I had a brief exchange with Raphael the director on Twitter about a month ago and I told him that I was most excited for the introduction of the cougar but I’m expecting it to be the last update and he replied with “it will be worth the wait” seemingly confirming my expectation
Honestly i want random gen bunkers and supply caches you can find with the transmitter 4 random gen caches spawn and 1 random gen bunker that switch positions with each blizzard kind of like beach combing and in order to enter the bunker you need a punched card which is only found in one of the 4 caches and they can only be found during aroura and glim fog so far i love the use of the transmitter but i find it lacking in content as once i find everything i have to start a whole new save just to find everything again and its all in the same places with the same loot which kind of kills it for me i also hope we get more expansions in the future like upper great bear or maby the whole island of great bear unlocked
This video wasn't really a wishlist for expansion updates, it was predicting what was coming next based on what we knew was coming. We definitely aren't getting too much more than what was on the roadmap for the expansion.

You also forgot to mention about the wildlife refresh as an upcoming free update. Maybe, they'll include it in the last part as cougar will. Pretty ambitious year for Hinterland!
I was a little confused about this because they claim it came out with the first update. Even the dev diary for that update says it. Looking at the roadmap, it says it was released in one section of the site, but another section says it didn't. I don't know whether if it was already released or not.
Lol, I see what you mean. They include "Wildlife Spawn Points Refresh" in Part 1, but I think this is a typo. Instead, they refreshed the "Starting Spawn Points" of the player in each region, as they mention it in the dev diary, when Part 1 released. Before the DLC's launch, they also announced what content for us to expect and they said they didn't implement Wildlife refresh yet, but they'd look into it some time next year, while Loot refresh is up and will be included in Part 1. I think this makes sense, as I've seen nothing of this kind of new wildlife refresh in my gameplay.
Oh and another one XD. They'll add new visual enhancements for high-end PCs.

Like I said in the video, we will most likely see part 5 in March or maybe April and part 6 in June or July. Episode 5 of Wintermute will most likely come in the late fall or early winter.
Thank you for the clarifications, I loved your storyline and all the stuff, almost as I enjoyed the gameplay. Ep 5 of Wintermute is what I'm on and lemme say, letting it out on autumn sets the perfect conditions to play it/ watch it on the sofa with a cup of tea and a warm blanket over my knees. I personally think Fast travel is needed for a veteran player like me. Because all the updates messed up everything I've done.
It wouldn't really work. It would completely break the flow of the game. It sucks that some things are so far away sometimes, but that is a part of the game. It's supposed to be slow paced.
I hope that the far territory introduces some routes to get back to the other "main" regions a bit more quickly. Presently, I agree that it has become a bit tedious trekking the exact same path from Broken Railroad.

There is a reason why there is only 1 way to the far Territory. In between the lower great Bear and the far Territory is a mountain range called the Far Range. The railroad was used to cut a hole through the mountains. Another path like this is very unlikely unless they use a rope climb or cave system.
