This was MTV Spring Break 92. Hip hop was my life back then as a 14 year old white kid besides my Friends, girls and sports. It’s was Tribe, Black Sheep, Cypress Hill, Naughty, LONS, and Nice n Smooth all there-basically some of greatest groups of all time in one show
This whole event was dope....the Tribe performance, Busta getting his solo shine... Leaders of the new school, the freestyle w/ Ed lover, B Real etc... great times
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Black Sheep! This song came out when I was in high school It was our anthem playing everywhere, and at to this day it remains one of the best songs ever and they one of the most underrated and underappreciated groups ever 🌟❤️
I remember when this, aired , I was jumping in the living room. I still miss this era in hip hop. There are some good ones now but this was the greatest era.
Legit - We'd get down to the ground just like that, and "pick it up, pick it up, pick it up!" We did it at the clubs and at parties, and it was always high energy like this! No fights, nobody beefin', just coming together, all races and colors to enjoy true hip-hop. I miss those days.
This has to he the best episode of Yo! This, kids is REAL hip hop is. This makes me wanna watch Brown Sugar, cuz that movie expresses what hip hop is supposed be and sound. Seeing all the groups on stage at the end was so dope. Still looking for the whole show. Someone help me out!!!
Man what a good god-damn time to be 11 years old. The Golden Age was my introduction to the rap game. I lived through the birth, life and death of it all.
This generation is not hyped like my generation X. Shows are dead these days when the dopest acts perform everyone In the audience is nodding out on drugs, lean, heroin or has no energy.
Aunque es raro ver a Black Sheep y Cypress Hill en el mismo escenario (sabiendo que los dos grupos tienen un rap muy diferente) es de lo mejor que un fan del rap pueda llegar a ver en su vida 👌🏻.
you know you're baddass when Cypress Hill come out to be your dancers
