Didnt pay attention to the actual point did ya. Its not a football game and it also must be a good dual competitor. Penn St up against Colorado at their stadium (ex) isnt a competitive or good dual. You dont compare football games to wrestling attendance. They arent always the same fan base, genius and theres other factors already mentioned. smh

While waiting and warming up in 30 - 40 degree weather? Silly football players are padded with pounds of insulation and helmets that retains body heat. Plus every top of the line spandex, sweats and insulators on the planet. Wrestlers have a sweatshirt and sweat pants and have to literally do combat sports. It’s different. Can be done but completely miserable for the wrestlers and may cause injury. Why not request an arena in PA?
You can’t compare it with fall sports where you are constantly moving for 2 hours. Wrestling is anaerobic. If you were to move enough to stay warm enough for the warm ups and staying warm until your match, you wouldn’t have the gumption to put on your best match. There’s a reason we bounce in place and just shake out the muscles and nerves. We aren’t running laps or doing sprints for extended periods of time before a match. That’s about 20 minutes then staying warm after that

Wrestling isn’t an olympic winter sport. Just a scholastic winter sport because it’s more difficult with the luxury of indoor practices
