Really good video Craig. So many times the weather puts off a long journey and difficult walk for we “spring chickens”, but you showed just what can be achieved. Loved your images too. Superb and thanks.
That looks like a location with loads of potential. I've been to Mam Tor many times but never visited Edale. Another location to add to the list. I love capturing dappled light on the hills and fells and you got a few great examples on your visit.
Hi Paul. I only scratched the surface in that location. The stone walls themselves have much more to give in foreground interest. I never got to see the view from the other side of the knoll, so lots of reasons for a few return visits. Thank you for watching.
Some cracking pictures there Craig. My experience there suggests that you might find the heather season is the best time for images, other than when the grips of Fog, Frost and Snow enter the valley. You certainly showed it well.
Hi Paul, I did not consider the cloaking of the heather. Cheers that's another vlog planned. I might have to do a health & safety audit for an ice and snow visit. Thank you for watching.
Really good vlog Craig, loved it. Not really explored Edale or Kinder yet,so you've inspired me to get up there. Someone once said 'its all about the light' and your shots proved that The 5 shots at the end are belters (no 3 is my favourite).
Hi Drew. It was my first visit to this area. There are many different paths to explore taking you up to Kinder. Edale is a great base camp to start your walks. I will be going back sooner than later. Thank you for watching.
Love Kinder on a changeable weather day. Made for some fab images there Craig. I walked the whole Pennine Way in 2021 and I’m doing so again this September! So many places along the way for some fab photography. It’s one big scouting mission though as there’s no time to stop to compose images. Only time to get the head down and cover the miles!
Very nice video. You were rewarded for the effort on the climb with some great compositions .
Hi Dennis. It could have gone the other way, but the light gods were with me for a change. Thank you for watching.
Beautiful video Craig. Some really great images. It will be hard to beat these images Craig even with the autumn. Thanks for taking us along.
Hi Thomas. Yes conditions like this are rare and to have them in front of you is even rarer. Thank you for watching.
Another truly glorious video, and Edale is just something else :)
Hi Lee. Yes even without the layers of light it has a raw beauty, much more to explore me thinks. Thank you for watching.
Some wonderful images there Craig !! 👍🏼
Hi DC74. With a little assistance from the Peak District light gods. Thank you for watching.

Hi Trevor. I was relieved I made it to the top, good training for the Lake District in October. Thank you for watching.
Beautiful pictures!
Hi Amir. Thank you for watching.
Great shots Craig. That changing weather is what we normally get here in Melbourne Australia. 4 season in one day! Wonderful light for landscapes.
Hi Barry. Here the weather sometimes hangs all day and does not change . This morning was a rare exception and very rewarding. Thank you for watching.
Wow! Some brilliant views there Craig, and as usual your photographs did them justice.
Hi Ash. I hope you are keeping well. It was a bit of a hike but well worth it. It's down for a second visit in 2025. Thank you for watching.
Excellent video Craig. Love the dry stone wall shots around 19mins . I see why you were buzzing! Thanks.
Hi Fred. There is more potential with those dry stone walls which I will cover on my return. Thank you for watching.

Some really beautiful images in this Craig
Hi Dave. A lucky morning of conditions working in my favor, something we do not always get. Thank you for watching.
I was going to share this video with Dave one of my favourite videos of the year thank you 😊
@@peterrothwell4964 Hi Peter. It was my best morning out for landscape photography. Thank you for watching.

Hi Anthony. That is one hell of a walk. I cannot see myself and Eddie Skelson attempting that, hats off to you. Thank you for watching.
