These are very nice!😊
I love working with envelopes and this idea is genius. I will have to play around with it and see what I can come up with. I am impressed that they are strong enough for covers. Love it Gina. Am trying to catch up with what I have missed and certainly am happy I saw this. You are the girl my friend!!!! I am so very sorry to hear about your father in law's passing. It's heartbreaking and so sad. I feel for you and your family. I am sorry Gina.
These are great, I just came across your channel. I love the butterfly one. And your story about hiking was interesting.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love this! Thx for introducing me to a new paper designer too. Such gorgeous papers. And this idea is lovely. I am inspired!
I love this & your clutch wallet, but there are other crafters on UA-cam that are stealing your ideas, acting like they came up with the idea & some just not giving you credit, which I can understand that most of us can’t remember where we got the idea from, so just say that whatever they are doing is not their original idea, that it came from another crafter that they can’t remember the name of & others just point blank doing your creations for their subscribers, acting like it’s their idea & just not giving credit to you or the crafter that they can’t remember & you aren’t the only crafter that this is being done to, so I just politely make them & their subscribers aware of it because it’s not right & it’s a big pet peeve of mine! Take care & keep creating these awesome crafts, 🎀 Lily 🎀

Thank you for sharing this idea on using envelopes. I have been saving envelopes and now I have an idea how to use them. I want to start and " an idea journal" and this will be my first entry. I love your style and your calm, lovely voice.
Thank you so much Katherine!
I loved this project so much! I made my clutch first, then watched this one to make a journal to fit in it!
This is so beautiful and there are so many variables Gina. I’ve got a hundred, yes 100 A5 used and window envelopes which have arrived over the last two months; all from various sources associated with finalising my husbands estate.following his passing at the beginning of August. I’m making a journal and using the envelopes to make the pages pockets etc creating secret places I can write stuff I want kept private. Just picking myself up and so enjoy all the support from the crafty community on you tube. Xxxx
Oh Jean I am so sorry for your loss. Sending prayers and hugs to you during this difficult time. I too find creating therapeutic and hope you will as well. xo
Thank you so much Gina. I understand what your husband is going through too. 💕
Bonjour. J adore ce que vous faites. C est tellement... Simple mais c est beau. Merci beaucoup
I'm 43 minutes into the video and I have only watched about 5 minetes. I'm just crafting away listening to your stories. Hey ho. I'll just have to watch it again😁💜
LOL I am sorry Julie! I am probably not the best to be teaching as I talk too much now! Hugs
@@TheFireFlyStudio67 Don't be sorry, i like it. You've replaced Radio 2 this afternoon. Maybe ring them and ask for a slot, lol.
@@CameliaCraftsDesigns LOL thank you!!
What is basic for someone like you that's been doing this craft for a while ,is not basic at all for someone like me that is a baby beginner in this craft, so even the most basic things are not basic at all. I find more experienced paper crafters or anyone really in anything forgets how it is in the beginning, when it's all new and foreign. I need to learn and having simple tutorials is what is the most helpful by far. Please don't forget that beginners have a harder time than the veteran crafters. Likes making a journal cover is like algebra to me..I would give an arm and leg to have someone actually show Me in real life how to make it, I am having a really hard time to learn even from these UA-cam tutorials,,I feel slow ,but I learn best by seeing and being able to ask questions and it seems like there's always something missing in the videos,I don't know if I'll ever make a journal
Absolutely LOVELY!
Thank you so much!!
Gina thank you so much for showing your envelope process. I am abele to do a little more now so this will be fun to do. Your story was so funny. Thanks for sharing 😍🌴

You made plain envelopes look so beautiful! I love this project and the 2 ways you showed us! I would love to see more videos with your envelope journals or TN’s! Such a nice size and good recycling! I made my daughter a TN size junk journal for my very first time making a journal and it turned out great thanks for inspirations and sharing your work!
Thank you so much!
So pretty thank you for showing them. What stamp set did you use on the tabs. Thanks
Great idea, they turned out so well! Love your stories Gina. We have the same problem, most of our pubs close down lunches around 2 pm and up north in the tropics they have siesta time because it's so darn hot at that time of day! A lot of businesses only open in the mornings in some of these places! I thought for a moment that farmer had sent you on a wild goose chase for his own amusement! Lol!
LOL Pene! I hand even thought of that but now I am beginning to wonder hahaha.
Such a great idea for envelopes. I love how they turned out.
Thank you !
Love the kit your using, , great tutorials always Gina. Hummm will have to look for vintage collage paste.
Yes Ann it is worth the price as I love it! xo
Ao beautiful! I wish i could print out that morh or butterfly paper, nit was so beautiful! I do have 2 questions, what is TN? And also, what was the antique glaze stuff you put over topnof the finished pages? Thanks! This is my first time seeing one of your videos and it is just forgeous! Loved your hiking story, too!

Fun!! These are so pretty. I loved your story and could just picture that farmer chuckling as you trudged!! ❤️. I really have to find some of these envelopes but maybe only 20 or so lol
LOL yes I would recommend that amount unless of course you find 1000 for $1.00 hahaha
TheFireFlyStudio67 🤣🤣🤣🤣 you got me there!!! ❤️
Gina, love your work! My daughter and I watch you all the time,so thanks for giving me something to share with her. Can you tell me what weight paper you are printing your kits on? It seems to be heavier than regular copy paper, but you said not card stock. Thanks so much for sharing so generously.
Appreciate the tutorial...I'm new to this and it really helps! Thank you.
Thank you Nancy and welcome!!
Hi Gina (new subbie from Australia 😊) I believe there are what they call, "Rambling/walking clubs" in the UK for people who like going for nice scenic walks, and they are usually well organised etc, might be worth asking about in your area! I am wondering if you mixed a little ink with some mod podge (or even diluted while glue) you could make something similar to the collage medium ( for those that don't have or cant find the proper stuff)? might have to have a bit of a try! I just love your envelope journal covers, they are beautiful, thanks for the video xo
Fun project! Your story had me chuckling. Glad the farmer was so nice. I need to look for that TH medium and love that brush, I need several! I know how much you are looking forward to visiting the states. Could you talk to the airlines about packing a few small boxes with your stuff and shipping them on the plane when you come back? Might be cheaper and a better option than suitcases. I’m sorry for the loss of your father in law. I was responsible for my older brother’s estate and it was a lot of work, but he was very smart and had a lawyer lay everything out in writing, so the legal part was easy. Plus we are in VA and he was in Florida, so we had to deal with being in a strange area we weren’t familiar with. I love watching you! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Martha so much. xo
Gina thank you so much, enjoyed your stories and just soaked up your tutorial and now I will be trying this out too!!
Wonderful tutorial! Gosh what a great idea! I'm always in awe of you clever girls on here. I'll be having a go at this and do already have two of the three kits that you are using. Just been to purchase the moths!. Always amazed at the prices on that site and with the sale on, it's such good value. Thank you for your time and inspiration.
Thank you so much I appreciate you taking the time to watch and leave me such a lovely comment. xo
I love you work Gina. Btw what did you paint on to the collaged envelopes. I'm in Melbourne, Australia ans I haven't seen that jar before. Thanks in advance.
Love this! So pretty and fun to make! TYFS! NEW SUBBIE HERE MICHIGAN USA 💜🦋❤️
I just subscribed to your channel i love what you do. I am collecting to start my own junk journal but these envelopes are beautiful. 💜

Everything you make is so inspiring, I love your work! :-)
I so Love all your work and your generosity in teaching us so many things ... I would like to ask what paper you use to capture the colors and print these images . Thank You again so much
Thank you Linda! I use 100-120gsm presentation paper. Costs a little more but I love the results xo
This is so cute! Love it. Tfs.
I absolutely love your style. I’m considering getting an Ecotank printer and an inexpensive laptop to be able to download the lovely papers you use. Any suggestions on what I need in a laptop and do you use an ecotank printer?
I love my Epson tank printer. I switched from my instant ink hp printer to the eco tank printer and have never looked back.
I love this idea, I was wondering where did you buy your ruler? Thank you so much for the information.
What is that brush on product you used? What a great effect!
I love this idea for envelopes, I make junk journals with mine but never thought to make covers tfs Gina, New Subbie
Welcome! I am so happy you enjoyed my channel enough to subscribe ! Thank you
Paper tearing ruler is no longer available..and not sure if when or if ever. Will have to search for another source. Loving your journals. So creative.
So sorry Eloise. If I can find another source I will keep you in mind
We R Memory Keepers 0633356600824 Rulers & Guides-Tear Guides (4 Piece)
Eloise Luyk I googled “ metal paper tearing ruler” and although I didn’t find any identical to the one in the video, I did find some similar! 😊
Got a junk journal question 101 for a newbie here. I don't have a good quality printer and can't really afford to run out and buy one even though I want to now that I have discovered digital art!!! Anyways I have heard you can still buy the digi packs of art off of etsy and just print it at a print shop to get excellent quality prints but how do I do that? Do I buy it and somehow download it onto a flash drive and take that to the print shop? Do we even use flash drives anymore?? I am so out of sink with technology....LOL Help me please..... Thank you!!! FYI I LOVE everything you create!!!!!
Did you draw that little bird on your large white backdrop or did it happen accidentally? Your envelope cover is so pretty and can't wait to make one. Thanks for sharing. Hugs.
It was accidental as I cannot draw anything lol. Happy crafting to you!
