AMA Pro SuperSport Race 1 - New Jersey Motorsports Park - 2014

The fast, up and coming, stars of AMA Pro Road Racing's SuperSport class go bar-to-bar on New Jersey Motorsports Park for race 1 in the 2014 Kawasaki Devil's Showdown. Championship hopefuls Dustin Dominguez and Hayden Gillim are neck & neck heading into the final two races of the season.

ALL the races were EPIC !!!! My first time at a race I got many autographs from great riders and a few champions. This was AWESOME !!!! The KTM was a beast on the track too bad he crashed.

I truly hope the best for *AMA* for 2015. I hope that there are 3 classes with international rules (SBK, SSP, and Moto3) and a couple more racetracks. If they keep the 2-race weekends I guess it should be enough with 7 rounds (Daytona, Laguna, Road America, NJMP, ViR, Austin and MMP). A 14-race series is quite a series if you think about it, the 500cc World title of 1998 was decided over a 14-race series
I guess it would not be that bad to keep the H-D series. The grids are not that bad and the racing is good. What I would try with the H-D series is to have bone-stock bikes pretty much and start a program with scholarships so non-teens can start with national-level racing, maybe organize 3-4 weekends during the off-season at different tracks where people over the age of 20 could give it a go and be selected.

The Espargaro brothers and Márquez come from *PromoRACC*, Pedrosa, Simón and even non-Spaniards like Casey Stoner and Chaz Davies come from *Movistar Activa cup* and others like Lorenzo and Bautista come from others like *Copa Aprilia-Caja Madrid* or *Cuna de campeones Bancaja*. Absolutely no well-known Spanish rider that has raced the World championship during the 21st century came out of the blue, all come from single-brand promocups based around scholarships
