Well a lot of people are calling out mistakes- but I am not so sure that its that straightforward- I think you demonstrated (especially with the Universal Globe) some of these are hybrids and actually combine elements from multiple logos and themes- like the NBC in the beguiling I think also references Reading Rainbow
"Details" is a spoof of Viacom's outtro "Bounce" is ABC-kids saturday morning (2000 ish) These are supposed to be spoofing "production" companies, not random intros
@@lilboilen I think it's a combination of the famous "lipstick writing on a mirror" gag from many films and Tv shows but could be a reference to the 1976 Scorpions album "Virgin Killer" that is written in what appears to be lipstick, with the cracked/shattered glass as well.
Someone said the NO OFFENSE at 0:20 logo was ESPN, and I think that fits more because as top comment Inucune put it: "These are supposed to be spoofing production *companies*, not random intros"
Machine Mode went above the call of duty here, but it's funny their digital tools were able to reproduce what were done with complex analog effects (the HBO logo was a high-polished, physical prop and most of those glow fx required multiple exposures).
Great video! Here are some additions / corrections. 0:37 - This zoom in on the 'A' looks an awful lot like Canadian Odeon Cinemas ua-cam.com/video/3Cx_rR3buHc/v-deo.htmlm15s 0:38 - Looks like THX Cinmmaron ua-cam.com/video/-peMlkWoFoM/v-deo.html 1:18 - is also a take on the United Artist "Escape to the Movies" Logo, combined with Cheers ua-cam.com/video/h3zZyPUpFWQ/v-deo.html

I'm in awe of this. The creators are definitely children if the 80s. I think 0:11is war games "shall we play a game"; 0:12 is hybrid of family ties and growing pains; 0:25 isn't home alone, I can't place it.... 1:43 tron? finally it can't be x-box as it didn't exist in the 80s.

One logo was completely missed as well, National Amusements Logo Spoof was just a blacked screen.
Details is actually parodying the Syncopy logo
wasn't aware Top Gun and New York Dolls were companies
@@thischannelisnowdefunct i think the new york dolls one is a bit of a stretch from the guy who made the comparaison tho
@@lilboilen I think it's a combination of the famous "lipstick writing on a mirror" gag from many films and Tv shows but could be a reference to the 1976 Scorpions album "Virgin Killer" that is written in what appears to be lipstick, with the cracked/shattered glass as well.
1:03 is actually a reference to the Sonic 1 level begin screen, while at the same time using the SEGA font, like you put.
I didn't even notice the iconic slightly purple ovals behind it. Nice!
Right, the circle that appear in green hill level!👍🏻
The zoom through the skyline before the hollywood sign brings to mind Miramax.
Someone said the NO OFFENSE at 0:20 logo was ESPN, and I think that fits more because as top comment Inucune put it: "These are supposed to be spoofing production *companies*, not random intros"
What company is the mayhem one then?
That’s spoofing an intro called Mac guyver it’s at 0:31
This is the video that I have been looking for! Thank you very much!!!
You're welcome!
The audi one looks perfect
yeah a few examples don't quite fit, but good job for the most part
This is still amazing tho!
1:31 i think this DVNO logo looks more similar to Men In Black's first logo
Machine Mode went above the call of duty here, but it's funny their digital tools were able to reproduce what were done with complex analog effects (the HBO logo was a high-polished, physical prop and most of those glow fx required multiple exposures).
This video is a scary-logos fan's dream/nightmare.
I'll add that 2:33 is reminiscent of the 1982 UA logo, at least to me.
OH MY GOD THANKS FOR THIS
Great video! Here are some additions / corrections.

0:22 Interplay
Top Gun? I thought it was referencing The BET logo.
I THINK the "Membership" one is the Jim Henson company (a laser etching the Kermit the Frog face).
EDIT--Either that or Carolco.
It might be spoofing the interplay logo ua-cam.com/video/ZG1wP9fSYBs/v-deo.html
Tha'ts why I sense some epicness from this clip everytime I see it.
People pointing out stuff, but tysm I didn’t realize how many references there were!
This is crazy! Well done
The gong show....good catch
wait wasn't that pacman
Very cool breakdown
amazing observation, thanx !
Wow. Great job, sir.
how did I not realise the channel 4 logo?
ikr
@@katsudon2048 but I'm welsh lmfao
I thought the N one could be Nintendo when I was watching. I don’t know why tho lol. I guess it reminded me of the GameCube logo.
very very nice breakdown sir!
Awesome!! you should load it in high quality....and people go crazy!
the "No Offense" one is clearly ESPN, lol...
I think 0:54 parodies Sony Pictures Television International
0:25 Pretty sure this is the Young & the Restless (daytime soap opera), not Home Alone.
It looks nothing like Young & the Restless logo. Dunno what you’re talking about
YOU ARE GAHDAMMN HERO - THANK YOU!!
I think on 0:54 is a sony home logo ua-cam.com/video/5u5yYL1KXuk/v-deo.html
Thank you for this!
Awesome vid! I think the city fly-through @ 1:44 was from the same 1983 HBO intro used at 0:40 ua-cam.com/video/i1NKoMNy5bY/v-deo.html
You're on to something!
5 year old comment but I personally think it's referencing the Miramax films logo.

1:44 looks like the Miramax films logo.
ua-cam.com/video/A17ZCmk29Bo/v-deo.html
The sega logo is wrong, it’s from a arcade game called e-swat cyber police
the lipstick thing was actually lifted from a porn company
What was its name?
@@StomperYoshi idk, i know they did a collab with adam and eve.
@Gemtem well i would say it was from the Gorilaz logo
Might be Erika Lyane
Anyone not just happy this is an awesome tune / video :|?
Woh!
“No Offense” is parodying ESPN
Edit: “No Need To Ask Ny Name” is parodying PBS 1971
actually its PBS 1984
You two are wrong, wasn't it parodying Hotels.com?
I think it’s the NET logo correct me if I’m wrong

Stranger Things was well after DVNO came out.
Details" is a spoof of Ryan ToysReview intro
Ryan Came Out After DVNO..
مبارك الزريق like literally came out. Little dude wasn’t even born yet in 2007 lol
not even similar
ESPN and two Pepsis. Decent though
Half of these are wrong.
