Great voice. Love her tone and soulful delivery. Only gripe is that she makes mid-belts seem like the hardest thing in the world. I know Eb is starting to approach upper-belt territory, but sometimes it seems like it's going to knock her out. =/ "Rolling in the Deep" in the original key was a pleasant surprise. I didn't know she had ever done it aside from when she did the carpool karaoke thing.
She is not Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey but that doesn't keep her from becoming a legend. Just enjoy her music or turn off the radio if her songs make you sick...
Ronfully But I don't understand....what will she become a legend for? Her vocals aren't the best in the industry and her ability to emote and unique tone isn't new, they're many artists who can emote as well and have unique tones? She's soulful and so are many other singers but she's not had any major impact on the industry except for the fact that she sells like crazy. All legends have to have impacted the music of their time? who is influenced by Adele? Does she have longevity, consistency? I'm honestly asking cause she doesn't seem to have done enough to be considered one yet.
Stacey Brown Winning Grammy's doesn't equate to impact. That's just the Academy of music giving you a trophy for excellent music. Mariah Carey doesn't have as many Grammy's as Adele but Herr voice and impact is far superior, so what is your point? I wasn't even being shady but what has she done to warrant that title? Artist regarded as legends have clearly impacted the music of their time or future generations in some way or form and I honestly can't think of what's she's done. I'm not a dumb shit for critically asking a genuine question on how a white female artist who sells a lot and sings great ballad songs can be regarded as a music legend. Isn't that dropping the bar a little bit low cause in that case, a lot of the artists out now are legends by your logic. Objectively, looking at longevity, consistency, excellence in their area/craft, distinction, originality, impact on music or culture, level of talent and skill those things are things I look at. So that's why I raised the honest question and it seems you couldn't give a substantial answer without resorting to vulgar language. Oh well.
Adele's songwriting and relatablility, as well as her soulful voice and ability to emote are what have made her as big as she is today. When 21 made it massive, she really stood out amongst the popular music that was present everywhere (Dance/Pop music was very dominent in 2011). You could say she helped pave the way for ballads to once again be played regularly on Radio. Not to mention Adele has had a huge influence on young singers wanting to make it and have seen many of her songs covered on talent shows, youtube etc. 25 was essentially a make or break point for Adele, as history has shown many artists who have the 1 big album end up being unable to replicate its success (Alanis Morisette/Norah Jones for Instance). Adele completely smashed through that with monumental and record-breaking sales. What's even more astounding is how huge her sales have been given the album market had been in decline for many years and was well below its peak from the late 90s/early 2000s. You have to remember that Mariah was in the same position as Adele during her career. Very successful, but her impact yet to be truely felt. It wasn't until the 2000s that you would have many singers cite Mariah as an influence and Mariah didn't cement her legacy until The Imancipation of Mimi imo. Adele is still in early days (she's just over 9 years into her career), but she certainly seems to be on her way to becoming a Legend in music.
envoirment But songwriting, reliability, soulfulness and being emotive are things are things lots of arts are doing. I understand the idea that she increased the popularity of ballads at that time where EDM was big but who AMD what exactly has she influenced is my question. Singing emotive ballad songs doesn't feel to me substantial in claiming someone influenced you. She's only been singing ballad songs since the start of her career. I can definitely seen her as a legendary seller, that's undeniable but I struggle to see her as being legendary her artistry. As a woman whose strictly a singer, she skill level so not on the standard than we hail music heavyweights like Whitney or Mariah for example. Those women being strictly singer. All I'm saying is Adele is definitely legendary when it comes to sales but when it comes to her craft of singing, I don't think she's impacted the industry enough and her skill level hasn't reached a level where we can hail her as a legendary artist. She may well improve and prove me wrong but as of now that's where I stand with her. (Not that it actually matters what I think. Sorry about the long rant. )
Admittedly, Adele's technique and vocal range aren't the best, but who cares about that? ... We know there are millions of acrobatic singers with incredible ranges and vocal techniques, the talent shows are full of them and the most are never successful for the same reason, there are too many, because it is something that does not require much talent, it is enough with training and literally anyone with a voice can get it. That's why the public is no longer interested in that ... they are tired of seeing these "artists" everywhere, bragging about how wide their range is or how many riffs they can do with their voice, what people need is excitement And that's what Adele knows how to deliver like no one else. People who criticize her vocal technique are only looking for a reason to take it down because they are jealous of her success.
I used to listen to her and compare her to other singers and say she's bad and that was before knowing much about singing and different techniques Now i know she has one of the best voices in our generation and she shouldn't be underestimated
Music is where I go to destress, or when I need areality check, or just listen too some real music….Adele’s ballads, lyrics, music etc, touches my soul, so emotional, I‘be been there and more…..absolutely ❤ her, and wish all her dreams come true, she truly deserves too beloved, and I know that she has alot to love too give back….that is all we desire 💕
@@Idk-ub2yw she's an alto. Alto is a choir part, sung by contraltos and mezzos ( usually mezzos with lower "comfort zone"), when it comes to the fach system (the operatic one) it doesn't matter cuz she's not an operatically trained singer, but if she was, I'd classify her as a lyric mezzo-soprano. Her voice is lower than sopranos, but it sounds very warm
Her range is average at 2.5, but she does what she does well. There are vocalists with much more range than her but aren't even half the vocalist Adele is
Is that confirmed as the limit of her range? Or is that just the range that all her songs are in? E.G. Freddie Mercury was a baritone, but he almost sang towards the highest end of his register.
0:52 supported Eb3 2:54 supported C5 4:55 supported F5 (she has a much better F5 not in this video but this one is passable) Supported range: Eb3 ~ Bb4/B4 ~ Eb5/E5 At best: Eb3 - C5 - F5 Tier: Above Average to Proficient (B) Analysis: Lows are strong and consistent down to Eb3. Belts are occasionally resonant (1:50, 2:36) but resonance can be inconsistent due to stylistic choices. Head voice is very well developed but only up to Eb5/E5, she can occasionally stay grounded on F5 but above that tends to thin out. Agility is actually quite impressive considering it’s not what she is known for, she is able to execute intermediate runs/riffs throughout each register with decent accuracy and control. Pitch and intotation are well developed, she rarely sings out of tune even when transitioning between registers. Things to improve: Stylistic/emotive singing often hinders resonance in her belts. Belts are also heavily chest dominant which limits her mix and causes her to often struggle with high larynx above C5, even B4 at times. Head voice could be more developed.
Third time updating this damn video, the last version didn't appear on UA-cam's search for some reason so I had to upload it again. Let's hope this one sticks in, I also made private the original version, let's hope this one gets as popular as that one.
People keep trying to claim her voice has changed, but truly her techniques have just become better.. and actually after losing the weight her breath control has improved drastically. It was so stupid hearing people comment saying things like “I hope the weight loss does mess up her ability to sing”? What? That’s the stupidest things I’ve ever heard!
To all the people saying she's overrated and spewing technical bullshit let's hear your voice! Her voice is real and has emotion and THAT is what makes a great singer. She has a voice you not only hear but you feel. So put up or shut up
People need to stop shaming adele. She has trouble on high notes, and WHO doesn't? She has been treated as a legendary vocalist because she is one of the few that at least on her throatness above C5 can sometimes give enough space for her voice. Most people nowadays and strugling their voices on the throat (even fluffy ariana grande), not giving the right space for the notes on the body. One more thing: Adele's voice is low, and people are shaming her for not singing on the regular mezzo area. BUT SHE AIN'T A REGULAR MEZZO, she has a lower tessitura than most (as beyoncé has a higher tessitura than most), so of course she's not going to hit Eb5's normally (she can do the note, maybe it was a mistake writing a note so high for her but she can do it). Anyways, she of course needs training but doesn't change the fact that she's a vocal beast. Very underrated head voice - chest voice transitions, leading to a very underrated (and unexplored) agility, powerful vocals, and emotional deliver to the best. That's all
FORGOT TO ADD THAT NOT EVERY ONE HAS TO HAVE A 3.5 OCTAVE RANGE TO BE CONSIDERED A FINE SINGER, people have different bodies and different voices, no one should be judging a singer by their range. Britney spears has 4 octaves but can she sing???????? bitch please
The range isn’t even the difficult part. It’s how strongly she hits those notes that makes it so hard. Anything in the fifth octave is difficult, but once you get up to like a G5 is when shit gets really nuts
Esta mujer no es contralto, o si lo es, ha ampliado mucho su rango vocal, a mi parecer es más mezzosoprano con un buen dominio de las notas graves. No se! Es asombrosa.

Her Eb5 aren't strained ☠️☠️☠️ they are supported , they also have perfect phonation

Adela is one true talented legend.
Clorox Bleach who's Adela?
3:20 is my favorite.
With Adele's live studio range and her live concerts in 2016. She is now B2-D#6. 3 octaves 2 notes and 1 semi-tone.
I'm honestly asking cause she doesn't seem to have done enough to be considered one yet.
being a singer doesn't only mean being good at singing. its writing the song and bringing it across. to move people. Thats what I love about adele
Sorry about the long rant. )
There's no words to describe how amazing she is
Admittedly, Adele's technique and vocal range aren't the best, but who cares about that?
Increíble, no solo su voz, su carisma, su forma de ser su risa, su humildad, definitivamente esta mujer es maravillosa
The last video of the concert brought me back to when I saw her in Minneapolis.. best night of my life
I believe when it comes to vocals Adele is the epitome of the term "gifted". when people literally just like your talking voice.
I used to listen to her and compare her to other singers and say she's bad and that was before knowing much about singing and different techniques
Now i know she has one of the best voices in our generation and she shouldn't be underestimated
so pigmented The more I know about singing the easyer it is for me to point out the many flaws her technique has.
adele's B2 is found in million years ago song and she did it live many many times.
@@mynameissurya19 and G#2

voice of the FUCKING GENERATION.
What generation??? Certainly not this one
She is really amazing 💜👍🏻
Adele's voice is a therapy. So smooth and stable.
Adele's back up singer Amanda Brown, is so amazing. Check out for her videos.
Amanda is incredible!!!!
Oh my goodness ! There is no difference in her studio and live versions oh myyyyy my idol ilyyyy
QUEEN OF MUSIC💕💕💕
Adele is a damn queen
What a beautiful true alto voice!
Mezzo*
She is mezzo ❤️
Honestly I think she's an alto
@@Idk-ub2yw she's an alto. Alto is a choir part, sung by contraltos and mezzos ( usually mezzos with lower "comfort zone"), when it comes to the fach system (the operatic one) it doesn't matter cuz she's not an operatically trained singer, but if she was, I'd classify her as a lyric mezzo-soprano. Her voice is lower than sopranos, but it sounds very warm
she has amazing range
Tamari Leach not really
I don't particularly care for her music but her voice is amazing, you really don't think so?
Tamari Leach No dont get me wrong. I absolutely love her voice, she is arguably one of the best singers ever. But not because of her range.
2:55 THAT C5!
In chest voice!!, impressive
Which performance is that? I can't find it on UA-cam
@@mariahcareygreece Rolling in the deep- Adele live in New York City! It's not available on UA-cam but you can just google it and find it.
0:52 supported Eb3
2:54 supported C5
4:55 supported F5 (she has a much better F5 not in this video but this one is passable)
Supported range: Eb3 ~ Bb4/B4 ~ Eb5/E5
At best: Eb3 - C5 - F5
Tier: Above Average to Proficient (B)
Analysis: Lows are strong and consistent down to Eb3.
3:25 supported C5???
@@Luzencia no, larynx is a bit high but it’s still well placed.
And what do you think of Eb5 4:35
@@GievyjiThank you
Adele is a great example of how not all amazing singers are also amazing vocalists.
I’m an untrained vocalist who can hit the lowest note and can hit a a#5-b5 easily
The best sing and voice of all the times !! The queen around the world💕💕❤❤❤❤
Third time updating this damn video, the last version didn't appear on UA-cam's search for some reason so I had to upload it again. Let's hope this one sticks in, I also made private the original version, let's hope this one gets as popular as that one.
is she a contralto
+Pat Nolan No, she's a mezzosoprano.
Ah ok and was that the the C3 at the start not a F3/E3?
+Pat Nolan is it?
+Pat Nolan She goes down to C3, although it is SUPER airy and unsupported. But people always count those for all female singers so why not Adele too?
Adele has the most amazing fucking voice! I love her so much! She’s an inspiring woman!! ❤️❤️❤️ is love to meet her someday!!
Adele had such a nice mix on carpool karaoke! Why couldn't she use that more often!!
Such a great breakdown of through the notes. Sheeesh. Her voice is special
Adele one of the greatest singers
Most importantly her notes are supported and she never oversings unlike many other pop stars
I'll give it to her, she has a great voice. Sings high low etc etc.
0:22 - B2
Do another video of her range because she had a surgery between skyfall and 25 and her voice got higher
Eh, most of the clips shown in here are post-surgery.
Why she had a surgery??
+Joshua Blackwood So now her voice is like Xtina voice? She can hit a D7 or a C7 like her
+Joshua Blackwood Only in the studio and live? Xtina can everywhere
+Joshua Blackwood I think Xtina is more better than Adele...
living legend. So Magnificent ❤
I have her exact vocal range ... now I’m feeling damn good !
4:05 2:54 3:21 4:48
Adele is 1000000% better than any singers in the woorld
I also love her sense of fashion, some of her gowns, wow
She's a great alto omg
People keep trying to claim her voice has changed, but truly her techniques have just become better.. and actually after losing the weight her breath control has improved drastically. It was so stupid hearing people comment saying things like “I hope the weight loss does mess up her ability to sing”? What? That’s the stupidest things I’ve ever heard!
Adele and Bruno Mars are the best artis of the decade.
Her C5 are just so lovely, what a voice😍😍😍😍
2019 y la sigo amando, por los siglos de los siglos... 😍😢
Adele is really great singer! And fuck the haters
Can you please update this
She's produced such amazing vocals on her world tour
Adele is very good in singing ofc and her hello part ooh thats so good the emotion in that one and all i ask are insane
She improvement a lot.
her weigh as well
+Mikemus She's actually lost weight since 21
To all the people saying she's overrated and spewing technical bullshit let's hear your voice! Her voice is real and has emotion and THAT is what makes a great singer. She has a voice you not only hear but you feel. So put up or shut up
Whitney
Celine
Maria
Adele
... Who is next?
omg just found this and i’m blessed with her low notes 😍😍😍
I'm in love with 02:24
She doesn't have the most impressive range but what she can sing at she does it better than any female singer around.
The C#3 on 0:22 is pure heavens.. 😍😍
Yes literally gave me chills 😭🥰
0:37 HAHAHHAHAHHAHA😂😂
Jajaja
The range isn’t even the difficult part. It’s how strongly she hits those notes that makes it so hard. Anything in the fifth octave is difficult, but once you get up to like a G5 is when shit gets really nuts
adele can come to my family’s cookout
@@anaclarasousa4179 she’s not a contralto at all
