    What a beautiful park. Malaysia needs to learn from Vietnam. We have one of the worst obesity in SEA. We do have parks but compared with the number of malls and tall condos and office buildings, it's not enough and usually tedious to get to the park. Also I do noticed Vietnamese and Cambodian food tend have more herbs and vegetables, and tend be lighter and use less coconut.

      Fried food in plenty of oil is the thing that kills you. Vietnam has none. Malaysia has all :)

    I like this type of park for exercise. Lots of fresh air, sunlights & greneries.

    Glad to see so many locals using the park - especially if they live in apartments that are cramp. Food looks fantastic. Safe travels.

    When I was in Beijing I also saw a lot about of people exercising and dancing in the parks in the early morning and after the sun starts to go down. It was just to hot to be out in the middle of the day.

    If you want to go somewhere new, close, and authentic, try out Ben Tre. Can be daytrip or 1-2 days. Ben Tre is famous fir their coconuts and have alot of good eateries. Go there if you have time. Reach out to me if you need any hints and tips to eat. I'm a viet kieu like you. I have family in Ben Tre.

    I think the smaller portion sizes helps with keeping them slim as well. The australian portion sizes are at least twice the size.

      @davidkhai  Рік тому

      Very true, then America is probably triple the size too

    Nice neat park but I find it a bit odd that they have the Badminton courts marked out on the pathways which makes it awkward to get past without having to go the long way round or maybe thats the idea ?

    • @davidkhai
      @davidkhai  Рік тому

      They bring their own badminton nets and set it up, but then take it home afterwards. So the rest of the day people can walk through etc…

    They should have built badminton/tennis and basketball courts at that park. People should not set up make-shift courts as they please, thus blocking people taking a stroll on the walkways or bicycling thru on the bike trail at that park. Nice park however, with lots of trees and greenery.
