Coming Home is Falling In Reverses BEST album, I love it so much it’s absolutely beautiful! There’s so many phenomenal songs on that album and I can relate to many of them
This song was absolutely confirmed to be about Ryan his ex drummer who is also in another band who they’ve recently beefed with all over again because the other band is extremely jealous of how big Ronnie yet again has gotten in comparison.
There were rumours that this song was written about their former drummer. All Ronnie ever said about it afaik is that it’s what you wish you could say to someone who betrayed your trust in a big way.

It's actually about him and ETF falling out after he was in jail and Craig took over vocals and max stepped away for a new band he's apart of.
When I feel my chest tightening from just built up frustration and stress I scream this song in my car and take a drive and its the most relieving feeling ever
I love this song. But I always liked punk-rock. And who can't relate to this song at one point in their lives?
I've heard, that this was about their former drummer, who Ronnie considered a friend and who left the band taking (or stealing) some music.
Considering Ronnie's experience with Escape the Fate and then this, it's no wonder, he's only working with hired musicians now.

Yeah That same drummer just got dropped from another band recently and i think its funny how everyone under their post were like "yeah that guy sucks" but when Ronnie droppeed him it was all "he deserves better anyways, hes such a good dude." The double standard he experiences is absolute ass honestly
This is one of my favourite FIR songs, mostly for the lyrics. I’ve had many “best friends” and they really don’t last forever.
😢 It's horrible when they don't last. It's bad enough losing someone you love so deeply, but it also affects future friend relationships, too. 😭 I've always been kind of jealous of people who've had the same (good) friend group their whole lives-how does that work??!
Eric thank you for the shout out and I wanted to give you and your fans an update. The interview is going to be in a bigger story that is about the future of the music industry, and Ronnie is a big part of the story, but I just found out today that I will be interviewing Cory Taylor of Slipknot as well for this piece. This is from the same album as "Carry On" would have been, "Coming Home" from 2017. Lot of great songs are there, like "Coming Home" and "Superhero" which both have also a music video, or my favorite I Don't Mind. Loved your reaction ♥

People will say that the song is about Ryan Seaman, the ex drummer, but I don't believe that it was only written about him, unless Ronnie was calculating the exit of Ryan Seaman from the band during the recording phase because Ryan was the drummer up until the release of this album, the timeline doesn't fit completely to be about Ryan, but you can pretty much guess by who else had left the band before that album, who it might have really been written about, but then when the music video came later, that's when it became about Ryan. Which is something that Ronnie spoke about, it's about someone that betrays you and your friendship in a big way, but it can be applied to whoever you want it to be, it's broad enough to be able to do that. Ronnie never confirmed that the song itself is about Ryan, but he did say that it's about people like Ryan.
The thing about Falling in Reverse is that it's had a lot of lineup changes, particularly because those people that came and left have used the band as a stepping stone rather than treating it in the same way Ronnie has, which is why the lineup today is so far back on the bench while Ronnie takes centre, because those guys will all leave eventually and that's fine, but Falling in Reverse is just Ronnie, and it always has been. It's probably also the reason why they don't have a proper full-time drummer now, it's just easier when you know someone of great talent like Luke Holland is going to continue his rise in fame which he has been doing for many years, to then not have him as a permanent position because you know he's going to move on eventually. That's what he does. So the song itself I feel is about all the people that have tricked Ronnie into believing that they want to share the same journey as him in Falling in Reverse and made him believe that they shared the same vision about the band, but have then abandoned the band or not treated it seriously enough, which breaks his trust in people, breaks his faith in having a proper lineup and breaks friendships.
All of that is speculative information, I don't know what's going on in Ronnie's head but if I had been through what he has with the band and past members, that's exactly where my head would be at. It's also kind of important to keep in mind that Ronnie started the band based on the trust of these guys that made contact with him while he was in prison, that promised him to be there for him when he got out, that promised to help him create this band and help grow the band, but then they all left overtime and abandoned the idea not because of who Ronnie is or what controversy he's been through, they all left to do what they thought was better, which hasn't really gotten them anywhere, and definitely not helped them to be better than Falling in Reverse has become and Ronnie can stick that in their faces and laugh because he was always the one with the vision that stood by it from day one. With that said, not everyone abandoned the idea, Derek Jones was extremely heartbroken after his wife died of cancer a few years ago and it's assumed that he ended his own life because of it, but Derek had been with Ronnie since the prison days, and he would still be with the band if his mental health hadn't become so bad over the years. That guy was a real friend.
It’s definitely about Ryan Seaman their former drummer. So excited for you to go through all of FIR. All amazing and Ronnie never disappoints. Eventually they all get stuck in your head.

@@themaster_1215 It’s not known what he did. All we know is that he separated from the band and that him and Ronnie don’t speak anymore, they don’t even follow each other on social media. He released the song right after Ryan left. Only reason I think we know it’s about him.

@@themaster_1215 Ronnie actually confirmed it's about Ryan in a comment I saw on Instagram once: A lot of people thought the song was about Max Green, but then Ronnie posted a photo with Max, and somebody commented, "Wait so who is FYAAYF about then?" and Ronnie replied with, "Ryan Seaman."

I’m new to FIR, and watch his reactions to reactions lol, and also love watching reaction videos like yours to see what everyone is taking from the music.
I was very much a hair band kid who got into heavier music and then watched music evolve from grunge to rap/rock, hard core, post hardcore, emo etc. i personally like to see if I can feel his influences in his songs because his talent and genre bending is so diverse.
I definitely hear punk, and his punk influences. I’m wondering if Green Day, The Offspring and/or Blink 182 were his inspirations, because I get Green Day vibes hard.

I honestly can’t believe I slept on this band for so long. I faintly remember the band name from my step daughter as she was very much int the emo scene. This is a cautionary tale of judging a band without really checking out their music. I personally would have enjoyed their music from the get go if I’d’ve given them a chance.
I think he’s EXTREMELY talented. Most bands can’t drop music for this long and it still feels fresh and new. I’ve spent last few weeks on a total deep dive into FIR and I am not disappointed.
Long story short: joined TikTok this year and that was how I was introduced to FIR. So for that; thank you TT! 😂
Their 4th album is good indeed but technically it is more gentle than the others. A lot of bridges indtead of heavy breakdowns or guitar solos. But still it is good to listen to.

Yall should totally listen to falling in reverses entire coming home album it literally gives u chills all the way through. Fuck You And All Your Friends is actually apart of the coming home album, side note the coming home album is SOO underrated. Ronnie actually quoted a few years ago that he thought the album was gonna get over 100 millions listens sad to see only about 7 million people have heard it.

You just really can't go wrong with FIR. Everyone else's discography: A few songs that are good to great/wide swath of meh songs/a few real stinkers. FIR discography: A few songs that are absolute masterpieces/wide swath of really good to great songs/one or 2 that you MIGHT skip once in a while when they come on. At this point it's just not even fair.
I tend to skip one and that is the drifter like i just find it commical and its not meant to be but yeah
