It's uncommon to come across ASC controllers with custom timing like this. 4/5 instead of 6/6. I also love that this one cancels slowly instead of the regular one that abruptly cuts out.
I’ve been to the Screamer s-5 in orient and I’ve passed by the 10v, I think they have some type of break system to make the wind down faster, not for the full wind down.
Nice video, if it’s still accurate, I have the sounding policy info, according to an email that I was sent as a response, the wail cycle is used for fires, Hi-Lo is EMS, and pulse is for all misc. calls. I’m not sure if this is still accurate but I believe that’s what I was told.
They mostly said the same thing to me a few years ago but the Hi-Lo is used for auto accidents, and the alert is for rescue calls. Another thing I remember them telling me is that they have a cycle for water rescues too which leads me to think they probably use the fire signal for those.
@@SirensofLongIslandThey use some type of pulse signal without wind up or wind down for water rescue. Someone else has it recorded with Lynbrook going off first.
They don’t test the two Alertronics unfortunately. For this video to be possible I dedicated a whole entire day waiting at the village hall one here with my scanner hoping to maybe get a few calls.
@@SirensofLongIsland Aw man. Whenever I get a scanner, I will try to catch a call of their Alertronics going off whenever I have the chance. Also, when does Malverne test their sirens? I’m planning on going there on the 1st of November.
So glad you came back to this!!! Sirens on these controllers always sound so goofy, but it seems like the b tone is starting to die out

The pitch on the siren is very cool! I love ACA sirens
I swear these are one of the coolest sounding sirens made by A.S.C./A.C.A.
Background siren is EOWS 612
awesome video! great to see a new video on this, and to see it doing attack!
I love that dual Hi-Low!
I’m pretty sure both allertronics go off together
You should check out Greenport and Orient NY with their sirens. The one in Greenport is loud as hell!!!!!!

is this analog or digital?
Digital. All ASC electronic controllers are dual tone capable including the current ones.
ACA controllers are mostly analog.
That’s hot
Nice!! Do they test? I really wanna check them out one day!
No, they don't unfortunately
