  • Here Is The Extremely Easy Way To Add INTRO and OUTRO Videos To Your Live Stream Videos On Streamyard. StreamYard Works With Facebook, UA-cam, LinkedIn, Periscope, Twitch, and Custom RTMP Outputs. Learn more about Streamyard: streamyard.com...
    This is the live video platform that I use on my Christmas on Crestline channel. Streamyard allows you to stream to multiple platforms simultaneously. Streamyard is one of the easiest ways to create professional live streams. You can conduct meetings, video chat with friends and family, have virtual social gatherings, etc.
    At first, I was confused on how to add my channel's intro video. I was unable to locate any UA-cam tutorials on how to add it so I figured I'd help everyone out and film a short How-To. I hope this helps you out!!!
    Here is the link to the fine folks over at Streamyard: streamyard.com/
    720P Quality Improvements: As of this morning (8/3/20), they have greatly improved the picture quality of 720P broadcasts on all plans (Free, Basic, Pro). Your camera, screen share, and video overlays will all look better.
    1080P (Full HD) Option: Professional users can now broadcast in 1080p! They think the 720P improvements will be plenty for most users, but if you would like a trial of 1080p, go to this link (streamyard.com...) To set your broadcast to 1080, enter the studio, click the settings wheel on right side of the page, and set the stream to 1080.
    More Destinations: Basic users can now multistream to an additional destination (3 total), and Professional users can multistream to 8 destinations.
    More Participants: Basic and Professional users can now have up to 10 guests on screen (up from 6)
    Recordings Saved Longer: Basic and Professional users will now have access to their recordings for 15 days
    If you are a fan of Christmas light shows you can help support us on Patreon: / christmasoncrestline This will get you early access to videos, access to videos that we do not publish on UA-cam, and you will receive Christmas on Crestline merchandise!!!

      @@Vandalia1998 Ah, that'll get ya. I've found that 8 seconds is about the longest into it will accept. One solution is to have a special/unique intro for your lives vs your normal intro. That way you can create something that is both neat for the viewer and something that fits the file limitations.

    Might I suggest how I start with an intro video-it’s a bit simpler: I add myself to the stream first. I then click on the video and then Start Broadcast (you forgot to mention that). My video happens to be a countdown, so I don’t mind if a second or two are missed. If you want to make sure that the audience sees your entire intro, then you’ll want to click Start Broadcast and then click on your video. I’ve done it that way, too. The video plays and when it ends, you’re there, on camera and ready to go. (In other words, you don’t have to bother removing the video when it’s done. It automatically switches to screen view.)

    Can you do more videos using StreamYard!! I tried using my camera as my webcam and it didn’t work! I’m using the ultra sound mini recorder! When it was time to add my self to the stream in couldn’t!! Do you know what was wrong

    • @ChristmasOnCrestline
      @ChristmasOnCrestline  4 роки тому +1

      I certainly can! Two thoughts come to mind. The most likely issue is you need to install an updated driver for your recorder. I had the exact same issue a few months ago with my Elgato - Cam Link 4K (similar to your recorder). I found my driver was somehow deleted from my computer. Everything instantly worked once I installed a new driver from the Elgato website. The other possible issue would be you need to switch out your cord. Let me know if this helps Charnell.

      Hey there! I've got you! I just checked out your live stream and I think I have it figured out. While your intro is playing, your personal mic is live. Your mic's audio has primary audio and is canceling out your intro's audio. This is a very simple fix! All you need to do is leave yourself "off the stage" until the video is done playing and then immediately click the "Add to stage" so it's timed well. There may be a simple setting that you have clicked that also solves the problem but leaving yourself off the stage until the intro plays out is another work around for ya!

    Hello host how to add intro after the live streaming or streamed video?

    • @ChristmasOnCrestline
      @ChristmasOnCrestline  3 роки тому

      Hello, Flor, I the Broadcast Studio, have your intro video already uploaded and ready to go by being on the "Brand" page (located on the right side of the screen). Then you hit the "Go Live" button. That will give you a 3-second leeway for you to click on your video for it to play. The video should begin playing within less than 1 second so you need to time it about a 1-2 second delay. Once the video is just about to be over (1 second left to play), you then place the mouse over the video of you (bottom left of the screen). Hoovering the mouse there will reveal the "Add to stream" button. Clicking on that will add you to the viewer's screen and it will appear to be a flawless transition.
      For the outro, you do the opposite. You play the outro video, then remove yourself from the screen, and click the end button on the top right to stop streaming.
      I hope that helps you.

    • @ChristmasOnCrestline
      @ChristmasOnCrestline  4 роки тому

      Hey there, Amber. You can in fact store it there for later use. Once you upload the video it stays there to use in future videos until you delete it. You get it on and off the screen simply by clicking on it. If it is an intro video, the video's end screen will remain on the screen until you add yourself to the stream or until you give the viewer another video to watch. If you play the video during your Livestream after you've added yourself to the screen then the video will remove itself from the screen automatically and the viewer will see you again once the video is over. I hope that helps. Let me know should you have other questions!

      @@marcjacob424 Ah, that's one that unless you already know how to do it, itis a bit difficult to figure out. The way to do it is to have a video uploaded in the Broadcast Studio's "Video Clips" area (These videos can be as long as 5 mins). The video, usually your intro video but some people use a countdown video, will need to end with a "fade out". So, the first thing is to start your video then immediately hit your "Go Live" button. Once you are live and your video is playing, you click on your image in the lower left of the screen and hit the "Add To Steam" button that will pop up as you place your mouse over your image. This adds yourself to the live stream BUT it does not show you to your audience until the video fades out. Once the video fades out it appears as if you have faded in. I hope this helps, Marc. Hi, how to solv block/band guest

    • @ChristmasOnCrestline
      @ChristmasOnCrestline  4 роки тому

      You have to block them while the show is live. That's the trick. You have to be in the "Broadcast Studio" then go to "settings" (which is located on the right-hand side of the screen). Click on "Guests" and there it will tell you who you have previously banned. That doesn't stop the person from simply jumping back on by using a different UA-cam account though but it does monitor who you have banned.

      Unfortunately, they just recently changed that, Scott. I just created a new free SY account to test it and see if there was a workaround but I couldn't find one for you. For me and my show, it is worth the $5 a week ($20 a month) for the SY upgrade. They have a Townhall style show on their YT channel every Sunday at 8pm CST. The two owners are on the show and answer most of everyone's questions. I hope this information helps in some small way.

    • @ChristmasOnCrestline
      @ChristmasOnCrestline  4 роки тому

      @@animal6039 @Animal you start by logging into your StreamYard (SY) account, then click on "Create Broadcast" then select which of your social media accounts you'd like to utilize. For this example, let's say UA-cam (YT). Once you've selected your YT account you will be asked to type in a title, description, and select a privacy level. Since you stated you want to "figure out how can i record like an interview and play it back" you will select "Private" . You can always publish the video to the world by selecting "public" on YT later through your Creator Studio. If this is a virtual interview and you need help on how to invite the guest to be in your interview, just let me know.

      @@ChristmasOnCrestline that makes sense.. Now lets say when i play it back later.. obviously i will have public on on my platforms for the live stream.. do i need to change the recorded interview to public?.. and Also.. how long to i have do do my recorded interview.. 15min, 20 min?..

    • @ChristmasOnCrestline
      @ChristmasOnCrestline  4 роки тому

      @@animal6039 If you've recorded your interview to your YT channel then you only need to change it to "public" on YT. This is done through your YT Studio. The recording length depends upon your SY plan. The free version is live videos only. The basic plan includes videos recorded up to 4 hrs in length. The Pro plan includes videos up to 8 hrs long.

    Hi Charlie, thank you for your tutorials. Can I add a widget / or something like that to my live-streams on StreamYard so people can donate to a charity while I am performing?

      I believe you can do that through a link via Streamlabs in the chat area while live-streaming on Streamyard.
