Always remember, Medic was able to steal the whole skeleton of a patient without killing them, as himself says in “Meet the Medic”
As a Medic, shoot your Crusader's Crossbow to your teamates to heal them at long and short range, it also damages enemies whenever you shoot at them. (i'm just telling you this just in case you don't don't know)

Hey, it's me again, back to explain some things. Alright, let's begin.
The Vaccinator: You get your choice of Bullet, Explosive, and Fire resistances, indicated by the icon that appears when you switch to it, location depends on hud used. What Skymin was referring to when she said that people who KNOW how to use it are terrifying, is that you can activate all 3 resistances in quick sucession by alternating the usage of the Reload button, usually "R", and Mouse 2, or right click. It basically makes the medic and their patient invincible to everything except for melee.
The Vita-Saw: This melee used to take away 10 HP, and allowed you to save 20% of your Uber. This capped at 20%, so if you died at 17% Uber, you spawn with that 17%, but any higher than 20% dropped you down to that cap. This new Vita-Saw allows to collect organs, similar to the Eyelander's heads mechanic. Each organ you collected, and this is ON HIT and not on kill, allows you to save 15% of your Uber. The reason this weapon is banned in Competitive, is that you can save a max of 60% of your Uber.
Let me figuratively paint you a picture. Imagine 2 Medics fighting. One has the Vita-Saw with 4 organs while the other one has the Ubersaw. If both Medics die at 100% Uber, the Vita-Saw has an INSANE advantage since he kept 60% of his Uber, compared to the Ubersaw Medic which kept none of it. This is the exact reason it is banned, cuz if one team runs it, the other team is FORCED to switch to it, or risk throwing the round or match.
This is why advanced comp is stupid. How hard is it to adapt yourself to the enemy all the time? If this situation happens, you could send a sniper or just act like only one medic died
Not banned anymore, the old on just let you keep 20% without doing anything, but the new one is just a massive crutch.
Basically array seven is a medic main youtuber who uses the bonesaw instead of the meta ubersaw, the joke is that array seven uses the weapon, probably the only one other than new players to use it.
Also the organ harvest thing for the vita saw is the Stat it currently has, it saves your Uber when you die by collecting organs from your enemies, you collect organs by hitting your enemies with your vita saw, the amount is about 15 percent Uber saved per organ, up to 60 percent or 4 organs
And is still terrible and is actually worse now since you actually have to ht someone so it’s not good for bot attacks
@@jmurray1110 that's debatable, if you get a few good hits on nearby spys or enemies you can save a large about of your Uber, in my opinion its a decent replacement for the ubersaw

Ayo imma just explain the general mechanics of some weapons that weren't explained in the vid.
Overdose - Makes you faster based on your uber while it's out, but the speed boost isn't all that useful.
Quick-Fix - Faster healing, and it's uber is even FASTER healing and knockback resistance.
Vaccinator (aka Vac) - Gives you a certain percentage of resistance to a certain damage type, which can be swapped by pressing reload. The uber makes the resistance stronger and I THINK lets you do 2 resistances at once.
Vita-Saw - Takes organs on hit. Organs let you keep a certain amount of uber on death.
Amputator - The taunt heals nearby teammates at 24 health per second or half second.
I can't remember the stats (i.e. less damage) but you can see those by hovering over the items with your mouse in your Backpack. I just gave you the general idea of how these weapons work. Also, some tips,
-The Vac isn't really all that useful since the non-uber resistance isn't that strong. The uber resistance is good, but you'll probably get crit-rocketed (crocketed) before you can use it.
-The Vita-Saw isn't very useful if your team has some gamesense and a sense of "Protect the Medic".
-Medic's job is usually to spread healing among all his teammates. Pocketing is an option, but even if you're doing that, please heal anyone nearby if you can.
-The Quick-Fix isn't only useful for a team that can't protect you. It's great for spreading heals since the faster heal rate lets you switch between teammates faster. It's my personal favorite honestly.
-Don't hesitate to use uber early. A Spy might get you before you push or a Soldier's keeping an eye on the choke point's entrance. Just remember not to ALWAYS use it early.
-The Quick-Fix's uber is gretlat against one to three targets since you can heal back the damage. Don't hesitate to use it on a group of teammates either, it's a lot better than the Amputator taunt as long as you aren't fighting multiple Demos or Soldiers.
When you're at full Uber
Pop it, Don't drop it.

Also if you'l look in the corners when the weapon image comes up you'll see the name of the person doing the voice over when its not Ethan(a.k.a. SoundSmith)
As for the Vita Saw, it's mechanic works like this if you hit an enemy with it you can save some of your Über charge if you die with it.(basically if you up to 4 hits/organs and die with full charge you'll respawn wit 60% charge)
blutsauger gives 3 health back each hit, but it reduces your passive healing
crusader crossbow only has one shot in the clip, but will heal for up to 150 health if you hit a teammate (damage and healing based on distance traveled)
overdose deals 15% less damage, but will give 2% more speed for every 10% uber while it's equipped (up to 20%)
kritzkrieg uber gives crits rather then invincibility and it gains uber 25% faster (also it's a pun on blitzkrieg)
quick fix gives less overheal (125% instead of 150%) but it heals 40% faster, gains uber 10% quicker, the uber triples the heal rate and also heals the user, and you'll "move with your patients abilities", so if a scout double jumps, you double jump too, if a soldier rocket jumps, you will too
fun fact: quick fix was actually the medigun used in meet the medic, but it's ubercharge was blown out after the first use, hence why it's uber only makes it heal quicker
vaccinator builds uber 67% faster and can hold 4 ubercharges (one for each 25%), and you can give yourself and the user a 10% resistance to bullets, explosives, or fire, and the uber will give them 75% resistance to the currently selected type for 2.5 seconds and you can activate all 3 at once (btw, the key to switch resistance is R)
vita-saw is interesting, it use to be where you'll have 20% uber when you respawn at the cost of 10 less health (it still has the health reduction btw), but now it has that organ collecting mechanic soundsmith mentioned, every time you hit an enemy, you gain an organ which store 15% uber (up to 60%), and if you kill someone wielding a weapon that store kills (eyelander, airstrike, bazaar bargain, and vita saw) you will gain organs equal to the amount of kills they had on those weapons currently
solemn vow swings 10% slower but lets you see enemy health, it's also very expensive to crafter since you 1 reclaimed metal and 8 JARATES
amputator deals 20% less damage, but it makes you regen 3 more health per second and your taunt will heal all nearby allies and give uber based on the amount of healing done
ubersaw swings 20% slower, but gives 25% uber with each hit and the taunt kill gives 100% uber
The Overdose gives you a speed boost that depends on the amount of Uber you have. The speed boost works only when you're holding the Overdose.
If you're wondering why is Medic flying around while holding the Quickfix, The Quickfix has a stat that lets you travel with the player you're healing (Examples: Rocket Jumping Soldier, Sticky Jumping Demoman, Charging Demoknight).
The Vita-Saw "collects organs" on hit. These organs give you Uber if you die (1=15% Uber, maximum=60%). Not many people know, but if you kill an Enemy player who has a weapon that collects kills (Ex: Demoknight with Eyelander, Soldier with Air Strike, Sniper with Bazaar Bargain), you'll get an amount of organs depending on their kill count (Ex: If you kill a Sniper with a Bazaar Bargain who has 15 collected headshots, you'll get 15 organs)

The ubersaw does the same damage, the random crit thing is just due to healing being equal to damage in TF2. Random Crits work by calculating how much damage you've done over about 30 seconds, and gives you a higher chance for a crit if you have high damage. This is why good medics, demomen and engineers often get crits, because they have high damage/healing.

Comment #90. Also, the way the Vaccinator works is that by pressing the reload key, you can switch between Bullet, Blast, and Fire resistance. It has 4 charges at 25% each, and you can pop multiple resistances at once. It's actually awesome to use with a Demoknight or Hybrid Knight that has Targe, since popping a bubble on one of them can basically give them invincibility to one damage type, and even then it's still pretty good just regularly healing them and everyone else.

UA-cam memes aside, the Vaccinator is one of the most technically difficult weapons to use. But also one of the most rewarding if you can get good at it. Any other weapon that provides a damage resist goes well with it. Even Fists of Steel.

@@theduckgoesmoo on medic nothing changed after jungle inferno update maybe the vita saw but change is hardly noticeable except you probably don’t get Uber on death ye that was a thing so it was bad in casual but banned in competitive. And I overdose buff was instead of -15% it is now -10% damage

ArraySeven is a TF2 UA-camr and medic main.
The Vita-Saw is the only outdated weapon on the list, as it recieved a HEAVY rework with the Jungle Inferno update.
Previously, it allowed you to keep up to 60% of your built-up Ubercharge when you die.
Now, you have to harvest organs to do so. In order to harvest organs, you have to hit an enemy with the Vita-Saw. Each organ is worth 15% of your Uber build, and you can hold a total of up to 4.
As shown with the market gardening attempt with the Ubersaw, the Quick-Fix actually allows you to follow your heal target if they blast-jump. Also, the talk about its crit rate is pure hyperbole; its crit rate is no better than any other weapon with random crits.
