You are an incredible person. Thank you for the "daily" banjo installments... whether daily, weekly or even monthly if life leads in other directions, which it surely will.
Phoebe, I have only been following you for a short time but I can see from this video that you have progressed a long way in your playing. I love this tune too!
Hey. The playing was totally great. But The surreal combination of Stahlhelm und Banjo... just hilarious! Just couldn't stop grinning all the way through. Thanks for that.
I am trying to learn claw hammer! These videos are wonderful inspiration to play and offer insight into how to play. I just wish I could get that first cord strike down.
I'm six months late to this party but so glad I got here. There's a small town named Chinquipin close to where my dad's people are from. Of course we all called it "Chicken Pen", lol.
@@Fitzliputzli23 You can own helmets for many reasons: for militaria collection, historical reenactment, airsoft, costume, to decorate a room, to play...
This is my favorite of your videos.. it shows all of your beautiful quirks.. all the early insecurities.. as well as your initial spark of confidence in making videos.. your modesty and humility, really come through.. I can't tell you how many times I've looped this video.. thank you ma'am!
@@phoebesanders2487 enjoy, that's a good banjo. I had a Ode Limited edition made at approximately the same time, very similar to the UTE. I believe he may have stopped making the UTE so it's a collectors item now!
@@nickhols 🤔 dunno, weren’t the bolts on the temples all bigger on the WW1 models? Anyhoo, Nazizm was an ideology, not a uniform. Personally, as an ex-airborne soldier, I’d give up a testicle in exchange for a genuine WW2 German paratrooper helmet😍👍🪕
You win this time, von Richthoven.
Really loved it.

Great tune expertly performed!

I do not grasp the lid, though it does add an air of mystery. But I love the music. Stay frosty.
Nonchalance whilst galloping a banjo is an art

Same here! (Couldn't stop grinning, she brings out doesn't she!)
Getting some pep in my step with this one. Love the tempo!
Very nice. Quicker ending made me think about those last few steps walking down a hill then run just before hitting bottom
Well done

Banjo AND a Stahlhelm gets my vote every time! I've literally practiced my banjo wearing my M-42 Stahlhelm. :D great tune!
Isn’t that the nazi one?
@@taylorborie It depends on the markings.
@@taylorborie Looks like one. Maybe her great-grandfather brought it home from European battlefields as a trophy ...

The stahlhelm was introduced in WW1, the nutsies had no say in it

This brought me back to life today. Ty.
So glad To have discovered you sharing your skill talent and joy!
Love the helmet. Can't be too careful.
Heck ya! If you're not in a band, you should be. Hope to see you on stage someday with Molly Tuttle and Billy Strings. 💜
Phoebe is the band.
Nice I got the same helmet!!! Very good playin!!!!!
This sounds amazing 🤩
Sounds good! Cool helmet!
So cute and great playing
I liked this song.
Sounds great! Hobart Smith would approve!
Thank you, you’re inspirational to me.
Love it! Your videos are great, and channel's growing fast. 👍 Would enjoy seeing an explanation of the clawhammer patterns you like.
🤩 You're outstanding in all the best ways.
Very good playing, and funny m40 stalhelm jajaj
I love how the energy builds through the tune
Love this!
Awesome!
Nice playin' indeed! 😃🙂
Acceleratii, rapidus maximus.
Hmm, I'm just learning guitar, and I'm finding it quite hard - I clearly need a heavier hat 😀
The Scrolls of the Eldest once told us: "From the Appalachian Mountains a girl will come to unite the Bluegrass fans and the Wehraboos"
would this be a good tune to start out slow to learn clawhammer?
Awesome
Do you play accordion too? I thought I was the only clawhammer and accordion player around. Now I got some competition
Uhhh … what kind of places do you play that require a helmet?
Nice
Great ❤
Revved it up!!! Great build up! Saw an accordion, do you play that as well?
🤘
great job. what is the tuning for this song?
Good job! That looks like a UTE banjo?
yes indeed!

Iam sorry love ur playing❤ ,but certainly not ur helmet display thx😢
That helmet has got to go. What kind of person wears military stuff from people who made war on the US?
Why the nazi helmet? It’s bad enough that a lot of banjo players fly the confederate flag
it looks like a 1917-1918 german ww1 stalhelm
It's just a helmet, simmer down taylor

There's nothing wrong with flying that flag.
