Anycubic Mini Air Purifier, Lightweight Ultra Quiet Air Purifier with High Density Activated Carbon Filter for LCD DLP 3D Printers
Anycubic AirPure, with a compact body of 4.5 x 1.8 x 1.8 inches, is less than the size of a small 250ml of coke. It can be placed anywhere on the 3D printer at your willing, with a built-in rechargeable battery, which can be used by pressing the power button. It's especially compact with ANYCUBIC Photon Mono X Printers.
High Density Activated carbon has strong adsorption performance and filtering effect. Anycubic Air Purifier+ uses a high-density activated carbon filter with a thickness of 18 mm and a weight of 17 grams, which can effectively absorb the odor generated by the resin during the 3D printing process.
n order to make the activated carbon fully effective, the Anycubic Air Purifier+ is equipped with a high-quality fan: with a high speed of 5,000 rpm, ≤ 40 decibels of operating noise, and ≤ 30,000 hours of operating life. Faster air circulation, lower noise and more stable operation.
The high-density activated carbon filter element of the Anycubic Air Purifier+ has a replaceable design. The single activated carbon filter element can work continuously for 3-6 months. After the filter element life expires, the filter element can be easily replaced by simply removing the top cover. Replace the filter element in time, so that you can always breathe fresh air and keep your body healthy during 3D printing.
The Anycubic Air Purifier+ has a built-in high-quality, rechargeable 18650 lithium battery with a 2,000mAh battery capacity. Anycubic Air Purifier+ will keep you clean even when you need to continuously print a large model.

For filters on these, just buy some activated carbon at your local pet store. It's usually sold for aquarium filters, but you could print a small enclosure for them, and use them here with no problem.

I think a better test would have been to put these in the machine before even starting it so the fumes didn't have a chance to build up. I have to wonder if you were smelling residual smell from before you turned them on.

I have the new Elegoo Saturn 2 now and it comes with a tall version of carbon filter which is 3 times more tall than these have in them.
With the Elegoo unit there is a special usb port built in the back left corner of the base inside the cover of the Saturn 2 you plug the carbon filter unit in there.
Well, All I can say is mine don't make any difference at all to the smell from the Saturn 2 and the unit led lit up green when plugged in so yes it runs.
I use the Elegoo water washable resin so lower odor than the normal resin and no IPA needed to clean.
I even had the tank fully cleaned and the build plate too and even leaving the printer turned on with no resin in it and the filter plugged in and running it still stinks of resin.
Yes I removed the plastic bag from the tall carbon filter block before placing it in the filter unit.
Plus Elegoo advertised that we could buy replacement tall carbon blocks for the unit I use. But they don't sell them even months after the Saturn 2 was released?
I searched online and there is a few companies whom do sell the small blocks of filter carbon seen here. Even if mine started working I would need 3 blocks to fill this taller unit.
Not good Elegoo having a carbon tall unit that I've found don't do the job. I saw a review of the Elegoo version of these rechargeable two units which state they work.

a pity that the carbon filters cannot be ordered. (at least not in Europe / the Netherlands) I checked with the seller and he says: 'there is an import restriction on carbon filters from China'. so they cannot be imported into europe. apparently this limitation also applies to other countries in the world. strange that they can be entered with the product but not separately. greetings from the Netherlands

Can they also be used for soldering as a fume absorber?

Why doesn't Anycubic sell them !! After all its their product. ? I couldn't see it on their website. Under accessories the complete unit is listed , indicating to me they don't sell spare filters.

Have you tried with standard resin? how safe is it?

Letting the printer build up before putting the carbon filters in, isn't how you get effective filtration, it's basic ventilation design.

Are the carbon filters replaceable or does the whole units have to be replaced? Thanks

@@zora_tech i googled around and cant seem to see any carbon filter replacements sold separately. I asked because I saw other comments asking the same thing on elegoo air filters as well on amazon comment section.

    • @zora_tech
      @zora_tech 2 роки тому +1

@@redone823 ah so I thought you just wanted to know if they were replaceable. But what you were asking is if you can buy the replaceable filters separately. I don't think these are very popular just yet so your best bet would be trying to find them on a Chinese vender since they are most likely to be made in China. But again if they aren't selling a lot of them then I doubt anyone would be interested in just selling the filters.

@@zora_tech The fact that they have been produced and sold means somewhere out there are a lot of carbon filters, sitting around in a crate in a warehouse. Not offering them up for sale because of low sales numbers of the units when the low sales numbers is due to no replacement filters is dumb. If you wanna sell something that has replaceable parts, make them replaceable. No wonder they dont sell.

Why are these so shit that is my question.
No idea what the lights mean. And they dont mean the same thing at all times.
Turns off randomly, sometimes plugged in it shuts off and then when I unplug it, it turns on.
These are so annoying but when theyre working they are surprisingly effective.
