Sebastian Jimenez you’re absolutely right. The thing is, grandpa has gotten older. I really think that’s why it’s hard for him to keep up the act he’s been doing for so long. Either that or they really just don’t care anymore. I can’t remember the exact title name, but in one of his older videos like, wayyy back from the first trailer. I’m talking 2010, maybe 2011, AGP get pissed because “Michael drank all of his hot chocolate.” Oh, I remember now, it’s the marshmallow soufflé video. That’s one of grandpas iconic videos. If you go back and watch it, michael tells grandpa that he needed to use the marshmallows (a bag of big ass, fluffy, full sized marshmallows that no one would put into hot chocolate) for his hot chocolate. At that moment grandpa goes back to the cabinet to get the box of hot chocolate. However, there is still hot chocolate in the box. As he’s getting it, you can see that he turns it upside down and dumps it into the cabinet and then pulls it out and starts yelling about Michael drinking all of his hot chocolate, too. Destroys all kinds of shit. Over marshmallows and hot chocolate that was still in his cabinet. He was just much better with his acting, then. Even though they were fake then, those videos were always way more entertaining. Just like the video called money order mayhem and bad pay day. In each of those videos, when Michael is on the phone with the “electric company” you can hear the voice on the camera and it’s clearly Bridgette and her voice on the other end of the line. That’s like, every single time that grandpa would destroy stuff Michael would say “oh.. I think I can fix this.” Or “can’t fix that now.” That was grandpas cue to destroy shit even more. If you notice that every time he destroys stuff, right after Michael says something about fixing it he goes a little harder. In the videos where Michael doesn’t say that, grandpa will just stop destroying shit. This is a 4 minute video that was staged. It wasn’t a prank because grandpa knew what was going to happen. Especially now with his health deteriorating and being in the condition he’s in, Michael wouldn’t do anything to sacrifice his fathers well being just for UA-cam. A lot of people think he might, but he absolutely won’t. Grandpa was in on this, too. He always has been. Just the old videos were much more entertaining because at least then, they were a little more believable. Personally, I feel like before, you could almost believe that it was real. With these, there’s no way. It’s so fake that it’s cringey. & it’s sad. If they want to stay on YT so bad, then maybe they should have grandpa do vlogs. Of his cooking, appointments, etc. At this point, grandpa is old and he doesn’t have a whole lot of years left. They should let him enjoy his time and have peace.
The old ones were too genuine to be faked. They always had the cops called on them, but now they tell their neighbors not to call because they're doing a video.
