    Every time I watch these videos, they remind me how big and vast everything is out there. I can't imagine standing on Pluto or Eris and seeing the sun as a tiny dot in the sky, providing little light and no heat and taking hundreds of years to complete an orbit. It seems kind of lonely out there in the cold and vast void.

      Now imagine being outside the Milky Way, in the middle of the Great Nothing, an almost spherical region of space with a radius of 160 million light years, almost completely devoid of galaxies. That's a lonely place 😢

      @@CATinBOOTS81 One glass half full viewpoint is this: Just imagine the view! As empty and vast as all of space is, the striking beauty of what our orbital telescopes have sent to us is mind-blowing. I wish we had the technology that our sci-fi writers have imagined for generations now where we could hop into a spaceship and go where we want in any universe out there and discover if we are alone or not. But for now, it's still to look in awe at the stunning images of outer space.

    Triton's night looks so lonely. It's a combination of a blue tint at the horizon, imitating mist, blueish moonlight coming from Neptune, and reflective ice forming a moon road on the Triton's surface. Also, the fact it's so cold and distant, and Neptune being the bleakest of gas giants. Really makes you feel a certain way
    Sedna too has a feel, just different. The sky is so vast and filled with stars not much bleaker than the sun even during daytime. The sun is still the closest and brightest, but at that point it allows you to imagine the body could've orbited any of the bright dots across the sky and literally nothing would've changed. It makes you think about our place in the universe - our civilization could've evolved anywhere, yet it did right here, in this average solar system with a single star, 4 gas giants, and 4 rocky planets

    Life truly was a miracle, i am as fascinated with other planets as the others may be, but i always get amazed at how incredible earth truly is, this planet is nothing but a miracle, it's almost sad to see so many people more invested on other planets that don't offer as much as earth but I can't judge, i love space too

      We can't even step on jupiter it's gas inside jupiter and it gets very hot not clear view surrounded by Gases what were you thinking bro

    • @DaguyElgoblino
      @DaguyElgoblino 12 днів тому

      Ok then, YOU go into Jupiter
      You can’t, Jupiter is a GAS giant with no solid surface.
      If you could actually go into Jupiter, your view would be blocked with hydrogen and gasses, making it impossible to see what time of day it is. Also making it near impossible to know how long days are on Jupiter.
      Same with Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. They all have no solid surface.

    A day on the various planets and moons of our solar system brings many thoughts to mind. Even without venturing far, I often find myself thinking of people I miss-those dear to me whom I haven’t seen in a long time, for one reason or another, even though we live in the same country. Under the same sky, I console myself with thoughts like, “As long as they’re doing well somewhere, that’s all that matters. It’s a relief, really.” But every now and then, I get lost in these thoughts. And when I travel to some distant country on the other side of the world, those feelings only grow stronger.
    “Why is it that even at this great distance, I can’t stop thinking about you? What am I supposed to do with this heart of mine?” It’s a confusing mix of emotions. Everything I see seems to transform into a reflection of you. I wonder, “If you were here with me, how would you feel?” When things are beautiful, I think, “I wish you were here to share this with me.” When things are difficult, I find myself wishing, “Even if it’s tough, it’d be better if you were here.” It’s as if I’m experiencing everything alongside you in my mind-seeing, hearing, and feeling the world through the lens of wanting to share it with you.
    The illusion becomes even stronger when I imagine the distant places I’ll never visit-watching sunrises and sunsets unfold in alien skies, surrounded by the vast, unfathomable darkness of empty space. In those moments, the solitude and silence seem to echo more loudly. And I think, if we were separated by a distance so great that I could never return, or even if I could, knowing I would never see you again in this life-wouldn’t that be akin to death for our relationship? A state where we can no longer do anything for each other, where we exist only in each other’s memories.
    The landscapes of those faraway worlds lead me to reflect on things that have never happened, things that have yet to happen, and things I hope will never come to pass.

    Venus, the Scorched
    Jupiter, the Chaotic Wind
    Pluto, the Exiled
