Too bad I didn't know Jocelin Snow's #onefootdown trick when I rode this bike - it would've been much easier for me to handle! Better late than never :D After learning about this, I've ridden many more litre bikes since then. Check them out in this playlist here: bit.ly/FTRSLitreBikeReviews
Let me know what else you'd like to see me test ride down below!
Oh man... can you tell that I accidentally deleted ALL but ONE clip of my ride review on this Thruxton RS? Hopefully I was able to hide that disaster with enough pictures and clips from the other 2 videos from #TriumphImmersion D':
See the rest of the Triumph Immersion Trilogy here bit.ly/TriumphImmersionTrilogy
I would buy an ssd, if you have an android get like a samsung or sandisk drive Superfast upload and keep the backup until you're done uploading. They're tiny only a little bigger than a usb thumb drive.
I keep mine in my pocket plug it into my phone
Doodle On A Motorcycle I couldnt tell doodle good job with the editing!
I've been loving my Triumph. I'm on an 02 Triumph Bonneville America, almost 20 years old, but STILL runs totally smooth. I really enjoy being on it. So fun!
Riding in motorcycle is like you are free like a bird. You can go wherever you want like you flying in the sky. I feel too much excitement and this is the best medicine if you are bored in you life.
Thanks for the review Carolyn! I’m glad that I called you out to make the vid. I bought a 2019 Speed Twin today! 😬🙏🏾
omg awesome, congrats!! :D I know I wish I would've remembered to mention in the video "I wasn't thinking of making this video... but then derrick called me out on instagram" :'D
Doodle On A Motorcycle all good, i’m more of a behind the scenes kinda guy anyways 😎
Doodle, I’ve always loved Triumph Motorcycles. Nice review of the Thruxton RS. You can see how much you loved riding it in your photos. Your smile told all. What you said at the end you’re 100% right. Happy Easter my friend.
Love your reviews - the pure joy and fun of motorcycling comes through!
I test rode the Bonneville Speedmaster out at Freewheelin' and that's the most comfortable I've been on a bike. The sitting position, the bars, mid-controlls, it all just works. I enjoy your vids. Good job.
Great video, Doodle! A very interesting viewpoint for recommending a motorcycle.
Keep those videos coming.
Stay healthy AND Ride Safely!
I’ve been waiting for this one ever since I saw you riding the Thruxton on your original Arizona video.🥳
You really made me want to test ride one!!! Might have to wait for a while for any riding now, but definitely put Thruxton on my list.
I'm starting to get the sense Doodle likes smooth motorcycles...
Hey I ride dirt bikes but have really been enjoying your videos, you give a lot of useful riding tips that can be helpful for mx too!! Your trip looks like fun I’m glad you enjoyed it 😊
Thank you for the awesome review,
Came across your channel by accident and loving your reviews. Great to find someone who loves Triumph as much as me…Keep making great videos…thanks from 🇦🇺🎬🏍
2:00 So funny I was going thru that a few weeks ago, being a happy owner of a Triumph, every other bike I've test rode didn't feel as refined and solid as my ride. Still have a lot of bike to test out, but it's more more feeling like I'll stick with Triumph.
I came upon your channel while reviewing Thruxton videos. Well done and look forward to future content. Be safe, virus free and keep the faith.
Thank you very much!! Good video Doodle!! You know Triumph for sure!!
The triumph is beautiful and because you said that it is so smooth I want to go test drive one thank you !
Wish I never got rid of my Sprint ST Joanna! I share your love and obsession of this classic British marque. Ride safe....stay safe! From a fan in Pittsburgh
I just picked up this motorcycle and I'm absolutely in love.
Jealous much
Me too! 06 Sprint ST1050 is my love.
Sharp looking bike! Would like to test ride one and see how it feels for sure ! Nice point of view review! Glad you enjoyed it !
Damn that is a beautiful bike!! Its awesome you got to go to this event :) great job!
I bought my first Triumph Street Cup (900) a couple years ago but just traded it in for a 2020 Triumph T120 Ace Cafe Edition. Freaking love Triumph!
Hi Doodle, what amazing opportunities your channel has opened up for you, a dream trip to Arizona!, on Triumph, it just shows your worth!, and i fully believe your love for Triumph, I can still remember the love for my 1950 Triumph Tiger! love never dies, and i agree, the Thruxton is gorgeous, and, as you found, surprisingly light, for a 1200cc machine, and you've just shown me my dream bike, there's no harm in dreaming!
That is one gorgeous bike.
Parabens ! Doodle great job !
Wow, cool bike doodle! And comparing it to a Bonniville. They were an awesome bike! And very cool for triumph to fly you out and say, here you go, check this out! Awesome trip, I’m happy for you. Keep riding! Keep smiling! Ride safe!
Great new tip learned for my new riding self. No front break on gravel! Thanks for that
Thanks for the info and thanks for sharing the video.... Stay healthy... Much love...
Great video ,,really enjoyed it.
Great video , great review , great to find your page 🌟🌟✌️✌️💪💪❤️❤️
I share your unabashed love of Triumphs Doodle. My first & main bike is a 2018 Indian Springfield but anytime I get a chance to ride my 2019 Speed Twin I'm on it; just can't get enough of it. I too tried about a dozen bikes before buying the ST and "all-around", best bike ever! T120 was too sluggish/stodgy and the Thruxton was too uncomfortable, but the ST was absolutely perfect. Love your vids!
You did good on this review doodle that is a very cool bike
I love the Triumphs now too, I just got myself a Rocket 3 2014 Touring..
Nice review I love my thruxton 900 really appreciate the premium quality .
Triumph really checks all the boxes across its model line up.
I love the Truxton also I just bought a new R9T and it’s really good looking as well just a little bit wide
Nice video Doodle.. your Triumph passion comes through my monitor so no you are not bias. Ok.. I am gonna take a look at these Triumph machines again...
Peace
I wish I lived out west! Triumph doesnt get much recognition here in Western NY but I hope I can grow my channel enough to get people on these bikes 👍 keep up the good work
Keep em' coming Doodle great video...nice shout out Yammie Noob gave you!
Ant-Man and the Wasp had a whole group of bad guys chasing the heroes on Thruxton R's😁
I like all motorcycles and that's a beauty,my current bike is a 2013 Triumph Tiger 800 triple,I have had all different kinds throughout my life and this is so far my favorite,my first Triumph and it's just awesome.
These bikes are RAD on the track. Nimble and torquey. I ride with super sports in the canyons and it more than keeps up. Watch the 44 teeth review if you want to see it flogged around the canyons
Nice bike. Good review!
On point!
I love my TT RS :)
I got my thruxton RS two months ago. I’ve already invested $1500 into parts lol! The great thing about this bike is that you can be a hooligan on it, or if you want you can take it easy. I got my 2020 RS used with 1300 miles on the clock, cost $13,000. Considering a new bike would have been almost $18,000 out the door, and the modern 2022 models are the same as the 2020, it made sense to buy used. The thing is practically brand new in every way. If you ask me, it’s the best thing since sliced bread! 😂👍
I have tried the street triple its OMG!
@ 3.54 you said the Thruxton, Scrambler, & the Street Cup are all new bikes.
Actually, the Scrambler came out in the 60's! Sometime during the intervening yrs, Triumph
stopped production, I guess. The Scrambler was back during the early 2000's, as I was going to buy one,
and the Dealer had 3 in stock, in Scottsdale AZ. Of course, that was after I checked online to
see if they were still being manufactured. Anyway, Thank you for the Reviews!
Love the look of this bike
Great review! I have always loved Triumphs, such classic bikes! The only downside is the price and cost of service and repairs but, as you said, it is an upscale brand and that is to be expected. No different than running a Harley or an Aprilia.
Beautiful bike!
Great video fantastic bike I have a triumph speed triple rs and a triumph speed twin fantastic bikes 🇬🇧👍🏻
Nice video keep it up 👍🏼
Wow really cool descriptions, your a good , interesting communicator. Also a lover of Triumph motorcycles! I owned a few and I still do. I had a 2012 Triumph Street Triple R, an amazing bike. Other Triumphs I've owned, 2004 Sprint ST. Now I have. 2015 Tiger XRX and a really great bike a 2019 Triumph Speed Twin, a good handler and looker.
Great content! Keep it up 👍. Your hair looks so nice btw!
Awesome.
I get it !! My 16 Thruxton R is a jewel, Kenny
Wowww..nice bike love it😍😍
😢 I sold my 2016 red Thruxton R. I loved the bike but at 6’1” It was a bit too cramped for me and needed luggage for work commute. Fantastic engine!! Ironically got the R nine T Scrambler and love it.
I understand dream bikes.
May every ride be better than the last!
Stunning bike, looks so... sophisticated
Bravo!
Omg, i absolutely worship that Thruxton! And now it's available in silver/green combination 😍 Needs a tail tidy though !
I owned a Thruxton and I loved it ...
I have a great bike allready, but this is so beautifull because of the classic look with no plastic feel. I bet it's fun to ride to.
I like the new look, Triumph do make nice bikes.
Wow nice motorbike idol thank you for sharing your ride review one friend here watching your video from Philippines
Great video....
Triumph rock. I love the scrambler.
Happy ou actually test rode an R nine T🙂
I LOVE my 2007 Triumph T 100 Bonneville! I wanted a Bonneville since the early 1980s. I can honestly say my Bonneville is my dream bike. Once you go Triumph, you never go back.
I DID OWE A TRUMPET SLANG IN NYC THOSE BIKES HAD BALLS EXCUSE MY FRENCE I LIKE THEIR SOUND THUMP THUNDEROUS SOUND TO IT. TRIUMPHS DEMAINATATED DA STREETS IN DA 1960S I HAD A 1970 650 T -120 BONNEVILLE NON BATTERY MODEL BUT I BOUGHT IT AS A LERAN TO RIDE WITH A BATTERY AND A CAPICITOR ATTACH IN SERIES JUST IN CASE IF THEY WOULD STILL MY BATTERY I CAN PULL OF MY POCKET DA CAPCITOR AND START JUMP DA BIKE WEN I VAME FROM DA LIRR RAIL ROAD. I REALLY ENJOYED DA TRUMPET ITS MORE MY SIXE THEN MY 94 FLSTF FATBOY. I LIKE GOING FROM 2 nd GEAR INTO 3.&4 BUT IT DOES VIBRATE MORE THEN HD A HARLEY.
Nice Rasta camo gaiter!
love the twin ohlins shocks.....my first dirt bikes were twin shocks, lol......kinda trippy how old school bikes are hip right now....i remember this style when i was young and it was the latest and greatest .....that is probably more of a trip......
in many decades ive ridden motorcycles.........suspension, tires and brakes is what really makes or breaks a machine....the bikes are all so good but these factors seperate the machines....pick chassis that best suits your need, i amost bought a triumph but dealers are being a bit greedy so have new ktm on the way
Doodle i love you. Keep going
I just got a street twin as my first big bike but got the seat and cowel to look like a s cup, i need to try a thruxton tho
Two Triumphs that really appeal to me are the Speed Twin and the Scrambler 1200.
I bought the Speed Twin vs the Thruxton. Same engine and performance. Slightly lighter and 3k less.
So I wake up on a sat. morning, get my Cheerios and toast, fire up the laptop, go to youtube and see Doodle's latest video. Today is going to be a great day, cause it started out with Doodle. LOL @ 5:50. Thanks for the real life review. Stay safe and stay awesome.................. Byeeeeeeee
Nice video👍
Beautiful Doodle. If only I was three decades younger haha ;-)
I've been eyeing this baby ... just to be clear, the Thruxton..ok and a little of you. for this coming summer.:) The bike just looks right for my speed and taste.
My favorite UA-cam motorcycle lady!❤ Thanks to you, I have two Triumphs and two QuadLocks!
Your comments guide one to think that this brand it's really something else regarding smoothness and soft handling engine, interesting!.
Doodle
You LOVED the Street Cup! The Thruxton R is just the BIG brother with WAY more cool stuff included like 1200 cc, totally adjustable Race suspension and Brembo 4 piston brakes. I can imagine you on this motorcycle!. This motorcyle has Un-Godly torque up to 160 mph! This bike defines "Streetable'.
I’m trying to decide which Triumph. Street Triple vs Trident vs Thruxton. I love all three. Thruxton looks trumps them all look wise.
Such a classy bike... would love to have this as a Sunday rider but Id probably choose the Bobber Black over this.
I have this. It's a great motorcycle.
8:59… Excellent Photo
Good review, you sound & look really excited about riding the triumph. Maybe they'll give it to you.
LOL maybe
Excellent, as always. Obsessed? Maybe, but that’s not such a bad thing. We like what we like. Stay safe, ride often, and stay positive (except for COVID).
Sooo. Now that you are familiar with the triple engine and the parallel twin, what do you like better? Why? I almost went with the Speed Twin but I already have a twin in the Triumph Thunderbird. Thoughts?
Hmm... I don't know... I think the 3 cylinders seem to feel a little smoother for some reason
The photo at 8:58 belongs in the sales brochure for this bike.
we luvs ya Doodle
luvs ya back
I like Triumph Bonneville 650 it was a wonderful machine
Whwt do you think of that honda cb4 interceptor concept, I fell in love
Nice bike
It is a given that Triumph and BMW owners are very loyal to their brand; yours is Triumph. Mine is BMW. I think the Thruxton R is a superb machine but to imply the BMW boxer engine is not smooth? And although the engine is "wide" that has no impact when you sit on it. The R9T weighs less, has a lower centre of gravity, more hp and torque and no fuss shaft drive. I think you should do a side by side ride comparison. Just for fun. With respect from 🇨🇦
it felt so bumpy after my stripler!! :P
@@DoodleOnAMotorcycle You are obviously very light in weight and unless suspension tuned for your weight it would be quite harsh. The BMW dealership would not set up the suspension for each test ride(r). I think you should do a side by side comparison of the Thruxton R and the R9T from the perspective of a short legged relatively new female rider. I much rather her that perspective than the typical testosterone driven reviews that are the norm.
@@lylemacdonald6672 Oooh interesting! It's been a couple years since I rode the R9T.... but back then I thought it wa awkwardly wide and not as smooth as Triumphs. But I could see a buff Jack-Ryan type of guy enjoying it - the Thruxton I feel like is more sleek and nimble
👍🏾💯
If you like smooth you should try a z900.You would be impressed.
