The question part on the end of the video is really great. And the problem to draw all the possible triangle or give reason why cant is really great to get involved, so does the medians on cardboard. I like the height measure example for the giant cactus, there maybe one improvement could be make on this example as a practical term, and no offending. To directly use the 45 degree right triangle, you literally need to lie on the ground to do the measure. If the example used is a standing person using 45 degree right protractor through the straw, then could be the distance between the person to the cactus and plus the height of the person to his eye.
When we make one point on the plane it is just a point and we can find its coordinates with some reference. From two points, we get a line and besides the coordinates of the points, we can find its distance. Nothing more. When we get to three points, there is a very radical change in the picture. It makes a triangles. When we find the properties and characteristics of the triangles we get to know that we can reduce other polygons in triangles and make it simple to understand.
These videos are awesome! It helps so much to understand the concepts and context in which this type of math is used. Unfortunately, math books don't cover much of that. Thank you so much for these videos! More more please.
The three main software tools are Keynote for the slides, ScreenFlow to capture the screen, and Omnidazzle to write on the screen. As for hardware, I use a Mac and a Wacom tablet. Good luck to you!
When we talk about triangles, our main focus is on the sides and on the angles as we can get a lot of information regarding the triangles from these two things. Median is somehow related to sides. Draw a line from one corner of the triangle such that it divides its opposite side in equal length. Altitudes are related to angles of the triangle. Draw a line from one corner of the triangle to its opposite side such that it makes a right angle i.e. 90 degrees.
Medians give us two important pieces of information. One is the areas of the two triangels, that are generated from the medians are equal. Second is the three medians give us the center of mass of the triangle.
Great videos. Sorry to see you are not uploading anymore. I hope you are ok.

Great videos! I am entering the world of creating math videos. What program(s) are you using to create these? What software do you use? Thanks!

Really like that straw example!
Great content

Dude, where ya at????
does the box have to be brown???????????? B*/
The second example you use as an acute angle is an obtuse angle. In due respect, I love your videos though.
Right triangles are very important as we can reduse all the other types of the triangles in the right trianlge and apply its properties.
Thanks a lot sir
✌
Acute triangle is a triangle whose all the angels are less than 90 degrees.
