Very nice review. Sole does make excellent fitness equipment. I like the fact you get a console and place to mount a display to watch virtual bike rides on youtube. The SB900 is quite heavy and might be a problem installing and moving. But, once installed its heavier weight will make biking very stable. I also like the fact you can move the handlebar forward and back. This ability not found on other bikes.

I have looked at lots of spin bikes and I am 99% sure Sole is the brand, although there are a few out there (Sunny/Schwinn etc.) in the same price point, I like the Sole best. Do you feel that the magnetic resistance and SPD clips are worth the extra $300?
Yes, in my opinion the magnetic resistance is worth it simply because it is so much more measurable. With tension resistance it is difficult to measure the resistance - it's all by feel.
I have the SB700 it's a great bike built to last. It's very quiet and smooth, mine came with spd pedals .
I have the sb700 and well worth the purchase

Can sb700 at some point the resistance pad be replaced with the magnetic pad? (either using the one from sb900 model or an aftermarket one)
I have an older sole bike that doesn't have a place to put a tablet. Is there a way to put that accessory on an older Sole 900?
