains pass the bottom of my garden on a daily basis.
Thanks for the video update on what happened to the surviving train. Nice overview of the current situation. Geraint
My pleasure Ger, strict security, prevents access nearer to the site at Llangennech, and quite rightly so.
Well filmed, Bob -Ian👍👍
Thanks very much Ian, I'm delighted you've enjoyed it.

It was a lovely surprise seeing you both again this afternoon. It's been a great day's work for us all...Best wishes as always....Bob
great one there Bob, wounder what could've caused the derailment? was it a points failure or was it just too much weight on the track?
Thanks John, still waiting for the investigations to be completed.

Sorry Ian, I thought I'd already replied to your comment. I can only suggest that you re-subscribe, and that may help.
@@robmasterman thanks Bob. I will do that.
Nice honk from 66004
It certainly made all of us standing there jump.
Great stuff Bob...just out of interest why were the tankers taken all the way back to Pembs?
I'm not sure Justin, I've asked the same question without a good reply.
Top quality railway video. May I ask what camera and lens you use to get such high quality on UA-cam?
Thank you John, I use a Panasonic X920 video camera, and stills are taken from the actual video footage. It's a Zeiss lens, and a superb piece of kit.
@@robmasterman Thanks, very kind of you to supply this information.,

@@robmasterman Thanks Bob. Keith Bellamy suggested going into settings and/or type the question into the search box. So I'll try that!
The 2 Freightliner 66 are 66 418 & 419 and not 148 & 149
Thanks Graham, another Senior Moment I'm afraid.
Did flooding cause this too?
No, the cause is still being investigated.
Hi Bob,Not a Diesel fan but well filmed and interesting ...Dave
Thanks Dave, that means a great deal.....Bob
@@robmasterman Hi Bob,Thanks for reply,Take care...Dave
Well, Luke has finally been caught. That was a nasty accident in your area.
After so many attempts I am pleased with my capture of 60074. The accident was indeed a very serious incident...Thankfully, there were no injuries.
