@@onemorecatch we are staying at a place for a week that's got its own ponds but it's all f1s and smaller carp I'll get board of them after a bit and want to get something a little bigger any idea what it's like end of April start of May?
@titchworld8082 it’s good to be fair with the weather getting warmer and longer days. Have to bait up the same area throughout the session for the best chance of catching. Some great fish in the main lake. Just be mindful of the weeds and the fish may be coming up to spawning season so it may be tough. But tight lines!! Hopefully see you on the bank! 🎣
It is weedy but the syndicate there does de-weed the big lake every so often. Bait is up to you really. On this occasion we were using Parker baits wafters. This was to bring it up from the bottom slightly but a pop up would work better if it’s weedy. We also used longer hook links (1ft) that we tied ourselves. The main thing is being persistent and bait up your areas well and using what works for you. @@onemorecatch thanks for the reply mate everywhere else i go i usually stick with pva bags as they usually do well for me so may chance that technique again and hopefully if i do catch i will get back to you mate thanks again tight lines buddy

Im looking to book on meadow lake for first time in 2 weeks ive heard its very weedy? Any tips you could give me with type of bait ect thanks

No worries. You could also speak to the person that runs the tackle Shop at watermeadows as he fishers the big lake regularly.
