The ventrac is a beast! Have you ever had any issues mowing the blackberries? Or does it always take them out without hesitation?

If older blackberries then the network of vines keeps it from going too deep (think spiderwebs) so you have to back up and point a different direction and hit it again. If regrowth is a few years or less then it smokes right through them!

@@StoneGoat That makes sense. I was honestly very suprised to see the ventrac cutting blackberries, I didn't know it would be able to take them on. But your video seems to be opening up a new door! Thanks for sharing.

@@golovinpropertyservices it will do more then blackberries. Saplings 2 to 3 inches in diameter at the base. See my other video of brush 15 to 20 feet tall on the Oregon coast.

If you cut them down that low, will they grow back and produce berries next season? I love blackberrys

Depends on several factors. When they were cut. What the winter is like. And spring dry or wet. They will grow back if left unattended. Probably not berry right away.

Stone goat... I noticed that you have the power bucket with grapple on the back and that you have the extra hydraulic lift active. How are you activating 3 hydraulic at the rear with only 2 factory outlets. Do you have an extension hose from the front controller ran to the back? Thanks in advance, Tony

Sorry for the delayed response. Just saw it now.
Currently there are two sets of hydraulic lines (4 singles) and the power bucket can tilt and grapple can open close. With this you loose the hydraulic toplink for the 3point. But very useful. And can lift a little higher then the front. Typically I pull the toplink all the way in and then use that set to run grapple. When buckets off then hydraulic toplink gets reconnected. Future plan is to add a spliter for 2nd set to be able to use all 3.
