Hi Wayne, as for the belts they ship for this engine overtime they just fall out. They just break so I replaced them same size O-rings that will work perfect for the belts. That way you don’t see a piece of rubber sitting on the floor of your display case.
Wow now you have two Delorean time machines and I have not even finished the Ecto one this model was the first one that I wanted but it was out of stock so I had to get the Ecto one instead and it is taking a long time to complete
I remember this stage well, Did all this work and I can't even see the engine any more, don't forget to leave off the fuel injector manifold if you are doing the 1885 model 😉 Also annoyingly I never got my t-shirt, out if stock when eaglemoss was doing it and didn't have enough packs to receive from Fanhome 😢
The Delorean was always my fav car I’ve watched a show called cars that build America and they talked about delorean also wheeler dealer and I rod in one when I was 13
hi wayne deagostini were brefly showing a new starship build but keeps vanishing of website looks epic i put it on my community tab build is looking great wayne and i have a t shirt simular to your one i baught from australia and inported it lovley shirt you got ;)
For the hoses, what’s the glue you used? I couldn’t read the label on the bottle. Thanks for all the hard work! You make the hobby easy and even more fun to do.
6:18 - I don't get why they don't have you putting these pieces in before mounting the whole section to the engine. that would allow you to lay the piece flat on the ground. I think I needed to use glue to keep the spark plug lines connected to the engine pieces.
Those actually stay pretty well without glue, after a while they get a bit of 'memory' and don't have much trouble staying in place. I had more issue with the dipstick actually, especially when it comes time to flip the car over. Fortunately that one's easy to put back in place after.
The transmission brackets that came with my pack are different than the ones you have and the ones in the instruction booklet. I'll be contacting Fanhome. Not sure if there was a change made or if they're just the wrong brackets?
Just wanted to update my previous videos. They look dated now and I have loads of new cameras. I have a lot more experience now too so can help new builders from avoiding mistakes I made first time round.
@@WorldofWayneUK Don't forget when you're done this gives you two looks you can pick from between the 4 versions when it comes time to put them up for display. (1, 2, 3-whitewall, 3-train)
Hi Wayne.. a quick question re the missing starter motor. As Fanhome sent you the entire stage does that mean you have spares in case anyone else is missing a part?
I'm right behind you. In fact, my Pack 6 is late hoping it ships soon. Question though: Of all the cars you've built with rubber-band-type fan belts. Have they ever deteriorated leaving bits of under the car?
I’ve been thoroughly enjoying all of your builds for over a year now. But there is one thing that I was wondering about.Did you do a post on the “Explorers” craft? I’ve looked for it , but can’t find it.
The hoses in this pack ARE A NIGHTMARE. I tried several types of glues and they fall off. I'm just taking them off and putting them where they belong in the rubbish.
They are a whole lot easier if you put crafting wire through them. Then they easily take the shape you want them to amd they stay in place much easier. It's what I did. If you don't have access to modeling wire then the wire in a twist-tie will do the trick as well. Just strip it down to bare wire and then work it in. Make it just a bit shorter than the house to allow room for the posts that the hoses attach to.
I didn't have much issue with the hoses; after you finally get them on, they'll eventually get a bit of 'memory' and learn their new shape and stay on for the most part. I did fine with no glue or anything.

Yeah my belts still fall out all the time.

You didn’t break the MM screw!!!! 😂
You should do the hachette part works king tiger
Great vid and shirt
good vid on channel keep up the good vids thanks lee
Weren't the MM screws the ones we had such problems with on the older build? They shattered like glass as I recall!
Yep. Solid as a rock this tims
@@WorldofWayneUKI'm guessing that the oil makes quick work of it?
@@synthlord2368 yep. Or the screws are better quality

It's called Glue IT. I get it from The Range stores in the UK
26 was my problem stage. I could not get all three engine mount holes to line up.

Yep. They sent automatic but they are ment to be manual
Will those drive shafts keep the wheels from folding down for BTTF II flight mode?
Nope
What made you build the delorean for the 2nd time?
Is there a difference from eaglemoss and fanhome delorean?
I really love your videos

I'm right behind you. In fact, my Pack 6 is late hoping it ships soon. Question though: Of all the cars you've built with rubber-band-type fan belts. Have they ever deteriorated leaving bits of under the car?
No but these ones don't fit tight. If anything they are just hanging in position so I can't see them deteriorating
The belts don't deteriorate they just fall off and have to be put back on from time to time.

No. Its just something I was toying with one day. The STL files are from partworkupgrades.com
@@WorldofWayneUK Thanks!!Keep those builds coming!!!
BTW I once heard someone comment about their stomach 'It's not a pot belly, it's a fuel tank for a Love Machine.' *LOL*
Lol
Are you going to do the mods for this time machine?
Not this time
there was some very fiddly parts in those stages but it is looking good but a pity that it will be hidden,
The website says you get 5 stages a month and there are 158 stages. Is this really close to a 3 year build???
Yes. The Carbis completed by issue 130. The other stages convert it to the BTTF 3 version
That's not a distributor, it's part of mechanical fuel injection system
I have no idea lol
@@WorldofWayneUK I do ;-)

@@synthlord2368that is an excellent idea. Thank you very much. I will give it a try.
