Question of the Day ⚡ Do you have any questions about Streamyard? Let us know! ******* 📌Get $10 OFF your first month of StreamYard HERE ➡️bit.ly/thinkstreamyard
I had a guest come into my live stream and I couldn't here him. I have a Boya microphone that I had to unplug and speak through the computer. What do you recommend here? Also do you have to manually click on the countdown or does it do it automatically. If I am asking interview questions is there a way to have those display for both parties verses looking down and notes? Thank you?
Hey there :) I hope someone can assist, I just finished my stream but it did not upload it on my channel, how long does it take for the video to be uploaded by Streamyard onto my channel? :) Love you guys!
When I first started my channel, I was skeptical of how difficult it was to continuously push out content Every. Single. Week. I had sleepless nights, the money I spent on filming equipment seemed like a waste, and I overall had no motivation to grow this channel... but I kept focused. Not only did I listen to the feedback, I learnt from my mistakes, focused on a niche and, most importantly, stayed consistent. Now... my channel is thriving more than I ever expected. If I can do it, you can too!
Ohhh, so that's how Sean was doing the Zoom In and Zoom Out with his presentations. I often thought," Wow, I would like to know how to do that". Now, I know Streamyard is the answer! I love it. Thank you, Tony, for walking us through! I appreciate it!
Tony! First off I wanted to tell you this video was the BEST tute for me to watch the day AFTER my first LIVE Stream using Stream Yard.....yes, we had a ball, but the audio was a disaster! lol. I have learned what went wrong, how to fix it and make the next one flawless! Thanks so much for sharing this 'so easy (and 100% worked as shown) to follow and learn video! This is why you guys are my Tech Teachers! Richard from Nightmares, Tears, Anyone?
Thanks Tony! I am a little late to live streaming game, but I am ready to level up and start streaming. Went all in with Streamyard with your affiliate link; time to Zoom to bed. Can't wait to try this out and see how the viewers respond to a live, especially live Q&A podcast 😀
Yes, they do! They convinced me to start posting videos on my UA-cam channel. So here I am starting messy and starting before I'm ready, then binge-watching their past and present videos. It's really helpful!
Great video! Can you have someone else control the features like bringing on a guest, overlaying comments, monitoring chat, so your host can focus on hosting? I'm assuming two people would have to log into the account in order to do so?
This is amazing Tony 🔥 Been using StreamYard for close to 7 Months now but Problems are always experienced from time to time especially with audio so this was pretty helpful! ✅
Thanks Glen! One of the things that was added even after the taping of this video is the ability to adjust the volume of your guests mic. if you click the three dots on their thumbnail you can now adjust their volume if they are too loud or quiet. -Tony
Tony was Totally on Point. So Helpful. I have been scrolling think media for the past couple days. Trying to get my stuff together try to start a channel & livestream. This was very helpful! TTFN.
Hi Tony. Thank you for posting this video. You did a fabulous job on it! I have a few questions. If I wanted to record a Streamyard video instead of doing it "live", I suppose that's an option, eh? I would think that would also be a great way to practice using some of the different options you talked about (i.e. adding comments, changing the background, switching back and forth from Screen Share to only one active screen). You guys at Think Media are the best. I think this tutorial is even better than the ones I watched that Streamyard did on their own product. Anyway, thank you again.
Great vid bro - you're very likeable. Just started with Streamyard 2 days ago... and it all seems pretty intuitive once you get a few streams under your belt. The question i have is if it's possible to use your avatar along with the leaf/blue/etc backgrounds that show up when you take yourself off the screen, share a screen or have a guest. So far, Im only able to have a solid black background when i show my avatar pulsating to the sound of my voice. Thanks!!
Same here. I came across Think Media, and it convinced me to start uploading videos on UA-cam. Here I am starting before I'm ready and starting messy, but I'm learning each step of the process.
Next day since this excellent video was posted by Tony, so today is the15th. I wanted to review this video again. And I made a comment, but what stands out is your audio work. Masterful work. This video will serve well, too, because I had interest in live streams, but shelved that concept, because I thought it would be to much. Tony put a descriptive blanket around everything to expect and how to proceed. I'm confident I was very well informed. Thanks again Tony
Always find your content inspiring and value filled! Just getting my channel rolling! Hope everyone has an amazing day and keep following your dreams! 😀
Hi Think Media...enjoy your channel. New to Streamyard...so still learning. But I have a question....I haven't seen anyone cover this or if it's possible. I want to make a little more dynamic.....so if I have 2 to 3 guests on a stream and I am using overlays. If I switch to a solo few or a different few....is there a way to have the overlays change with the switch to a different view?
shout out tony. i watched your whole video about streamyard & i just want to say thank you for the knowledge you shared on how to use just like me a newbe youtuber.
So can you pre-configure multiple visual layouts and have them cued up in order at the bottom of your window? It looks like you can. But, can, instead of having to use the mouse, is there a way to cue those layouts during the stream with KEYBOARD KEYS? That would a big feature request if you don't have that yet.
Great video and content! I have a question. How do you move from streaming through streamyard onto UA-cam but also putting it on a non-visual platform like Spotify or Google podcasts?
Great video! Would this be a good option to only record a video get all of the benefits of an screen share, logo watermark, overlay etc. and then make edits and upload as a regular video as opposed to going live?
i really learned so much listening to you. the first time i tried using it, it didn't go well but i'll give it another try🙏. i have subscribe to your channel
Hey! This is for anyone. I was just wondering about audio? What if someone you were interviewing is not tech savvy & just uses their phone or laptop audio? Is it good enough? Can you use something like CleanFeed or any other options if need be?
Thanks for this value. Am so happy watching this video but I couldn't see the link to share to my viewers. How do my viewers join the webinar without the link? I will love to hear from you. Thanks so much
Couple questions. Do you have to stream on Stream yard or can I record add my text and save to uploads later? Can I export my audio only to be uploaded to a podcast?
I just did my first stream on StreamYard this week across UA-cam, LinkedIn, and Facebook. About 8 minutes in, trolls started making sexually explicit comments on the Facebook stream and it seemed super, super targeted. Almost like they are exploiting a loophole of some sort. It then disconnected from Facebook and wouldn't reconnect so I couldn't delete the comments or fix anything until after I finished the stream. Guess I'll need to recruit some mods.
Thank you for all of this info! How do we set up a countdown, so that it auto counts down? We are finding we have to go live, then click 'countdown' in order to get that going. Is there an auto option?
Great video Tony thanks for all the tips I also watched the one Sean did on streaming to UA-cam I just got my microphone and upgraded my streamyard account and I'm going to do my first live stream this Saturday hopefully.
Super helpful video! Thank you! How would I get a slide presentation to upload to SY? Is this available with the screen share? Trying to figure this out before doing my first broadcast with this platform.
when connected to 3 destinations (linkedin, FB page, and FB personal) will you see all comments from those 3 destinations in the comments section of stream yard?
This tutorial is awesome but one thing needs to be added that when you are done with live stream then how to end the live stream on your destination but still stay in the studio?

If you want to use streamyard to pre-record and then upload to "live stream". How do you do that?
Thanks for sharing, most helpful information I’ve ever gotten in just 20 minutes 👏🏽
Can I use this to just record my interviews without live streaming it then post the video? I am not ready to livestream, but I hate zoom.

Me! I just officially uploaded my first vlog.
