Skipping Stones is essentially a steam of consciousness/contemplation of time, love and existentialism. Which is pretty much what all of my songs are about. I find myself in a constant state of observation, to the point where I rarely find myself enjoying the moment. Maybe I'm just becoming more sentimental and introspective as I get older, or maybe it's not that weird to ponder existence all the time.. either way, I'm glad I get to write songs to attempt to make sense of it all, and I'm thrilled if anyone cares to listen! - Mark
