Hi Orlando, Thank you for highlighting the 1957 Topps Baseball set. It’s the first set that I collected. I’m still short of completion but I love the simplicity of the design. Thanks for the memories Orlando, Peter
57 is such a great set! Really set the standard for collecting going forward. The Braves also winning the WS that year, I need to go back and build the team set. Thanks for the inspiration!
Great set and what an epic list of rookies in it . Was blessed to add the last rc I needed at the the 2023 Nationals ,the fellow Arkansas native Brooks
My favorite set as well! I like the Hank Aaron reverse negative card - amazing that was never caught. The "Big Klew" card is also a classic with guns out. Love the stats on the back and the fact they mention service in WWII just adds to the Americana. Nice job!
One of the first sets I put together and still one of my favorites with the full card photos. First year of any sets that they put every year worth of stats on the back-- that was my favorite thing. You've got some beauties! Love the ghost of the Babe showing up.
As always, your copies are amazing, Orlando! This is my least favorite design of the 50s, but they are awesome! It just goes to show you how amazing the sets were back then. It's a forever iconic and very important set with the hobby for sure. Thanks for sharing!
Really enjoyed this one Orlando. Your Frank Robinson is especially sharp! No snowing at all! Same with the Brooks Robinson. Such beautiful cards. This set really captures the 1950’s to me. Thanks for sharing.
I really enjoy the 1957's. I still need the Mazeroski and Brooks Robinson and may pick up a Rocco Colavito some day. Excellent copies that outshine the grades there, my friend! Absolutely amazing Brooks, I hope to find one that nice as well.
First REAL photos of Ballplayers on cards. It made the "Greatest Game" more real to the openers of those packs as well. That 8 of "Teddy Ballgame" #1 is fantastic. Great Set ... Great VID!
Hi Orlando. I know 57 Topps can be very unpopular among collectors focused on design, due to its minimalist front. I love this set, for the same reason. It lets us focus on the photography, which I think is very respectful to the players depicted. Thanks for sharing. 🙏
The 57 set is one that I have grown to appreciate in large measure because of the history you discussed. At first, the grainy nature of the pics and registration made me focus on other sets, but now I love the photos and the history being Topps's first photo set. I have several of the key cards in my collection. Looking to add Koufax, Mantle and B. Robinson soon. Thanks Orlando. - David D.
Great set. It has so many amazing cards, the Brooks Robinson and Frank Robinson...I think, Don Drysdale too, so under appreciated. But thanks for sharing, Orlando. See you soon in a live stream or chat!
Hi Orlando. Great cards and love the story you told of this set. The Brooks Robinson is one of my favourite cards of the set also. Thanks for sharing my friend, talk soon pal.
Thanks for the history lesson of the 57. I’ve always wondered how they decide who gets what number card in the set. Seems the modern platinum set will honor some players by giving them their Jersey number. I like the ghost of Babe theory 😂 I was looking at a Favre card recently that had someone’s bicep covering most of his face 😂
Nice history of the set. I’m slowly working on getting a fully graded complete set together. My goal is to have all graded as a 7 or higher. I know that’ll cost a small fortune, but I’ll take my time and keep acquiring needed cards as I can.
I’m still cool on 53 Bowman and 57 Topps!? Am I the only one? 😮😅 57 Football…I like!👍 ❤ all the other Topps releases from 57 as well! Basketball and Non-Sport too!? Odd-ball collector stance!? 😂❤
Topps did a great job deviating from the previous three years. I think I only have a Pee Wee Reese card and the Dodgers Sluggers card from this set. Bummed that they did not include Jackie Robinson, must have had a contract dispute with Topps. He was on the Dodgers Team card though. I like the simplicity of the card design, not all the colors that they started to add in 58 and 59. Very distinct set for Topps.
You guys on here running channels showing old cards. That know what you are doing. I think going to card shows and buying raw cards...ones that look good from your experience. Then repackaged into a box......a monthly box. Sold through your channel. Maybe offer 50 box's a month at first . See how it goes. Prices on vinatage are good. You guys could come up with some of the best repacks EVER MADE.
That’s a cool idea, but I’m sticking to showing the cards I love for now. I’m not one to sell my cards, I did that for years when I was a dealer. Repacks is gambling, I’m out. Don’t want the hobby to be that.
The 1957 Topps and 1953 Bowman Color are my two favorite sets!
Me too, I like the simple design and photos. Thanks for sharing your thoughts
Learn something new everyday. Never seen or heard of ghost of Mickey Mantle. That’s another reason to love this hobby.
It’s the ghost of Babe Ruth in the Mantle card they say. Love the hobby, thanks for sharing your thoughts.
@ I meant ghost on Mickey Mantles card

My favorite 1950's Topps Set. Great cards Orlando.
Thanks for watching! Definitely one of the best sets
My favorite set as well! I like the Hank Aaron reverse negative card - amazing that was never caught. The "Big Klew" card is also a classic with guns out. Love the stats on the back and the fact they mention service in WWII just adds to the Americana. Nice job!
I agree, the Hank Aaron reverse negative card is a fantastic example of a classic mistake! Appreciate your insight

Mazeroski and Robinson are tough cards to get in good condition, keep searching!

Agree. I love the look of the set. Thank you Jason
My favorite set!
One of the best
Love this set. No thrills just nice plain design. I love the Rookie of Frank Robinson as the red really pops off the card.
You and me both! Great set for sure.
Great set. It has so many amazing cards, the Brooks Robinson and Frank Robinson...I think, Don Drysdale too, so under appreciated. But thanks for sharing, Orlando. See you soon in a live stream or chat!
Thanks Andrew, you’re awesome!!
I'm working on that set too. One of my favorites. Thanks, Orlando.

A 7 or higher is a very ambitious goal, you’ll need to be patient. Good luck on your journey. I completed it raw.
Frank Robinson and Clemente cards are great!
Thank you Fernando
I had the Frank Robinson Rookie back in elementary school, I felt like i hit the big time 😂
It’s still a big card, Frank was great. Thank you for sharing your story
One of my dad's favorite sets used to call it the grass set one day hopefully I will have this one day I will have the set already have the mantle
That's a great set to build and a great memory to have with your dad
I love the set I am working on a PSA graded set just taking my time I have close to 20% done right
Congrats, it’s a beautiful set.

You rock! Really enjoyed your comment. Agree on the 57’ sets
Don Drysdale RC card is my favorite. I’d like to get it slabbed. Prob tuxedo
Get it slabbed SGC it will look great

I’ve got the Dodgers sluggers card and forgot to show it. Was a shame that Jackie was left out. It’s still a great set.
Last Brooklyn dodgers and New York giants.
Yes, I should’ve shown the Dodgers Slugger card!

Prices on vinatage are good. You guys could come up with some of the best repacks EVER MADE.
These repacks these people are opening on here. Look like they have cards in them from garage sales
That’s a cool idea, but I’m sticking to showing the cards I love for now. I’m not one to sell my cards, I did that for years when I was a dealer. Repacks is gambling, I’m out. Don’t want the hobby to be that.
It’s junk in repacks
